Cozy 2 bedroom home is located directly on the Kokosing river thought to translate from the Algonquin Indians and mean “River of the Little Owls.” The cabin is a short distance to Kenyon College, Apple Valley lake, Ohio Amish country and tons and tons of great parks, hiking trails, bike trails and hunting. We are pet friendly (additional $50 per stay, maximum 2 pets).

We are situated near I-70 and, Dillon State Park, Blackhand Gorge and The Wilds. Bald Eagle, Deer, Turkey, Rabbit, Squirrels are in the area.There's golf, wineries and breweries nearby. You'll love the coziness and privacy of the place. This place is good for couples, families, solo adventurers and business travelers. Come get connected with nature and relax. My place is close to Blackhand Gorge Nature Preserve, Dillon State Park, Flint Ridge State Memorial, Virtues Golf Club (formerly Longaberger) and wineries. We are 25 minutes from Newark (west) and Zanesville (east). Surrounded by woods and farm animals. Comfy queen bed, kitchenette, grill, patio table, picnic table, fire pit.

Arrowhead Ridge off-grid cabin #1

This is our rustic cabin that was built during prohibition and was a moonshiners paradise. There is no electricity and is completely off grid. There is a solar shower, lamps and candles, an RV toilet, gas/charcoal grill, outdoor fireplace, fire ring, picnic table etc. There is a queen size futon inside cabin and a futon with two cots in the screen room.
