“I can't express how much we appreciated the stay during these unique times. The advice and general friendly demeanor was lifting for a couple that had to scrap their initial vacation plans for something more secluded during difficult times. The backyard is amazing with the tiki hut and fishing off the dock. The entire property is well cared for and Mr. Jerry is is more than happy to accommodate your stay and offer suggestions for things to do, places to eat, etc. We will be requesting a stay here in the future should we find ourselves in the Keys and a vacancy at Mr. Jerry's place.”

“We had a lovely 3-day stay and wish it had been longer, and that we'd had less windy weather so that we could leave the marina safely on Our Next Dance. But despite the weather challenges, we had a great time visiting the Dolphin Research Center (highly recommend), walking the pedestrian bridges to look at the marine animals below (saw hundreds of tarpon, various stingrays including an eagle ray, a green sea turtle, and a nurse shark), visiting the Key Deer Refuge Nature Center and hiking the refuge trails , and exploring Key West. Marathon is a great home base for visiting sites all over the Keys. And if you want to park your car and forget about it, the marina access point to Florida Bay is great for snorkeling/swimming/kayaking and there's a wonderful heated pool available. So many options and too little time with terrific hosts Charles and Annette—will need to return.”
