Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Marina di Mancaversa-Giannelli

A comfy home with beautiful high vaulted ceilings. It has a huge rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a drink at the end of the day. Massimo was easy to communicate with and kind enough to swap mattresses so the firmest one was on the down stairs bed for us. There is a quite steep, winding and narrow staircase to get into the apartment and more to get to the second bedroom and also the rooftop terrace which adds to its charm but may not be suitable for the elderly and unfit. Its in a very quiet location only 10 minute walk from the station and only a few minutes to bars and restaurants.

The descriptions and pictures are very accurate. The apartment is easy to find if you don’t use google maps directions/navigation. The most direct route is to follow the “lungomare”, turn at AMU restaurant, and proceed to number 10. The apartment is on several floors, without an elevator. There are 65 steps from the street to the rooftop terrazzo and kitchen. Each bedroom is on a separate stop along the stairs below the kitchen floor. The apartment is the best equipped of any apartment in which we’ve stayed over a period of 12 years. Francoise is very helpful and responsive. She provided a great deal of local info and recommendations. Also, she can arrange for a parking garage; street parking is non-existent.

We relaxed the minute we walked down the stairs to the house and saw the beautiful view over the Adriatic. Our group of two couples loved the many outdoor areas, the comfortable beds and well appointed kitchen and bathrooms. Great to have a BBQ too. Vincenzo and Giulia were fantastic hosts and were very helpful. Castro is a lovely town on the south coast and we definitely recommend Casa Le Radici.

Giuseppina and Mirco have a great sense of hospitality. Very respectful of your peace, they are attentive and warm. The rental matches the description perfectly. It is very well-equipped and extremely clean. Ideally located, it will allow you to explore the surroundings and discover the area. In addition to the kindness of Giuseppina and Mirco, the terrace is the best part of this rental.

A wonderful four night stay in the historic centre of Lecce. The apartment/house was larger than expected. Perfect for families or friends travelling together. Giorgia was a great host, meeting us early at the apartment so we could store our cases. She provided drinks and breakfast food. All those little extras make for a special stay. I highly recommend a stay at Giorgia’s house.

What a lovely tucked away little place this is. The appartment is designed with taste, respect for history, all the comfort you could wish for. Kitchen very complete. A lovely flowered terrace to have your morning tea or breakfast. No wifi (yet?), but we did not miss it a bit. (On the nearby Piazza Salandra you can find free wifi). In the heart of the historic centre, with shops, cafes, restaurants, a central supermarket, everything one might think of nearby, just 2 minutes. Yet it is very quiet and secluded. Nardò itself is very elegant and pleasant. We would love to come again to this little place of Andrea and Maria. Thank you very much. Tot ziens!

We had the most amazing time at the Masseria! The property is beautifully curated … rooms full of character and quirky details, spacious and most of all homely . The large outdoor area allows for al fresco dining and plenty of socialising. Beautiful pool area and gardens …the attention to detail is incredible. Thank you Francesca for creating such a wonderful home and allowing us to share it !

Great place to stay Location close to everywhere on edge of old town Spacious Fab terrace

We had a wonderful stay at Alessandra's stylish apartment and the charming town of Nardó! The apartment is very well equipped, located directly in the historic center and is furnished with attention to detail. Nardó is wonderful for exploring the surrounding beaches and cities and itself offers a very good infrastructure. The communication with Alessandra was very warm and straightforward at all times - her hospitality was truly remarkable! We highly recommend this place and would be happy to come back to this beautiful spot of Italy :)

We absolutely loved our stay in the Artist's Apartment and would recommend to anyone visiting Lecce! The space had everything we needed and a beautiful terrace, with a hammock - perfect for relaxing after seeing the city. The shower is very small but this didn't bother us. The place is walkable to the beautiful old town and has air-con. The host let us in slightly early which was really helpful and appreciated. The flat was beautiful and had fun quirky art everywhere - we loved our stay!

Davide was super responsive and friendly, we enjoyed our stay the apartment is full of details and clean. We arrive later than plan he was super flexible on the check-in.

Being an excellent host ,Guiseppe was waiting for us when we arrived in order to guide us and give us the necessary information for the proper functioning of the apartment . We loved and appreciated that he shares with us the history of his beautiful home,transmitted to his family for a very long time ,as well as the transformations he has made there. We were looking for a quiet place in a good location and we found it in Carpignano , a great base for visiting the area! I recommend it.

Our stay in Castrignano del Capo was a real dream! Lorenzo's house is an authentic gem: tastefully cared for in the smallest details, welcoming and immersed in absolute quiet. The terrace is enchanting, overlooking a centuries-old olive grove that offers a peace that is difficult to describe in words. A sensory and regenerating experience. A great deal of credit also goes to Lorenzo, his mother Antonella and his father Pietro, who are always available and attentive. They welcomed us warmly, giving us valuable advice on places to visit, typical restaurants and the most beautiful beaches. Always present if necessary, but with great discretion. The location is ideal: in a few minutes you can reach the wonderful beaches of Salento and the authentic villages of the Salento hinterland. Castrignano is a quiet but lively village, with friendly and helpful people. It is the perfect place for those seeking beauty, silence, nature and authenticity. We left a piece of our heart here! Highly recommended!

