Holiday rentals with lake access in Makarska Riviera

This is by far the nicest place we have stayed in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The beautiful house and gorgeous, serene setting made this a place a dream to relax. And Marko’s hospitality and attention to detail really made this a special getaway vacation. The house was spotless, the pool pristine, and the beds and other furniture were comfy. We really hope we can return soon. We highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our five night stay at Ružica's home! We felt very welcomed on arrival by personal touches from Ružica and her daughter. Our three boys (12, 10 and 4) loved being right next to the water, with the use of a kayak and paddleboard. Spending time on the lake in the morning & evenings made our stay really memorable and relaxing. The apartment has everything you need with special touches such as comfortable beds, dishwasher and lots of toys for the kids. It is quiet, feels away from the main tourist area, is an extremely family- friendly option and a really nice space to come back to at the end of the day. We did day trips to beautiful beaches and also visited Dubrovnik which we highly recommend, even with 3 kids in tow! Thank you again Ružica! Rebecca, David & the boys

Mario and his family are great, warm and welcoming hosts! We felt like at home! The apartment is great, gorgeous terrace behind, unexpected and way much better then in the pictures! All the rest is as described, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Note there are no mosquito nets, get prepared for alternative defense. We would decinitely recommend :) and come back!

Absolutely perfect in every way a stunning place to stay so much space to chill inside and out everything you need is there which is a first for us . And the cleanest place we have stayed too . Unexpected gifts of wine and chocolates and meat and cheese too . We had kayaks so was brilliant to launch them from the one minute walk from the private lake access. Marijana so friendly and professional explained everything in five minutes to us without feeling rushed . This is a genuine honest review and can’t recommend it highly enough . The host was very kind, she gave us all the support we needed. The check-in and check-out process went very easily without encountering any difficulties. The pool was excellent for children, the Makarska Riviera is relatively close, and the beaches indicated in the property description are excellent, I recommend Brela beach. We stayed at 2 villas in this village during our stay and this one was by far the superior. The layout of the house is brilliant and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. We've never had a salt water pool but now like it more than chlorine. The pool is a very good size and the addition of an internal seat/shelf is great for days when you want to sit in the water to cool down. The villa had all the utensils needed for a 2 week stay. The location of the villa is good for visiting many of the areas attractions incline the skywalk, zipline, kayaking, Omis and coastal activities such as boat tours. We highly recommend visiting Bosnia during your stay and the restaurant at Eco Selo Grabovica, the food and view are amazing. Finally, the hosts make this villa the fantastic place it is and place it above others in the area. They genuinely want to ensure your stay is positive and go out of their way to help. Zvonko cooked us the best meal of our whole stay and we recommend this villa to anyone.

Had a wonderful stay at Boris’s apartment… ideal location and so clean

Stjepan (Stipe) was a wonderful host. He arranged airport transfers and was at the property to meet us. We checked in early, which was no problem with Stipe, and he gave us a lift to local supermarket twice during our stay, which saved lugging heavy bags on the bus. Stipe also arranged a great rafting trip, and recommended places to visit and where to eat, all of which were excellent. The property was clean, spacious and fully equipped. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding location, very responsive and friendly host who has genuinely thought of everything a family on vacation away from home might need. Special thanks to the caretaker Ljubo, a genuinely lovely guy and a pleasure to deal with. All in all, a 10 out of 10 experience!

This is one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. Everything was absolutely perfect. Check in was easy as Mira and her son in law greeted us. The place was extremely clean. The bedroom is upstairs with blackout curtains. There are 2 bathrooms downstairs. Bed was comfortable, wifi worked great, we were able to park our car right outside on the driveway. Mira even left food and beverages in the fridge for us. The apartment and kitchen is very well stocked with anything that you would need. We only stayed a few nights but could've easily stayed a month in this place. I would definitely stay here again!

The welcome we received was excellent, our hosts waited for us very late in the evening because of the delay of our plane. The apartment is very clean and well-equipped, the bedding is comfortable and the view of the water is beautiful. Fruit and drinks were waiting for us in the fridge on arrival. We highly recommend this place.

Ljubica’s place was perfect for the 11 of us. Very good communal spaces, especially the outdoor bbq and swimming pool. She was very communicative and responsive throughout the process giving great recommendations. I would highly recommend her place for others to stay!

Another successful stay, we were here two years ago, and let it be the best recompense that we came back again. The place is located halfway from Zlatni rata to the center right next to the beautiful promenade. Everything as described, the place is clean, there is a dishwasher, and many household appliances. Beautiful terrace where we had breakfast. We had a wonderful stay, I highly recommend it.

I had a pleasure of staying at this apartment for a long-term rental during my student exchange. From the very beginning, communication with the host was excellent, he was always very helpful. The apartment itself was exactly as described, it was clean, well-equipped, and in a great location, close to the Žnjan Beach. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a place to stay in Split.

This apartment is large and well appointed. One could stay here easily for a week or more. Loved the location! Roko was an amazing host. We hope to see him again.

Anita"s place is quaint, almost fairytail like. it is surrounded by mountains and beautifull nature. We enjoyed Omis, the coast and the surrounding mountains. The place is prestine. Only thing, if you need the bathroom at nights.....you have to go to different building.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the villa. Just what we were searching for, a haven of tranquility. The hosts were delightful, Razu in particular was extremely helpful throughout the entire stay regarding information and supplied us with an array of fantastic meals. We didn't want for anything. There were plenty of things to see and do within a short car journey. I would wholeheartedly recommend Villa Amphora. As most of the other reviews state, it is a truly unique experience. Regarding the one negative review on the website; all I can say is I really don't understand what they found so disagreeable.

Best Vacation Ever!!!! We were enchanted from the moment we drove up to this Adriatic Treasure! I almost hesitate to describe it for fear that all days will be filled immediately and we won’t have a chance to return soon enough! The white pristine marble walkways and terrace provided access to the cold crystal clear water on three sides. The large outdoor area always provided a place of sun or shade throughout the day. Our grandchildren loved playing on the two paddle boards and exploring the outdoors. The AC inside offered an immediate respite when we stepped inside the cool white interior of the home. A treat of food and beverages awaited to our surprise. Totally unexpected! Marko was the perfect host, offering site recommendations including reservations at the scrumptious Sudvic Restaurant nearby. Seafood plucked right from the waters beside it! We are making plans now to try to return to this amazing magical paradise. You should book your vacation here now! You will not regret it!

Mario and his father are great hosts. They treated us wonderfully and made us feel very comfortable. The house is in perfect condition, has a great pool with constant temperature (28ºC) and has a barbecue, bicycles, etc., ideal for children. It is a fairly well located house to visit Dalmacia Central, in addition, we were lucky enough to be able to see the festivities of SINJ, the Alkar. Highly recommended house.
