House holiday rentals in Mahebourg

Thanks to Julie for hosting us and for her advice. We had a very good week in this accommodation, with every comfort. Thanks also to the owners Dominique and Michel for their hospitality. The place is perfect for a family stay. Spacious, quiet and close to nature. If we had to note a negative point, it is the fact that the house is far from the center, you must have a car to go shopping or go to the restaurant. It's an address we'll keep if we return to Mauritius. Anaïs,Sylvain and Isaiah

Michel is a pleasant, discreet and helpful host, very responsive and gives good advice. He booked all our excursions, including the restaurant, taxi, and rental car. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and exactly matches the description. I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the great stay at your house. We had a great time! Location is unbeatable! Amazing views of the Indian Ocean. A private small beach is also part of the house. Pool was cleaned daily as well as the house. Very friendly welcome by Davina. Which was always available to us during the stay if you had any questions. She always responded very quickly. Also the guard of the property was very helpful and went shopping with us on the first day by car. We did not have our own car but were super looked after by the Nazim and his drivers. Finally had the same taxi driver (Nawfar) during our stay that we highly recommend. The excursions with him were great! He showed us many beautiful places and was available to us all day if we wished. So there is also no need to have your own car. A local supermarket is also within walking distance.

We had a dreamy week at this beautiful home with a breathtaking view. The house is carefully decorated and comfortable and bright. The pool is amazing! We loved it! And the owner is very responsive and pleasant. We'll definitely be back.

The Place was amazing, it was clean and beautiful just like the pictures. We enjoyed our time there and liked the privacy we had there. Also our host Julie was great, she gave us recommendation for restaurants in the area,also she was very helpful and responsive for our check in and during our stay.

We were welcomed into the home on our arrival with great communication. The property is located in a very secure gated community with guards. The property was spotless and maintained to a high standard. It felt very homely and we enjoyed all the amenities, especially the pool and living areas. All the rooms had both AC and a ceiling fan with remote control setting which was very convenient. The location was great for us to get to a few of our adventures which I clouded casella nature park and tamarin falls. Also only 7min drive to flic en flac with numerous restaurants. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit mauritius. Also had a lovely view from the terrace!

Even before arriving in Mauritius, Caroline was very available. We immediately felt his kindness, his gentleness to our children and his hospitality. A pleasure to have had the opportunity to discover his accommodation as well as his cooking skills since we were able to taste a local dish made by him. Everything is planned for a great stay. We would definitely recommend this place. A BIG thank you again!! We do not plan to return to Mauritius in the months/years that arrive however we keep the address precious, we never know!!

What a lovely, peaceful, rustic spot! We enjoyed the quiet of the garden and playing in the little pool. This place is very private and comfortable, which is exactly what we were looking for. You need a car to get around and should plan to bring in what you need as it's simply appointed, but we felt happy and safe with our toddler and thought it was a great central location to explore Tamarin, Flic en Flac, and surrounds. Benedicte is very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed thoroughly and were sad to leave!

Sheila was an exceptional host, friendly, always responsive to calls/texts and even went above and beyond to assist us during our stay (especially with her family for airport runs and car rental!!) Our lengthy stay was a home from home! We couldn’t thank her enough 🙏🏽 The place is a nice, big spacious apartment in the heart of rural Mauritius, small local shops close by - be prepared for some bugs in the evening, but friendly (and shy!) geckos, who actually help eat the bugs! Belle Mare beach (one of the best on the island) only 10 minutes away by car. La Riviere restaurant was also recommended by Shelia and is must to eat at, no need to make a reservation, you can just turn up! On our last day we also visited an island called Ile Aux Cerf which was a short drive and then boat ride away! Shelia also provided us with basic essentials: water, juice, sugar, cutlery, cleaning products and household basics. On top of all that she also provided a very useful welcome guide. Overall 10/

