Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Mahdia

Stayed a week and it went mostly well - I had a couple issues that Oussema was able to quickly solve or advise me on. One was that it was a bit tricky getting hot water from the shower, but he let me know what to try to fix it. The only problem I had that couldn't be quickly adjusted was that the neighborhood was a bit noisy, but some of that was probably temporary (sounded like some renovation was going on). I wouldn't have spent as much time in the apartment to notice if the weather hadn't turned out to be a bit cold and rainy, so ultimately wouldn't be a big deal for most travelers. The neighborhood has a number of solid restaurants and grocery stores within 5-10 minutes and is otherwise close to a major street with lots of options. It is a bit far from the Sousse Medina, but it's about a 5-6 dinar taxi ride to get there (e.g. the Ribat) which is not bad at all.

We had a good time at Olfa's place. He was kind enough to pick us up at the Louage Station so getting to the apartment was a breeze. When we arrived he gave us a brief tour and left us with a nice plate of fruit. :-) Everything about our stay was fine and matched our expectations for an AirBnB in Tunisia. The WiFi and the A/C worked and we even had water 24/7, which is not always a given in Tunisia! Olfa was very responsive whenever we had any questions. The neighborhood is not all that exciting, but you can certainly find bakeries, cafés, shops, (small) supermarkets, and restaurants in the area and you can easily walk to some nearby beaches.

A place that aspires to tranquility was at rest. A few cables from a beautiful beach with turquoise waters, the house offers calm and remains conducive to rest. Our hosts were very responsive and attentive. We will come back!

Alouane's house is a beautiful traditional house, perfect for breathing in the typical Tunisian atmosphere: around a central patio, where you can relax, the living room and the large rooms, each with bathroom. Very close to the beautiful sea of Madhia, it was the perfect location for our large family.

Excellent communication with the host. We were always asked about our well-being and tips for restaurants and the like were also given. Clean apartment and great stay. Some restaurants and cafes are within walking distance. Bus stop practically outside the door. The only negative point is unfortunately the nearby beach, which stinks of sewage and unfortunately is also very dirty, which is typical for Tunisia.

We spent one night there. The location is very central, especially in the evening if you want to walk around. The tourist area is easily accessible with a taxi. The apartment is well suited to spend a few days. We thank Zizou for her kindness and availability.

We only stayed one night, but the apartment was great for our purposes, and was clean and comfortable. It is right on the beach in an area that is still being developed. Communication and assistandlce fron Ahmed was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The villa is very spacious and pleasant within walking distance of the beach … Fully furnished villa with care, swimming pool maintained every day, nothing is missing for a pleasant stay. Thanks to Ramzi for that kindness and always available, I recommend

2-week stays in the apartment. beautiful residence and beautiful apartment that matches the photos. Clean residence and several swimming pools for adults and children. Pool open until very late at night and a restaurant too. A small park for children in the much appreciated residence Some inconveniences during the stay which were quickly resolved very fortunately. We spent a week at Catherine's place and the accommodation is totally as advertised. The interior is a little old-fashioned in its style but we didn't mind, on the contrary, we felt like we were on vacation in a family home. Everything is very spacious, the kitchen well equipped to cook small dishes "like at home". Special mention for the garden where we enjoyed having our breakfasts amidst the beautiful lemon trees. The location is on a quiet street but very convenient to have nearby bakery, grocery stores and en primeurs and just a little far from a creamery with very good cheese. The sea is just 15 minutes' walk away with pretty spots to discover, wilder than getting closer to the center of Monastir. If you are looking for a quiet place to spend time living at the Tunisian rhythm this is the right place, what's more with a very good value for money. Mehdi was there when we needed it.

The villa was more than what we expected! Personally , we were several members of the same family to stay there, so there were enough beds for each , huge rooms and rooms. The equipped kitchen is very large and beautiful . The pool and garden very well maintained and especially peaceful place where it's good to rest; Too bad we couldn't enjoy the pool this season!!! Hamdouch was very kind and helpful! Always attentive and available!!! We hope to repeat the experience as soon as possible because we had an extraordinary stay! Tunisians are exceptionally benevolent and kind!!!

The apartment was perfect, clean, quiet. A small park just downstairs that delighted my son. The pools were not functional but out of time so normal. We had a great time in Avignon! Provide a car because not much nearby but it allows you to be quiet. Thank you for everything! An address we keep 😁

Great stay at Walid's, the apartment looks like the photos, very tidy and especially spacious and very well located. Walid is really friendly and accommodating, we asked to leave a little later, he agreed:) I recommend this host and we plan to come back next summer 😊

Very nice stay, we will be coming back:) Just 2 notes: Maintenance of air conditioners cleaning filters and indoor units due to signs of mold. Change the fridge which is too small, it works but the fridge was without door and generates ice which makes the fridge space still minimal.

I recommend it 100%, we spent 11 exceptional days in this beautiful apartment, clean, spacious with all the comforts. Mohamed and his father were very kind and helpful. Mohamed is a serious and very responsive host. The terrace is beautiful with an amazing view. Shops nearby, in short, great!
