This house is amazing. Breakfast while overlooking the horse pasture, dinner out on the back deck. Everything in the house was spotless! The shower was so great. It had good water pressure! The beds were so comfy, I got the best sleep here. Better than I've gotten in a long time! The pool was clean. My kids enjoyed it, even though it was chilly out! They also enjoyed the games in the garage. My kids loved the popcorn machine, what a fun touch! The location is perfect. It's out in the country, but close enough to other towns that a run to the store doesn't take all day. It's very close to several Rend Lake Day Use Areas, which makes going out fun and easy! 10/10 Will stay again.

We had a team of 9 for a week and the place had everything we needed! Abbie was a responsive host and the location was fantastic. Memories to be made and non stop conversation starters. One of the most fun air bnbs that I’ve been a part of over the years. Thank you!

Four of us stayed in Lisa's place for the weekend and we had more than enough space. The outdoor area was definitely our favorite amenity. Sitting outside anytime of the day with a beautiful view of the bluffs was special. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the area. It was a wonderful time.

Indoor pool was great! Travel size shampoo and conditioner were provided in all bathrooms, as well as plenty of towels. Nice house right on the lake!

Loved staying at this location. So close to restaurants and shops and outdoor adventures. Very quiet. Amazing views of stars. Plenty of sleeping spaces. Very responsive and helpful host!

This quaint and cozy place was a perfect stay for our road trip. The patio was a great spot to enjoy dinner! The weather wasn’t the best but we made the best of it and did enjoy the pool for a bit.

My husband & I enjoyed our stay at Kennedy’s Place. The hosts are super nice & friendly! Rooms are large & appliances are updated! The house is decorated with historic & cute pictures, along with a beautiful picture of Garden of the Gods. Antiques decorate the home, which I love! The backyard is huge & my husband & our dog spent many hours sitting outside & relaxing next to a fire pit. I highly recommend staying at Kennedy’s place! And if you are looking for restaurant recommendations, Morello’s has scrumptious lunch & dinner entries & Mackie’s Pizza has been a favorite of locals. You can even get apples on your pizza! It is delicious!

We had a great weekend at Lena’s house. It was very clean. A very nice place to stay out of the way and secluded in a very quiet setting. We highly recommend staying here!

The Farm was everything we expected it to be. It feels brand new inside and out. The hot tub was great. The isolation and peacefulness was well deserved and needed for a fantastic Father's Day weekend with my son. The fishing pond was a nice touch, my son caught a bunch of sunfish.

The house is beautiful, quiet and feels like home. I will never rent a hotel again. Will stay at this home again.

Stayed here with a friend and our 2 dogs. Had a chance to meet Teresa and her two pups. She was very friendly. I think my gps took me the long way around to her house. I was beginning to wonder if I was in the middle of nowhere but that was not the case. The place definitely is more rural than urban but we were very close to Carbondale. I would stay again.

Loved staying at Ellen’s beautiful lake home for the weekend. It was very comfortable for all and views of the lake/sunset did not disappoint! Ellen was super quick to respond to questions before and during our stay, so accommodating and pleasant :) Lake of Egypt is one of our favorite spots and we enjoyed going back once again. Ellen’s home is one of the prettiest yet - updated and modern with all of the conveniences + lots of extras with vacationers in mind. Located near the marina for great food, boozy shakes, live music and the water park. We also enjoyed the kayaks provided and hanging out on the large deck of the home, as well as the spacious dock below. Highly recommend this host and home for your next trip to the lake!

JR was quick to respond and friendly. We went there for a fishing trip and it did not disappoint. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Could easily do 6 people. The porch swing was really comfortable sitting on at night enjoying lake life. The covered pier was awesome! Electric to plug in our boats, lighted and a nice little fish cleaning station. It was a great deal and we hope to go back again soon!!

We stayed one (last minute) night on our way back home to KC, the host approved our request very quickly which was great. This was the perfect spot to rest after a long day of driving! We felt right at home and there were a lot of nice touches that made us feel welcome and taken care of. The beds were comfortable, so we slept very good. Really cute landscaping/plants to enjoy when we woke up and enjoyed some morning coffee in the backyard. Would definitely stay here longer if I wasn’t just passing through. Thank you!

The place was beautiful and exactly what my Fiancee and my mother needed to enjoy a quick weekend trip to the wine trail. The place was spotless and the hot tub was the best! Patrick and Jennifer were very helpful and made sure the check in and check out process ran smoothly! We highly recommend this property and we will be back!

The Airbnb was cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Being so close to the lake was a huge bonus. The host was responsive and thoughtful, making the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!
