Apartment holiday rentals in Marin County

This little hummingbird casita was a home away from home for my two week stay. Very cozy with lovely and comfortable decor. The apartment makes you feel tucked into the hillside above San Anselmo, town is just a few minutes away. I found everything I needed with no surprises when compared to the accurate description. My host, Peg was very responsive to my questions and even took a few minutes to meet in person.

Katie’s place was just right for additional sleeping space close to our daughter’s family at Thanksgiving. Easy walk to great shops and restaurants, too. Katie was very helpful with questions. We would stay here again.

A great little place to stay in San Rafael, looks exactly like the photos. It’s totally self contained and has everything you need, stocked with all basic items so I was set up straight away and was well equipped and comfortable during my entire stay. Amazing location, very close to all the shops, transport hub and fabulous walking in the hills behind. Laura was great on liaising before and during my stay on anything I needed, but my time there was made so much more special by the wonderful Aileen who owns the place - she’s so welcoming, turned up with the most delicious hot pumpkin bread on my first day and was an absolute angel throughout my time there - I had a few personal things going on during my stay and she was an absolute rock, going way beyond any expectation I had of a host, which was hugely appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful month at your place :)

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay. The house was clean and very cutely decorated, with an amazing view from the deck. You can see all of San Francisco from the house including at three major bay bridges. The neighbors were very friendly as well. There was a little noise from the 580 freeway but it quiets down after around 6pm. If you are driving your own car I would recommend leaving the house before 6am or after 9am as the traffic on the road leading to the home can be quite difficult to navigate. Other than that the place and our hosts were wonderful, 10/10 recommend!

Beautiful apartment in an amazing location. I could walk half a block to The Lumberyard for coffee and a blueberry-lemon scone at the Flour Craft bakery and browse the unique shops, or take a 5-minute walk to Mill Valley's charming downtown. Every detail in the apartment is well thought-out, from the comfortable bed in the bedroom and well-stocked kitchen to the sunroom for afternoon tea and the bright, airy and cozy living room with a cute alcove. Great communication with host. I will definitely stay here again!

Susan has a lovely apartment right in the heart of Mill Valley. All parts of Mill Valley are walkable from the unit. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well-appointed for take out or more involved meals. The old home which has both this and another apartment is lovely with rich history. As an older home, there are a few unusual components such as a narrow bathroom entrance and dim lighting but the charm more than makes up for these small things. Susan and Navid are wonderful, proactive hosts with great communication.

Johnny’s apartment was cozy just as he described it. I was in Sausalito for work therefore the apartment was a nice respite for my friend and I relax and unwind. We didn’t attempt to use the entertainment system, but rather enjoyed the views from the balcony. I recommend Johnny’s place for one person or a couple.

The place and our stay were great. Perfect location, very nice design, great sunlight, friendly host, and nice and clean. Kress was very accommodating, including letting us book at the last minute and check out late. Definitely would stay again.

What a great place to stay! Convenient to where we had to go. Nice little town. Fassil was very responsive to any questions we had! Very clean. Lots of room nice outdoor area as well. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!!!

The location was right in the heart of Sonoma and the apartment was BEAUTIFUL! This is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway and I’d definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We were very happy at Hy's apartment for the week of our stay. Came to Port Richmond to visit our grandkids and our daughter. Impeccably clean with a well stocked kitchen, comfy bedroom and excellent shower (great water pressure). The flat has a nice private outdoor space just perfect for a coffee in the morning to start the day. Parking for one car is offered at the front of the house-- a luxury in the bay area. Hy was available throughout our stay through text, a wonderful host. We will be back! Claudio/Mark

Great place to stay in Sausalito. Walking distance to the town and all the goo restaurants. View of the city and the bay from window, nice.

Candice's place was perfect for what I needed. Fully stocked kitchen, remodeled bathroom and great sunny deck, comfortable living space. It is conveniently located to the hwy to go in any direction but was quiet and peaceful. Easy walk down to San Rafael which is quaint and has lots of spots to check out. Candice was very communicative and quick to respond to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again.

Our 3 night stay was amazing - the place was much larger than we were expecting - love the many options of places to sit in the living room, dining room, and even in the kitchen. Location is a perfect if you don’t mind a 15 min walk to the square. Terry gave clear instructions for check in and it was a total breeze. Would stay here again.

Beautiful location with the best scenery. The place was comfortable- great bed - and had all the amenities we could have needed. Will definitely recommend this place to other family members who may want to visit Petaluma in the future.

I stayed before and I love the privacy of the place. The facilities are clean and right by the ferry services to san Franciscoand angel island. i would recommend it to anyone.

My stay at Jessica’s place was amazing! I wanted privacy without feeling isolated like in a hotel, and this was perfect. From the start, I felt welcomed Jessica is incredible, and her daughter is adorable. We had a great conversation on my first day, and she even offered me two fascinating books to read, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere of her home was exactly what I needed to reconnect with myself. The bathroom was one of my favorite parts spacious, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing. The room had everything I was looking for, and the energy of the house was something you just don’t find in a hotel. This is definitely a place I’d return to again and again. Jessica is a fantastic host, and I highly recommend staying here. If you’re looking for a cozy, welcoming place with amazing energy, this is the one. Five stars!

Yeshi's home is a museum of colorful artwork from her travels around the world. Wonderful to be lulled to sleep by the ocean waves.

I loved my stay here! Maryam was a great host and her place was lovely. The bedroom was comfy and cozy, and everything was tidy and spotless. There's a really nice walking path along the water. Would definitely visit again!

This is the perfect sanctuary away from all the hustle and bustle, nestled against a beautiful backdrop of nature and greenery, and close enough to drive into town or take a walk to a local cafe or bakery. We were 10 minute drive to many wineries and to Sonoma Plaza so it was very convenient. Allen was responsive and made our stay easy and pleasant.
