Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Marin County

Had a great time with friends at Laura’s place! Perfect size with enough bedrooms for all. The back deck was gorgeous and we were just a short drive from downtown Sonoma. Laura was very accommodating and responsive. Would recommend staying here!

A picturesque getaway! The property was so beautiful, the house was charming and laid out perfectly for multiple guests. We enjoyed every minute of our time in Sonoma. Highly recommend!

Overall, very nice! My only real issue was the inflexability on the check out end of things. We had to leave a day earlier than planned, through no fault of our own. I tried for a late check out a day earlier (only 3 hours), to save some money of course. The response was, well you are booked until the 20th, so you can stay as long as you want on the 19th. I just felt that there could have been a little compromise, as people sometimes have to change plans due to circumstances beyond their control. Maybe a charge for staying later could have been offered, but I ended up paying for the entire last night without actually staying there. I have had similar situations over the years with other hosts, and they have been more than happy to compromise.

The Hidden Gem is what it truly is…..a hidden gem! So beautifully decorated and furnished and so private. You are surrounded by lush greenery and complete quiet except for the birds and the rooster. What you saw on line in pictures is exactly what you got. We all enjoyed every minute. Thank you again for helping to make our niece’s graduation event so memorable. Nancy was great in her responsiveness. Would highly recommend.

The house was absolutely beautiful and spotless — it’s clear that it has been exceptionally well cared for, with great attention to detail. Everything we needed was provided. The host was warm, kind, and very responsive to all our questions. This was truly a memorable trip, and we would love to come back again in the future. The Sea-renity House is one of the nicest homes I’ve had the chance to stay in. The views are incredible, and it’s a perfect spot for kids with plenty of space to enjoy. The check-in and check-out process was seamless, couldn’t have been easier. Overall, a fantastic experience!

We had the most amazing time at Matt’s place. The house itself is quite literally a grownup-size treehouse perched on a steep hill (the 100+ stairs to get to the door went through a true character arc from a nemesis to a good old friend over three days we stayed there), incredibly beautiful and worthy all the praise it receives here. The furniture and material choices, the thoughtful details, the variety of charming nooks and corners to cozy up and get comfortable in—everything is there to make you feel at home. With hiking trails quite literally steps from the backyard the house is drowning in lush, whispering greenery—hearing birds sing in the morning and hummingbirds buzzing at sunset was my favorite. Truly a rare find—this is not “an airbnb”, instead it felt like a good friend’s house that’s well loved and lived in, making it a very memorable stay. Thank you Matthew and family.

My son had a great stay at Jill's BnB, and found it very comfortable and convenient, especially being close to the water front. Jill was friendly, helpful, and open and prompt in her communication. My son would stay there again if he visits Sausalito.

Faustin is an excellent host providing a truly unique Redwoods experience. Immaculate vibrations. My girlfriend and I hiked from The Treehouse to Muir Woods and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. Highly recommend to anyone who wants an authentic, rustic, pure-hearted experience loaded with character and love. There is magic in the air here. Inhale the crisp air and take care of the gift around you.

This place is an incredible RARE find! It's right on the beach of the Bay and offers incredible sunrises, seal sightings, water access, a great deck for meals, lounging, yoga, and she even has a propane fire place on the deck. We spent most of our time on the deck staring at the water, swimming, and paddle boarding! The indoor space was so comfortable and had everything we needed and was spacious enough for two of us to co-work privately and you could see the water from the living room and both beds. There was a great restaurant across the street and about a mile walk away along the waterfront was downtown Sausalito which was so fun to explore. It was also just a 15 min drive to San Francisco and we rode bikes from Lisa's place up the hill and over the Golden Gate Bridge. We also went to Rodeo Beach for a couple sunsets which was only a ten minute drive away. This place is such a sweet water getaway while being in the middle of the busy Bay Area. We will be back! It was perfect for our needs

This is the perfect sanctuary away from all the hustle and bustle, nestled against a beautiful backdrop of nature and greenery, and close enough to drive into town or take a walk to a local cafe or bakery. We were 10 minute drive to many wineries and to Sonoma Plaza so it was very convenient. Allen was responsive and made our stay easy and pleasant.

The cabins were just what I was looking for to have a quiet low tech weekend. It was a perfectly peaceful little getaway tucked back on the property by the creek. The beach was so close, you could fall asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing and a super short walk to make sure you can catch sunrise/sunset. Charles was very welcoming, communicative, & extremely hospitable as he kindly extended some extra amenities to accommodate my last minute reservation. I’ll surely be back!

Very cute cabin - we loved the loft, the cozy space and the claw footed bath tub! It suited us perfectly!

Jeanne’s place was incredibly beautiful and she was the most responsive host we’ve ever had. She helped coordinate special spots for our weekend trip and went above and beyond making it special. Her place felt so authentic to Sonoma and was the perfect place to stay for your trip!

Charles went out of his way to accommodate us- making sure the hot tub was warm, and that we had enough blankets to stay warm. It was wonderful to be able to come back to a hot tub, and fall asleep to the sound of the waves, after long hikes in Muir + Point Reyes. Cant recommend enough, and would definitely come back!

My partner and I loved our stay. The cabin is singular, full of interesting angles and things to look at, cozy, private, and surrounded by trees and birds. The necessities are all provided. The kitchen was just right for making a couple of easy meals. We enjoyed listening to music and sipping coffee at the table. We woke up to sunlight streaming through the windows. Just lovely. We hope to come back!

Charles is a lovely, responsive host. He was upfront and honest about the glamping situation and there were no surprises. The wild garden, outdoor shower, and private hot tub were what we enjoyed most. We'll definitely be back!

5 stars for the location, nestled in the redwoods just 5 min walk from Mill Valley Downtown and Old Mill Park! Comfortable beds and sofas and great spaces for working, this worked really well for our staycation. The house is an 1880s cabin so it has some charming quirks! Seth is a responsive host and you can tell that he has put his heart and soul into every detail of the space — looks exactly like the photos!

Wonderful place to create great memories! Really great location and view. Great light. The place is very spacious - upstairs is a large loft with a full bathroom which was great. Plenty of room to spread out. Appreciated the different seating areas inside and outside. Like others mentioned, it's got that 'someone lives here' vibe but that didn't bother us at all, in fact, it added to the character. No need to bring anything -- kitchen fully stocked, books, legos & games for the kids, etc. Perfect getaway to unwind and enjoy nature.
