House holiday rentals in Maccagno, Maccagno con Pino e Veddasca

We stayed for my sisters bachelorette weekend and it was amazing. Perfect for 6 girls to relax, the pool with its view is a 10/10. The kitchen was fully equipped. Hannes was a great host making sure we had all information we needed. Definitely coming back again. My recommendation: pack light and in smaller bags, you have some steps to the house. 😅

Fantastic location with a view over the Largo. The terrace and the pool are really very nice. The apartment was spacious for 4 adults and 2 children. There are 2 excellent restaurants a short distance away. We liked the quiet location very much, the only negative was the neighbor's dogs. Unfortunately, these were often loud at night.

We spent very nice and relaxing days in Casa Medusa. Hostess Giada was extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodation was very clean, the furnishings very nice and you felt very comfortable very quickly. We will be happy to come back!

Great location, great house, great amenities. We enjoyed it very much all around! With five people, it can get a bit tight, so you should adjust to that. But it didn't bother us as a group of friends at all. We'd love to come back!

Access on the day of arrival was super uncomplicated and very easy. Then take the elevator directly to the terrace and therefore absolutely no tinkering when lugging suitcases. The view is out of this world! Such a panoramic view is very rare on Lake Maggiore. That alone is worth the money! The place was very clean, from linens, kitchen to bathrooms, all tiptpop! A heated pool with also fantastic views of the Lago and Isola Brissago... Just a dream... We will definitely be back....

We enjoyed it very much. Have already stayed in several vacation homes and Monika's house is actually also the best in comparison. The location is quiet and you are very private, but the whole thing is topped with the fantastic panoramic view of the lagoon. The house with pool and garden invites you to stay permanently and offers children many play opportunities.

A great place to relax in peace (!). The view from the balcony is wonderful, the location is great for countless hiking tours, and the rustic is functionally furnished.

Thanks to Cristian and Laura for hosting us. I highly recommend staying in their apartment, everything was perfect, the exchanges, availability, recommendations... The place is really cute, in a quiet and quaint alley. We are both isolated and at the same time there is everything you need nearby: walking trails, shops, restaurants, bar. The accommodation is large, it feels good, and there is a small private terrace for an aperitif:)

We went as a couple and the house was simply spectacular, ideal for a romantic getaway. It exceeded all our expectations. Each corner is thought out with a lot of detail and affection, and that can be seen from the first moment. The environment is wonderful, perfect to rest and enjoy nature. We felt very comfortable throughout your stay. We highly recommend it!

Ana's and Carlos' apartment in Vira is absolutely wonderful! Probably the best we have experienced so far on Airbnb. All seemed new, super well maintained, looked brand new, super clean, almost like we were the first ones ever staying there. The design of the apartment and the attention to detail of the host is something I never experienced on this level. The price, considering we are talking about Switzerland, was also very good. The location is also perfect, in the old center of the village of Vira surrounded by old stone houses, near the lake. When you open the window in the master bedroom in the morning, you are greeted with the marvellous view of the old church, the old village houses, the lake and the mountains towards Locarno (and you can get to Locarno by boat in 20 min). If we will be back in the area of Locarno, this is the place we will try to stay at, for sure!

It was a great stay, we had a nice time. It had everything we needed. The place is super small, there is a great bar with great views, a restaurant and the hiking trails, to cannobio it is a 40 min walk

Could not have asked for a better place to stay! The view was stunning, the neighbors were so friendly and sweet, the home itself was perfect and had everything we needed, and there was so much to do in the local area. Will definitely be recommending in the future!!

Sandra is a very friendly and helpful landlady. The apartment is decorated with a lot of love and my husband, I and our dog felt completely comfortable. The view from the terrace and sofa is unique and the kitchen has everything you could want. A dream apartment. This was a lovely holiday here and Adriana was friendly and helpful even though English was not one of her languages. Clean and very comfortable accommodation- upstairs and down. Not a lot of room in main bedroom. Great bathroom and very easy to use kitchen . Coffee, jam, milk and crackers all provided . As we came from Australia ( most guests were from switzerland) we were unaware of local restaurants recommended and where to get groceries locally; so perhaps written instructions could be done for future guests. There is a little lack of privacy near the bathroom to the bedroom and perhaps lack of privacy near the door and in the lounge room. Great stay for seven days and highly recommended.

It is a wonderful quiet and private house on the edge of the village of Palanzo overlooking the lake and mountains. The two large windows overlook the lush green terraces opposite. The qualities of the location and the old small house were redesigned with great skill into a harmonious whole. We felt very, very comfortable here. Thank you for the warm welcome and the tips. Caroline's home was a wonderful fit for our family of five (2 adults, 3 kids). We found it spacious, practical, and very convenient. The kids especially loved the amazing garden, where we enjoyed many meals in the lovely weather. Caroline was also super responsive and friendly, and she was very flexible with our check-in and check-out, which was a great bonus. The frequent public transport on lines 7 and 1 made exploring the area easy.

It was just great! The location is a bit off the beaten path, but with a great view of the lake, this doesn't matter. The house was very clean and perfectly suitable.😀 Gladly again, thank you!