This place is stunning! We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the view all day. We did a grocery shop prior to arriving, cooked/bbq’d without issue (plenty of cooking utensils/dishes), and ate al fresco when the weather permitted. We did laundry and everything air-dried quickly in the sun and breeze. Did a beautiful coastal drive. Loved everything about this place. Assunta gave great recommendations, met us to review everything, and was very responsive to the few questions we had. The bed was super comfy too. Oh and did I mention THE VIEW? Tons of storage to keep the bedroom uncluttered. Assunta provided snacks (loved the cookies), rusks, taralli, and a bottle of wine too! We would love to return year after year! It’s a WOW!

I would give this place and host 6 stars if I could! It’s a HUGE apartment that’s part of a palazzo built in the 1400s. Luigia is the most charming, warm, friendly and helpful host ever! She makes you feel at home and does so many thoughtful things like stocking the fridge with food and beverage items, walking you through the place with the right level of detail and even made my restaurant reservations for me like a concierge. The location is 2 mini blocks off the main square yet tranquil as can be. And the bed is the most comfortable of my 5 weeks in Italy thus far! I love Lecce, this place and this host! Can’t wait to return.

We arrived and departed with a „WOW“ on our lips. The place of Bea is so special und unique - it is obvious how much love and care is put into this place. It is good to relax and enjoy the fabulous pool! We would love to come back!

The house matches the photos, spacious, and the garden is beautiful and comfortable. The location is strategic to reach the beaches of green bay on foot and the clubs nearby. Mr. Antonio was always very kind and available for all our needs. We look forward to coming back soon!

Stefania's house Not on a nature-protected coast, surrounded by a huge garden with beautiful plants, from which you can see the sea from everywhere. We had a perfect stay in Stefania's house and felt extremely comfortable. For people who love nature, this place is an absolute paradise and Stefania is an unconditionally excellent host who does everything at all times to make her guests feel comfortable. Since we had our dog Anton with us, the large garden was also a perfect place for him. From the grounds, you can take wonderful walks along small country lanes all the way down to the sea. The coast in this region is breathtakingly beautiful with many small coves and wonderful hiking opportunities. We can fully recommend Stefania and her heavenly garden. The house is also absolutely perfect for a stay in the middle of nature. Thank you, Stefania, for the beautiful days! Chaya, Toni and Andreas

I booked this villa for my family for a mini trip and everything was perfect. Beautiful house, lovely location and Marco was an exceptional host. Extremely good value for money given the standard of the accommodation. Would absolutley have no hesitation in recommending Marcos place

We spent a week in the villa with our children. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Stefania and were overwhelmed by the beautiful view of the sea. The whole complex is very well maintained and lovingly furnished. There is everything you need for a perfect vacation. We felt very comfortable. We can fully recommend the villa!

We had a great week, the house was true to the photographs of the listing, it was very well cared for and the owner was responding to our demands. We didn't take much advantage of it because in the end we spent the day out on the magnificent beaches of the region, but the house played a lot. In a quiet area but not far from the most frequented areas. With air conditioning in all rooms... ideal for families or large groups, to take advantage of the barbecue, pool and terrace. A very good experience. To repeat!

I could have given 10 stars to Paolo as a host and the house also deserved this! Paolo is already proactive in preparing the trip, always super friendly and makes you really want to stay. Even during the stay, he always asked if we were missing anything. Mr. Gino greeted us on site and always made sure everything was in order. The house, the incredible garden and the pool were even more beautiful than in the pictures - and these are already great. We were in Salento for the first time and wanted to go on many excursions (Paolo has great tips and restaurant recommendations!). But since the house was so beautiful and we couldn't separate, we did without one or the other excursion. This place is 100% recommended.

A beautiful place to explore wider Puglia from. Great host. Would return. Situated just north of Porto Cesareo. Car essential with parking space inside secure perimeter walls. Most sights were 45-90 minute drive. Modern, clean with comfortable furnishings and beds. Well equipped kitchen. Self-catered: 20 mins to nearest Lidl. Short drive to reach restaurants (10 minutes). End of October still warm and sunny in daytime (shorts, t-shirt and slides). Able to swim in small pool (very refreshing though ☺️) and in the sea at nearby beach (5 mins walk: sandy and shallow). Arrived after a severe rain so suffered more with mosquitoes outside which stopped us sitting out in the evenings sadly. Solar-powered hot water very limited (max 2 very short showers). No hot water from kitchen tap. Immersion heater did not seem to get temperature past tepid even after a couple of hours. Would be less of an issue in high summer. Out of season largely was silent around (beach club noise one evening).
