We just got back from our stay at Susan’s cabin this weekend and oh. My. GOODNESS! The location is absolutely breathtaking, beautiful and spacious cabin (two king beds being a major plus), family/kid friendly with games and baby gear like a high chair and a baby gate which came in handy for our 11 month old! We spent so much time outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed fishing in the pond out front! I cannot recommend this place enough. They are quick to respond to any messages and all of the instructions for everything are super clear. Susan and her husband were so kind and accommodating, they even gave us a ton of fresh eggs from their chickens which was incredible! Seriously, if you’re considering booking this stay, DO IT!

We loved staying here and it was the perfect location for our family Easter! I truly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the owners! It was very clean and well appointed with anything you need and the owners were very accommodating and kind! They helped with a couple requests, including a pack and play and high chair. We were able to cook a large Easter dinner with the stocked kitchen appliances and cookware. The property is very serene with plenty of privacy and great options for hiking around. The location is also not too far to get to the grocery store and restaurants. Lastly, the pool table and hot tub were a hit! We highly recommend to stay here and know we will definitely be back for another stay!

You have a beautiful place!😍 We were in great need of a getaway!! We didn’t explore Madison too much, but appreciated the brochures that were there for recommendations. We just needed a quiet & peaceful place to be together to rest, relax, & rejuvenate. Thanks for all the extras you did to make our stay a great one!!❤️

What a great getaway! Our son experienced his first time fishing (and catching!) and what a great place to make those memories. It was a quick hour drive to Noahs Ark. The hot tub was squeaky clean and the sunrises and sunsets were spectacular.

Wow! An amazing cabin in a beautiful setting. Rustic luxury. We can't wait to book a return visit. The cabin was beautifully decorated with a high attention to detail. The hosts were accommodating, and communicated clearly.

We LOVED staying at the cabin! It was beautiful and exactly like the listing stated! Loved the fresh eggs and the goats! The cabin is charming with a heartwarming story! Definitely will stay there again if we are ever back in the area!!

My 3 friends and I stayed in this property for 3 nights when on a golf trip to Indiana north of Louisville. The property was immaculate, very clean and well appointed. There was plenty of dish ware, silverware and cooking utensils. Bedrooms were also in great condition and very clean. There were more than enough available activities (games, DVD’s, ping pong, etc.) to keep a family entertained for several weeks. An amazing deck with a gas fire pit and a hot tub overlooking a wooded area with a stream was very peaceful and relaxing. There were detailed instructions for using all the available amenities, including the TV and cable (which we didn’t find until the day we left which was our bad). There were even golf tees sitting out with a note to enjoy our golf trip. I could not imagine a better place to stay or a more welcoming host. THANK YOU

Thank you for your hospitality. Beautiful place. Outside temps were in single digits. Main heater had a hard time keeping up. We were provided additional heaters and wood to combat the extreme cold. They made sure we had plenty of propane for the grill that we used for every meal. Their hospitality even extended after our initial stay. We encountered an emergency a couple days prior to our departure. They ensured we did not have to worry about finding lodging so that we could focus on a remedy to our situation. If we are in the area again this will be the first place we search for open accommodations. Thank you.

The cabin was just like the description. It was very clean and it felt just like home. It was so peaceful and quiet. I had a very nice stay with my family.

Super clean cabin. Host was very responsive. Wonderfully private and quiet setting. Kitchen was fully stocked with the cooking appliances we needed. We had our 16 month old grandson with us and really appreciated having a high chair, portacrib and baby gate on site so we didn’t have to haul those items. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this Airbnb again!

We had an amazing stay here. There were a few issues in the beginning but they were responsive and resolved it all so we could enjoy our weekend. The views are amazing and it was so peaceful.

Our stay was so great, Carol's cabin was so amazing and peaceful just what we needed. John was very kind and quick to resond with any questions, letting us bring our little john boat for the grandkids to paddle around the pond, in which they loved. Check in and check out was easy with clear instructions and when we entered the cabin it was so clean with the perfect amount of decor that wasn't too much for our grandkids, (ages 6 and 2 aka sticky fingers). I just wish we would have had cash as to leave a tip for the cleaner because it couldn't have been any better. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the cooking supplies you would need and I was so grateful for the filtered water container in the refrigerator as we packed in our groceries and realizing I forgot our case of water, this was a life saver. The wood provided for the firepit was also so generous and the trail to the pond and walking in the woods was well maintained.

We had a wonderful time at Lisa’s lake house. There was so much to do which she provided - boats, movies, yoga mats, swings and more. There was a slight electrical problem initially but Lisa was quick to fix it and that’s the most important thing in my opinion about an AirBnb host. Highly recommend this home! The only issue we had was finding it as my GPS only took us to the beginning of the road. Sues restaurant is also worth it!

This was such a quaint cabin. Really beautiful and we really enjoyed the peacefulness. He is a great host. Nice snacks, very quick to respond. Michael took great care of us, we ran out of propane for cooking and he made sure we had more in a very reasonable amount of time. It was a great adventure and Michael made it a good one! Thank you.

I’m on a job working at LGE, this cabin was very convenient for that purpose. The area was very quiet, even though it’s off a main road. The cabin itself is very cozy. The bedroom and bathroom are in the same room. Also there is no washer/dryer, but Lucas noted it was ordered and will be installed in the near future. The space has a unique vibe. If you’re a fan of spooking yourself out you can easily do that here. You can tell the host loves horror picture films and has some antique furnishings placed neatly across the cabin. I recommend this cabin rental for a couple who want to escape the hustle & bustle of the city and have some peace in the woods. Thanks Lucas !

We loved our stay at Molly‘s place. Very clean and had amenities of sugar, flour, coffee, creamer, supplies of toothbrushes, etc in case you forgot something. The beds were very comfortable. Our favorite was the long porch where we sat evenings in the swing, rocker or other outdoor furniture telling stories and making memories. Was able to see the “strawberry moon”. The Creation Museum is very close. The only downside of this property was the difficulty for anyone with mobility issues to get into otherwise it is a charming property.

Angela’s place was the perfect getaway, and just what we were hoping for! It was a great location between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum and so peaceful! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the river/boats. My kiddos favorite part was when Smokey and Bandit would come visit us on the porch. They were very friendly, sweet cats. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable! We would definitely recommend, and hope to be back someday!

The cabin was the perfect spot to spend NYE. The house was beautifully furnished and brand new! The host was so accommodating, even making sure the heat was turned on and place was cozy before we arrived. I can’t wait to book this place again in the spring/summer!

The Rustic Cabin is great spot for a long weekend getaway. It's secluded enough that you can enjoy the peace and quiet, but you don't have to travel too far to find restaurants, shopping, etc. Dan was a great host and was always quick to respond to what few questions we had. It was the perfect place to chill out and unwind for a few days.

The cabin and property were absolutely breathtaking! The cabin wood work was amazing. Colleen made it a point to welcome me to the property and took the time to chat, show me around, and offered to help with any additional needs I might have. Aside from being able to actually meet and visit with Colleen, the porches and porch swings were probably my favorite part. Can't wait to come back next year!

Our drive ended up being longer than we expected, but Matt was so accommodating for our later check in. The rainy weather was perfect to have a cozy cabin to relax, reset, and recharge even if it was only for the weekend.