We had a wonderful time staying at Sarespadee's home in Pointe aux Sables. The house is very spacious, spotless, and well maintained. Sarespadee is a generous and thoughtful host—she arranged a desk when we requested one, and also provided a crib and high chair for our baby. The beds are large and extremely comfortable, and she was always helpful and responsive throughout our stay. The neighborhood felt very safe and peaceful. I felt completely comfortable strolling around with my baby. It's about a 10-minute walk to London Way, the local grocery store, and about a 5-minute walk to the 51 bus stop, which has frequent buses into Port Louis (30-40 min ride). From there, you can easily transfer to buses going across the island. That said, it's preferable to have a vehicle, especially if you plan to explore more of the island or eat out regularly. The area isn’t very touristy and doesn’t have many nearby restaurants, but we enjoyed several in Albion, which is a short drive away.

We had a wonderful stay at the lovely house. The location is superb, so is the garden.

We were guests at Christine's Airbnb for the second time. The Airbnb was cleaned daily, the beds freshly made. They put a lot of effort into making the guest have a pleasant time. The location of the Airbnb is super located to walk to restaurants or to shop for small things. We enjoyed the week very much and would book it again.

We had a wonderful time here. Julien’s communication was perfect, he couldn’t have been more helpful with information about the house and any questions we had whilst we were there. The beach by the house was lovely for walking and watching the sunset then we used the house as a base to visit the beaches further up the coast which were only about 25mins drive. Recommended 👍

Wow, our stay at Albion was nothing short of amazing! We truly felt at home. Alex and Marie-France were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and communicated well throughout our stay. The place itself was spotless with beautiful finishes and had all the amenities we needed. They were super responsive to any questions we had about the area or the home. Highly recommend their place—and them as hosts!

Very nice people, always ready to help. Excellent place to spend one night before or after a flight. But be beware quiet it is not. The dogs were barking till 2 am.

We stayed for 5 days in Alain's beautiful house which received us in a very friendly way, he is available and responsive, it's perfect. The house is modern, very nice, beautifully decorated and of rare cleanliness. Nothing is missing, even beach towels are provided, and fruits and drinks are offered upon arrival. The bedding is extremely comfortable. Clyvie, the housekeeper is kind, discreet and efficient, and the generous dishes she cooks on demand are a really nice plus. The whole family recommends 100%!

Big house, brand new during our visit. Functional and good location. Emile available and welcoming. A few points of vigilance: The house is located in a subdivision under construction. We did not have any disturbances with work during our stay but it will not necessarily be cases all the time given the construction in progress or to come. Bigger downside, dogs in the residence, regular barking including at night Essential car. The subdivision is secure and guarded. It's reassuring because you feel a little secluded.

The promise has been fully kept! The house is very clean, welcoming and you immediately feel at home. The environment is quiet, ideal for relaxation. The host was extremely responsive, reassuring and very cooperative, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

The apartment is very nice and spacious, with top amenities – there is really nothing missing! Air conditioning and fans work perfectly, which is very pleasant in this climate. A small minus point is the very narrow driveway into the yard, which requires some skill. As already known in advance, there is no direct access to the sea – however, the water is there, which occasionally leads to an unpleasant smell. Despite these little things, we can recommend the apartment with a clear conscience!

House is absolutely stunning. Very well equipped kitchen, master bedroom is huge with breathtaking views. There are 4 bedrooms in the house, all with private bathrooms. The pool and deck were fantastic. It was so nice to sit there and just look at the ocean! The property is located approx. 10 min walk (2 min drive) from the main street and the beach. A shopping center with a grocery store is also super close. Athalie was very nice, super flexible and helpful. She gave us a detailed tour of the house. It was really nice to meet her. The only thing that was a problem and may be a problem in the future is the roof over the staricase. It is made of glass and unfortunately leaks when it rains. Since the leak was quite big and required a lot of work and effort from us to keep the house dry, we assume that it would probably be fixed very soon, so it may not be a problem anymore.

Beautiful house in a great location. Its clear thought has been put into the guest experience. Everything was very clean and the location was unbeatable. Maids were kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice place to stay even with kids. Alao for longer period. Ashley has everything needed for a comfortable ata and the parents of ashley who wecomed us are sweet people.
