Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Mangawhai

The two suites were perfect for us, giving couples some privacy but having a communal lounge/kitchen. Ali was very thoughtful and caring.

We stayed here for a girls weekend away and it was Perfect. Very spacious, relaxing and private. A beautiful outlook when sitting on the deck. The spa is a lovely added bonus which we enjoyed. Natasha is a fab host, great communication and easy to follow instructions. Thank you for sharing this beautiful property. We all had a fab time.

Really good place to stay with attentive and responsive hosts. Location is great being 2 minutes from the beach. Served us really well as we found our feet in the area having recently moved here.

what a place!! the house is far back road and incredibly serene. we came with two young kids and 4 adults and there was heaps to keep us occupied. trip across the estuary with kayaks to these amazing beach breaks a particular highlight. The whole house has something for everyone and honestly think we may be back. Rebecca was also an amazing host and had loads of local knowledge to share.

My friends and I loved staying here! Such a lovely, tidy and cozy place. We are grateful for the incredible communication and clear instructions with how to get there.

Hi Jeanette Thank you for letting us stay at the gorgeous beach house. My family and I really enjoyed our trip despite the bad weather and we would love to return at some point. we had a great stay here for mums 70th with the 4 grandchildren. a large property that felt like home. we enjoyed bennetts and the tavern markets but accidentally went to the wrong sand dunes (thanks to Googlemaps. i should have read Tins local instructions instead). I was pleasantly surprised that there was a double oven. this meant we were able to have dinner in the house on the first night. the girls loved the spa and plentiful toys in their room. the baby had his portacot set up in the walk in wardrobe so he didnt wake the others. mum said it was the best birthday ever. highly likely we will be back next year!

Very private and comfortable, the spa was a lovely bonus. Hosts were very responsive and the stay was enjoyable and easy. 10/10 would recommend.

A welcome place to stay. It was very warm and comfortable with a homely atmosphere. It was wonderful to find unexpected extras; home baking, bowls of fruit etc.

Lovely place! Nice building, chic deciration and everything u need. Morning coffee at yard listening whike birds are singing was absolutely a huge plus to my visit!

Our stay at Tui & Nikau was beautiful. The place is so serene, private, and peaceful, and the accommodation had everything we needed and more. The hosts were super helpful and made the whole experience seamless. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Louise’ place! Unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best, but we had a special movie night in her cozy lounge which was the highlight of the trip! Everything you need is provided, and the space is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We loved the display of local art and the gardens were stunning.

Diane’s place was absolutely lovely! The service was above and beyond, the place was nice and cosy. It was super convenient being right off the highway, but so quiet you couldn’t tell. Beautiful fruit trees on the property. The hosts were available and friendly but also gave us our space.

Beautiful surroundings, great accommodation and very friendly host. They provided some nice little extras, heated towels and farm fresh eggs for breakfast (available when the chickens cooperate).

Bia and Brett provided us with a lovely stay. Proactive communication. It had everything we needed. Great price. Enjoyed a little sunset walk visiting the farm animals.

Linda was friendly, helpful & a great host, allowing us to arrive early on short notice & kindly offering a few extra hours on our last day. We enjoyed the stay very much w the serene private backyard & outdoor bath. Great access to the township & local pub just a stroll out the backgate! Highly recommend!

Sundance Cabin is a in a gorgeous setting, it’s a dreamy hideaway, with lovely folding windows that allows a lovely inside outside flow. The evenings are lush here, tranquil and the fire pit is awesome along with stargazing. Guy was a fantastic host who even dropped around fresh organic fruit from there garden and kindly gave me a flexible check out. Highly recommend guys place for either remote working or holidays.

This place was just amazing! It had so much going for it! And the view is even nicer in person. Sharyn is an awesome host and her love for their alpacas and wanting her guests to enjoy them as well is just fantastic 👏 😀 Definitely get the pizzas when you stay here!! Sharyns home made bases and sauces were very very good and the toppings were all ready to use making it a super quick and easy dinner. The bed was really comfy and the shower was amazing!!! thanks again Sharyn and Greg
