Family-friendly holiday rentals in Marittima

We had a very nice vacation! Rooms and breakfast were really great and the hot tub was really great.

It’s a very nice apartment block, there’s 6 units in total, the location suited our trip, we were greeted by a lovely lady called Lucia who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. Our apartment was beautiful and quiet, very well equipped. I would recommend getting a top floor apartment as the bottom apartment we stayed in was noisy from people walking or moving chairs upstairs. My only other recommendation is that the second bedroom be fitted with a blind as the light shines through, this didn’t worry us but might others. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will still recommend you staying.

Alberto & Felipo were wonderful and very helpful hosts on our stay in Lecce. They spent a lot of time helping us get oriented upon our arrival; gracious, good-natured and very responsive during our stay. Clean, well-kept, and in a great location near San Mateo Church, we would stay there again. The roof, with hot tub, is actually nicer and bigger than the photos allow. My family was very happy staying there. Grazie!

Ada is a delightful hostess. Her place is wonderful little oasis, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it without other guests, so can’t comment on the privacy, but it’s a perfect place to discover the area if you have a car. Loved the pool, Ada’s cooking and the cheeky cats that run the place. Definitely recommend.

I would give this place and host 6 stars if I could! It’s a HUGE apartment that’s part of a palazzo built in the 1400s. Luigia is the most charming, warm, friendly and helpful host ever! She makes you feel at home and does so many thoughtful things like stocking the fridge with food and beverage items, walking you through the place with the right level of detail and even made my restaurant reservations for me like a concierge. The location is 2 mini blocks off the main square yet tranquil as can be. And the bed is the most comfortable of my 5 weeks in Italy thus far! I love Lecce, this place and this host! Can’t wait to return.

A 5-star accommodation. Large apartment, well exposed, very well equipped, and in a quiet neighborhood. While being close to the beach, and small shops. Bike, BBQ and Jacuzzi available. Complimentary coffee pods and a bottle of red wine. A view of the sea and the breathtaking sunset. We would have stayed there for a few more days. I recommend it 1000%.

Our stay here was a paradise. The super clean house was charming, eco friendly, nature filled and extremely well equipped. The location was quiet and yet very close to cafe supermarket and beach/swim places. Remarkable restaurants also. I would highly recommend Donatello and Massimina’s naturalistic home to anyone seeking charm and quiet. They are such lovely hosts too. Many thanks for our fab stay.

This place was even more beautiful than the photos. Gorgeous views everywhere you looked. Sunrises were magical. Ada and her husband were so very kind and helpful with any questions we had. This place is a perfect oasis for a group gathering. You wouldn’t need to leave the property if you didn’t want to. So much to see and do right on site including pool and outdoor pizza oven. Several little spots to eat or have a drink with sea view within minutes. Santa Maria Di Leuca is only 15 minutes away with many terrific restaurants and touring options!

The house and garden are really beautiful! We spent many great hours there and even used the pizza oven 😍the place is really highly recommended! Antina is very sweet and helpful, answered every question:-) We were there at the end of September and had many mosquitoes🦟. The location is also perfect, you can see many beautiful beaches and lecce is also only 30-40 minutes away :)

We had a great stay at Laurita's accommodation located in the historic center of Matino. The accommodation is typically renovated with a lot of taste and the authenticity of the region. It was a haven of peace. We loved the terraces, which are a significant plus for this rental. We enjoyed the sunsets and the company of the cats. Laurita is a very attentive and very responsive host full of nice touches. We recommend the Murusanza restaurant, located only 2 minutes from the accommodation, we ate very well there. It is an ideal destination to discover the south of Puglia.

The accommodation was fantastic. Very spacious, nice bathrooms, different seating areas, large kitchen with enough supplies, cutlery, glasses and mugs. Washing machine available. Very occasionally the power went out but that was easy to fix. You just couldn't turn on too many devices at the same time. The host was always available if you had questions and very quick to respond. All in all, had a top holiday even though the season hadn't quite started yet. Excellent central place for all kinds of sights.

Had a great time in this Airbnb, very clean, extremely spacious and had everything we needed. There are two lovely beaches near the apartment as well as a good supermarket. Only downside is the distance to Gallipoli old town but we had a car and found parking no problem

I would like to give even more stars! Gaetano's accommodation is simply a dream! We felt right at home. The garden is a paradise! Very well maintained! The pool is extremely clean and is only shared with a few guests and so you are often alone here. The loft itself is also very clean and tasteful, puristically furnished. Location is very quiet! There is a small convenience store around the corner. Giuliano di Lecce is a small village from which you can quickly reach many sights. In my opinion, the best starting point to visit the beautiful sandy beaches on the Ionian Sea and the great caves, bays, etc. on the Adriatic. A rental car is of course a must here! Gaetano himself is not on site (but answers questions very quickly and immediately takes care of concerns) but his dear parents, who take care of everything and also take care of the friendly and uncomplicated check-in. It was just perfect!

Had a fantastic stay at Emanuele's place. The room and pool area were lovely and created a great environment to relax in. The location is great, and Emanuele is a super kind and attentive host!

Occasionally on Airbnb you arrive somewhere and it’s like hitting the jackpot. Each and every space is beautiful, well appointed and through a design lens- stunning. Laid back luxury at its best. We are a (grown up) family of 9 and appreciated the numerous spaces to step back for moments of solitude - both inside and out. All the bedrooms are gorgeous- so no one left feeling like they’ve pulled the short straw, and the kitchen is perfect for creating big dinners. A cool (thanks to the air con) sitting room-perfect for reading, and bathrooms all well designed and good looking. The pool is beautiful- big enough to get a proper swim in which in my experience is rare, but the huge table under the canopied terrace off the kitchen was the place to be! The village bar is a 2 minute walk away and more restaurants a 15 minute walk. Can’t recommend enough, and can’t wait to return. Thank you Rocco and the wonderful house keepers for making our stay perfectly fabulous.

Absolutely exceptional stay – beyond all expectations! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Paolo was an outstanding host – warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as perfect as possible. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly well taken care of. The villa itself is just amazing – full of character, thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and spotlessly clean. But the real highlight? The view. Absolutely breathtaking. Photos don’t do it justice – it’s something you have to see with your own eyes. This place is a hidden gem, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Thank you, Paolo, for everything – you’ve set the bar impossibly high!

giuliana's apartment has been written a lot. That's why I just want to add a few things that can help you decide if this is the right apartment. Basically it is a nice apartment, especially the outdoor area with pool and trees is wonderful. Communication with Giuliana was also excellent. Things to note: - The apartment is relatively shaded, in summer an advantage, rather too dark in October, as the terrace is also in the shade. - For two people, the apartment is optimal, four people are rather inconvenient. The guest couch may be fine for children, for adults and not recommended for several days, especially because the couch is a walk-through room. - It is also a pity that there is only one bistro table within the apartment and not a normal one, which is due to the size of the apartment and also works for 4 people. It's not really cozy, though.

We had an amazing stay at Francesca’s. We were in contact with Lukas who was extremely helpful, clear and friendly. At check in, Lukas met us and showed us around, he had many local recommendations for us. Throughout the stay he was super responsive and helpful. The first morning we woke up to fresh croissant and pasticciotti!! The house was beautiful, very spacious, full of light and extremely clean. There are many places to sit and many amenities like the pool, outside showers, hammocks and outside BBQ area. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you.

An absolutely wonderful villa with a great view to the east and sunrise. Lots of space to sit and lounge and eat and spend time together with family and friends. A bit of a drive to the beach, but all very doable. Definitely in the return to list. Last but not least - Fausto is fab!
