Holiday rentals with lake access in Markey Township

Everything was fantastic! The place was very clean and felt very cozy! Clinton was very helpful, answered most questions before i could ask! would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was cozy and we felt very at home. Comfy beds, this home has everything and more. Lots of games, activities, the hot tub was an added bonus. Beautiful neighborhood. It was a perfect week get away! We will be back!!!

We had a great last minute one night stay. Wish we could have stayed a bit longer. The lake is peaceful and stunning. Kayaking at sunset was the highlight of our overnight stay. We really appreciated the pellet grill. Our dogs loved the yard and hanging on the dock. The cabin was cozy, clean and we felt right at home. Would love to come back in the future for a longer stay! We really enjoyed staying at Fawn’s place!! This was a top tier place! She thought of everything and provided so many extras like snacks, an assortment of drinks and even chocolates on the pillows. The decor was very well done and it was so clean and comfortable. It was a great spot to stay as we explored some of north Michigan. We slept well and the surroundings were very peaceful and quiet. We would stay here again without any hesitation. Fawn was quick to answer questions and help in any way. We enjoyed staying here very much!!

We loved being right in the heart of it all - walking distance to the beach, the marina, plus the many eateries in the downtown area. The space was clean and quaint and we were pleasantly surprised that there was a small sun porch we could sit in to drink our coffee and watch passersby. We were planning to eat out so it was no trouble for us that this studio was not equipped for any cooking. We did have a nice mini fridge with a freezer for drinks and snacks. As soon as we arrived in town we watched the sunset at the marina and saw the northern lights immediately afterward! Guess it just worked out that night. Stacy was excellent with communication both by phone call and text. The shower was nice and hot but be aware there is a curtain dividing the bathroom rather than an actual door. Would highly recommend WaterFire winery a short 10 minute drive away. We love all of the water views in the area and walking to everything so we would be pleased to stay here again.

An absolutely beautiful space and amazing hosts. I had the perfect stay with Monica and Gary, they were so friendly and helpful. The apartment is the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in by far, the view from the balcony is beautiful and the lake access is beautiful with a large sandy beach. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit lake city. Also, very comfy beds and a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Juli Lynne's place is very comfortable, very livable, very clean, and right next to a wonderful county park where you can take a nice walk. Juli Lynne was very nice, very communicative and made sure we were satisfied with everything, and we were. It was a great place for a weekend getaway!

Our second time staying here. Very clean and neat. Super close to the horse park and the beach. Host is always responsive within a few minutes. Will definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Daphne & Will's gorgeous home. To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement – their space was filled with tasteful decorations, thoughtful touches, and high-quality finishes and furnishings. There was no way we could use every amenity available on a short 3-day stay, but that's all the more reason to come back and enjoy the space again sometime in the future. We particularly enjoyed the fireplace, view of the trees and lake, and comfy sofa – perfect for a relaxing trip. Will and Daphne struck the perfect balance of responsiveness, giving space, and friendliness. Airbnb perfection.

Great stay, small and cozy for 2 people. Bathroom shower / getting out is kind of tight but doable. A larger person might have more of an issue but over all would recommend. Pretty central in a small town

What a beautiful place to stay and come back to after a long day of training for a week. It was peaceful, quiet, had a fireplace, a private lake that we used for kayaking, an indoor pool, and a tennis court. There was even $1 ice cream bars at the community center. Host was responsive and gave heads up about things as needed. They did not bombard with unnecessary information and gave clear instructions and recommendations in a binder provided. The only thing we wished it offered was the ability to bring our dog. We would definitely come back for a getaway trip though.

The Blue Gill Cottage was a beautiful place to spend Memorial Day weekend with our family! The location is so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the beautiful lakefront view, kayaking and fishing during the day and bonfires at night! Barbara was a wonderful host who was quick to respond with any questions we had. We highly recommend! We plan on many more visits in the future!

My husband and I and our two girls had a wonderful time. The girls loved the loft area. Beautiful fall colors. We went to the Charlevoix Apple Fest while in town, and found some petoskey stones as well. Highly recommended wood shop social restaurant in Mount Pleasant. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My husband and I had a wonderful time relaxing at this lake house. It had everything needed for us to kick back, relax, and unplug. Our host was very responsive with every contact that we made! The only thing I would add to the house description is that there are a few pretty tall steps in the house, so someone with bad knees might want to consider that. Great place and well with the money!

Loved the cabin!!! Super cute and homey, loved how pet friendly it was. The hosts were super responsive and went above and beyond for welcoming. Will definitely book again as we come up often!

We had a cozy weekend getaway. This is a great location for lake activities and only a 10-20 minute drive away from groceries, restaurants, etc. Tina and David are responsive friendly hosts!

This is our second time staying at the Hobbit House as we travel to TC to visit family every year and this is our favorite in nature perfectly far away from the busy pace of our regular lives. Theresa is fantastic and always responsive. She ensure we have everything we need before and after check-in. We look forward to coming back again next year.
