House holiday rentals in Mauritius

Thanks to Julie for hosting us and for her advice. We had a very good week in this accommodation, with every comfort. Thanks also to the owners Dominique and Michel for their hospitality. The place is perfect for a family stay. Spacious, quiet and close to nature. If we had to note a negative point, it is the fact that the house is far from the center, you must have a car to go shopping or go to the restaurant. It's a beautiful place, calm, serene & peaceful. The villa is rustic with beautiful corners & paintings adorning its walls. It's is close by to everything including the airport. There is a detailed guidebook curated by the hosts. And there is a little corner for books.

Arnaud was always ready to support and help. The villa is very comfortable. Thank you for the nice holiday.

Imagine yourself on a comfortable sofa on a huge veranda surrounded by tropical vegetation. There is a blue clean pool with crystal clear water nearby. There is silence and peace all around (except for a small lizard and birds singing). In the evening, all this is illuminated, as in a fairy tale. The veranda is the heart of a cozy house - it is good to have breakfast in the morning and quietly read in the evening. The house is beautiful - small and cozy. There is everything you need. The hostess (Julie) is very hospitable and friendly. And yes, it is highly desirable, almost vital, to rent a car in Mauritius.

The place was very good, clean, comfortable and as described. The location is ideal, close to everything. Chaima was very responsive and really kind, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend it! Thank you Chaima!!

What a lovely, peaceful, rustic spot! We enjoyed the quiet of the garden and playing in the little pool. This place is very private and comfortable, which is exactly what we were looking for. You need a car to get around and should plan to bring in what you need as it's simply appointed, but we felt happy and safe with our toddler and thought it was a great central location to explore Tamarin, Flic en Flac, and surrounds. Benedicte is very helpful and responsive. We enjoyed thoroughly and were sad to leave!

We had a great time at this beautiful private villa. It feels like home, everything is there, nothing is missing. Zaïd is a kindness, very responsive and available if necessary. The villa is very nicely decorated, the pool not overlooked is a plus! We would definitely recommend it!

The host was helpful, kind, generous and friendly. From arranging a car, arranging a meal , making restaurant reservation for us to giving help and advice on local attractions. We were well supplied with lovely fruits from her garden. The property was as described, clean and with a great view from a large terrace that can be closed off at night or in bad weather. Highly recommended.

The small cottage of Jf and Kareen more than convinced us with its very own charm, a great layout and its optimal location. It was clean, neat and lovingly furnished. The hosts didn't promise too much, were themselves very friendly, courteous and always available for questions. Would recommend this place with a clear conscience at any time 😊

The house and location were even better than the photos and the kindness afforded by the nearby family and the housekeeping team was fabulous. I will miss looking up at Le Morne from the pool 💔 but we will be back! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home.

We had a great time. The location is perfect 5 minutes walk to the very peaceful beach and beautiful esny beach and 1 min drive to beautiful Blue Bay beach. The space was perfect. The terrace and garden are very nice. We really enjoyed the discreet and very warm presence of Shirnie the person who takes care of the house. We warmly recommend Natasha Waka Lodge!

A haven of peace in a very beautiful villa that is both very functional and tastefully decorated. We had a wonderful time here. Julien’s communication was perfect, he couldn’t have been more helpful with information about the house and any questions we had whilst we were there. The beach by the house was lovely for walking and watching the sunset then we used the house as a base to visit the beaches further up the coast which were only about 25mins drive. Recommended 👍

Wow, our stay at Albion was nothing short of amazing! We truly felt at home. Alex and Marie-France were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and communicated well throughout our stay. The place itself was spotless with beautiful finishes and had all the amenities we needed. They were super responsive to any questions we had about the area or the home. Highly recommend their place—and them as hosts!

Here's a rewrite of your text: We had an exceptional stay of more than two weeks with our two children (1 year and 4 years). Amreen is an extremely warm and welcoming person. She made our stay as simple and enjoyable as possible. Whenever we needed help, his responses were quick and effective. We were confined in the apartment for a day or two because of the cyclone, but the quality of the accommodation, including the pool, allowed us to enjoy anyway. Amreen was very thoughtful and cared for our well-being throughout this situation. I highly recommend this listing 100%. It offers ample space, functional air conditioning, and most importantly, a splendid view of the ocean. Thank you so much!

We stayed two nights in Marie Natasha's lovely house. It is spacious and spotless, with lovely terraces to enjoy the views and great aircon to keep cool at night. Handy for the local beaches and walks along the coast to Anse Bouteille etc, with a small restaurant and supermarket just down the road. Marie Natasha was a great host, very responsive and helpful. Recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at the lovely house. The location is superb, so is the garden.

The place is clean and well located. It does not have a TV so that was the one drawback for the evenings.

Nazia's property was truly amazing. It was equipped with everything you'd ever need, and felt so comfortable. As for Nazia, she was always just a phone call away, and kept us informed as to where all the local restaurant's were, and many more things to do around the island. Fezal and Fatima, were locally on hand to assist us also, so a big thank you to them also, much appreciated to you all 😊

Michel is an adorable host, always attentive and very responsive. He was able to offer us and recommend super cool activities We really enjoyed staying in his house, very comfortable with a breathtaking view of the sea, in a quiet area. very nice terraces, garden and pool available very nice. We would absolutely recommend!!! Thank you again very much to Michel

House is absolutely stunning. Very well equipped kitchen, master bedroom is huge with breathtaking views. There are 4 bedrooms in the house, all with private bathrooms. The pool and deck were fantastic. It was so nice to sit there and just look at the ocean! The property is located approx. 10 min walk (2 min drive) from the main street and the beach. A shopping center with a grocery store is also super close. Athalie was very nice, super flexible and helpful. She gave us a detailed tour of the house. It was really nice to meet her. The only thing that was a problem and may be a problem in the future is the roof over the staricase. It is made of glass and unfortunately leaks when it rains. Since the leak was quite big and required a lot of work and effort from us to keep the house dry, we assume that it would probably be fixed very soon, so it may not be a problem anymore.

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.
