Absolutely wonderful stay in a really comfortable flat. Hazel and John were very attentive hosts, and extremely responsive to messages. The flat itself was really comfortably kitted out, with plenty of hot water and high pressure showers/baths, a decently stocked kitchen for self-catering equipment, comfortable beds and pillows (a must!) and a great central location. Only tiny adjustment would have been a decently bright reading light in the living room area, as while the lighting was very comfortably ambient for relaxing it didn’t allow for late-night reading. Overall a truly wonderful stay! Thank you!

Centrally located flat but with a shared courtyard that gave privacy from the public. The flat was warm and very well appointed with a range of amenities. Parking was nearby. A lovely welcome was a bottle of wine and some orkney tablet. A nice touch. Linens were clean, fresh and well presented. Bedrooms were a good size. Small windows gave limited light which was great as you could easily get to sleep.

This is an outstanding accomodation option for a quiet, comfortable and convenient stay in Kirkwall to explore the Orkney Islands from. A home away from home!! Clean, tidy and hosts were so helpful being more than willing to help with any queries at any time. Walking distance to town, peaceful and a beautifully kept garden to enjoy. This was a breath of fresh air in our 2 and half weeks away + 6 different accommodations (in Northumberland/Highlands/Shetland and Orkney). The appartment was light/airey/modern/clean/very well equiped and excellent location. We'd definitely book again.

Warm and comfortable, nicely furnished, spotlessly clean, lovely quiet location. Hosts were flexible and responsive. Great location, about a 5 minute walk to the main sights. Big Tesco and Lidl about a 10 minute walk away. Highly recommended

We cannot recommend the Ticketyboo apartment highly enough. It's modern, well-equipped, very comfortable, perfectly placed within Kirkwall - near the waterfront and High Street - and close to the bus station where there are regular buses to everywhere on Orkney Mainland.

I have lived in this apartment fore three month now, and I have been really happy with everything. The apartment is nicely equipped, and everything is nice and clean. For me is has been then perfect place to relax, after long working days on projects in the local area. The host, Steven, has been a really good host. Whenever there was anything with the apartment, he got it fixed straight away. I can only give Steve and the apartment 5 stars.

Stayed one night to break up a journey along NC500. Lovely accommodation in a spot close to harbour. Our daughter loved the spacious upstairs bedroom area

I spent two nights at Ruth’s lovely apartment as a solo traveler. It has an idyllic beachfront location and is a great base for exploring the area. The apartment is very comfortable and I slept very well. Lovely views from the dining table.

We had a wonderful stay, the design of the pod is very modern and well thought through, the bed was super comfortable, we had everything we needed to cook meals and the location is amazing! We were lucky with the weather and could watch the stars from hot tub. Everything was absolutely perfect!

Wonderfully light and comfortable accomodation in excellent position.Allocated parking was marvellous. Flat 8 on 3 floor which was good exercise after a meal out or a day walking on the island. Tesco superstore within 10 minutes walk . I highly recommend this accommodation .

we loved every second of our stay and could’ve definitely stayed for longer. a true gem and amazing value for money. the photos don’t do it justice! the area is stunning and ideal if you are looking to spend some time outdoors surrounded by beautiful landscapes and beaches.

A great place to stay, the apartment is very modern, clean and very warm. There is plenty of allocated parking and is close to all amenities. This is my second stay here and would book again for my next visit.

Easy to get to everywhere from here and lovely local dog walks just across the road. This place is wonderful for dogs, even a nice spot for their beds in the utility room. Bert greeted us with a wonderful platter of cheese and biscuits and lovely fresh flowers, so kind.

Great accommodation, just as described, in a lovely rural location on a farm. it is in easy walking or cycling distance to the town.

The host was helpful, and the location was perfect for my colleague, making travel to and from work very convenient. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a pleasant stay.

The apartment was of a really high standard. It was in a fantastic position in the middle of Kirkwall near the Cathedral and was very easy to find. There was parking on site. Tea, Coffee, milk, biscuits and a local newspaper were provided. This made us feel at home immediately. We had a couple of minor queries to which we received quick responses. I would thoroughly recommend this property to anybody looking to visit Orkney
