Holiday rentals with a kayak in Luzerne County

We had such a relaxing summer stay with fun activities inside the home and outside as well! The club passes were a bonus to enjoy a number of water activities like kayaks and boating, but we enjoyed the outdoor pool, bocce, and volleyball. Great place for a vacation!

Great lake house for gatherings of friends and family. The additional rental of the boat was great since there were several older family members. Relaxing and peaceful location in the Poconos.

My family and I had such a great time! The house was beautiful and the location was so peaceful. Robert was an amazing host and provided so many recommendations. He was so responsive to any questions and concerns we had. We will definitely be back!

We can’t say enough good things about Elizabeth and Donovan’s place. Not only was everything exactly as described, clean, and comfortable, but they were the most responsive and proactive hosts. I’m very familiar with the community, having lived just a few doors down growing up and knowing the former owners of their home, so to say this was the perfect respite for my family and I is an understatement. We are already planning to return next year — we love the community and its proximity to everything in both Jim Thorpe and the general Pocono area. Their home felt like our home and we can’t thank them enough for sharing their space with us.

Hope and Terry were great hosts and the place was perfect. It is right on the lake and it is obvious how much they love this home because the attention to detail is beyond compare. Top notch in every category. If they would have us we would love to rent this beautiful lake home again in the future.

I really don’t think the description gives this location, It’s due credit. First, the host was very responsive and was very welcoming and helpful. Secondly, the house was absolutely beautiful with lots of space for a family. The outside had everything you need to stay in the house, but if you didn’t, please refer to the book as all the referred locations were a hit no matter the age . As well as the recommendation for food. If you are looking for a peaceful family environment with friendly neighbors, and lots of water activities this house is for you. I really believe this is one of the best place we stayed at thus far with so many things for families. Thank you to Mr. David The host who was beyond helpful, from beginning to end and did not hesitate to communicate and respond a reasonable time.

Great stay at Katie's place. The weather wasn't perfect, but we were still able to get some great kayaking time on the sizable lake, grill and make a bonfire. Just a 10 minute drive away we found an amazing hike and view at Tank Hollow as well as the historical town of Jim Thorpe which we were quite impressed by. It was a great property to call home for a small reunion of friends looking for a convenient escape from the city.

This place is a lovely hidden gem. The waves around it are beautiful. We sat on the porch and watch the hummingbirds zoom by all afternoon. There’s a lovely outdoor fireplace. Our room was beautiful. I would definitely come here again.

My partner and I stayed Memorial Day weekend and it was our most incredibly memorable one to date (haha). Claytonna was incredbily kind and thoughtful of our arrival time and of our needs. The bedding and pillows were the most luxorious things I have ever slept on and in, in a very long time and left wanting to take one home with me. Breakfast was always an affair of conversation and liveliness that helped us get started on our day. We booked this for its location near Rickett's Glenn park as we were interested in taking some hikes there, Claytonna gave us great insight into what to take, weather and best times to go! We will definitely consider staying here again and will be recommending it to all our family and friends!

Had a great but to short weekend at the lake house. Had a small bachelor party weekend with just the boys and 2 15yr Olds. When we got there the paddle boat was not in working condition. Ray sent maintenance right out and took care of it. all in all we had a blast must of caught 40+ bass 20 huge sunfish 1 catfish and 1 perch. The place is pretty awesome

Beautiful hidden getaway that provides so much history within the buildings and updated with such incredible art provided by Doug and Lisa that gives the place amazing stories to tell. Amazing hosts that have provided us with excellent hospitality. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to coming back!

Had a wonderful 2-night stay this past weekend. The location is set back in the woods with a stream backed up against the rear of the property. The cabin was well appointed and very cozy. It was so peaceful and the sound of the stream just added to a sense of serenity. Very comfortable beds and we loved the aesthetic of everything, both inside and outside. I can’t wait to return!

We really enjoyed our long weekend at the Chipmunk cottage. Beautiful hike at Hickory Run State Park, biking in the Le High valley, kayaking on the lake, and just taking it easy at the cottage. Our favorite room is definitely the sun room with direct view on the lake.

My girlfriends, dogs, and I stayed here this past weekend and I can’t get over how great of an experience we had. Lori & James were extremely responsive and kind (especially given that we accidentally broke a couple things in the cabin). They were so sweet and the cabin and surroundings were just what we needed for a girls weekend away. As young girls we also felt so safe in the area and in James and Lori’s hands lol. We’ll definitely be coming back! Truly cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Frog Pong Cabin :)

We loved our stay! The cabin was peaceful, clean, and cozy—perfect for a relaxing mother-daughter getaway. Great location near Jim Thorpe with easy access to shops, trails, and restaurants. We saw a mama bear and four cubs our first night—such a wild, unforgettable experience! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature.

I had an amazing stay at Asael’s cabine. My friends and I stayed there for 2 nights and we felt at home. It was a great opportunity for us to bond, relax, cook, play games and go on a few hikes in nature. The fire place outside was really great and they had many games available for us to play. It felt like a little retreat getaway in nature and I would love to come back if I’m in the area again as it was very peaceful and exactly what I needed. I definitely recommend this place and Asael was an amazing host and very responsive! Thank you so much!

Amazing location close to the lake and in the woods, beautiful cabin and loved waking up to see the woods through the windows and balcony in the bedroom. Excellent kitchen and fireplaces. The backyard space seems to be under renovation, we didn’t need it due to it raining a lot, but it would require some work if we had wanted to use it. It might just be due to the summer season just starting though. Nothing came up that required calling the host, communication via app was around 24hr so if time sensitive would suggest calling.

We had the most wonderful time at Andrews charming family cabin on the lake! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and at home. The cabin is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need for a peaceful getaway. The views of the lake are absolutely stunning—morning coffee on the deck quickly became our favorite ritual. Whether we were kayaking, enjoying s'mores by the fire pit, or simply reading by the water, every moment felt special. It’s clear that this cabin is lovingly cared for, and it made our stay all the more memorable. We’re already dreaming about our next visit! Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect, and soak up nature.
