Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Luzerne County

Beautiful home , peaceful area. My family loves every moment from making s’mores with the kids in the fire pit, cooking burgers on the grill watching movies by the fire place we felt right at home . Amy was very friendly and responsive to all the questions we had. I definitely give our stay at 10/10.

This home was the perfect stay for a long weekend trip. It was in a very central area to all the surrounding places I was hoping to visit. The neighborhood was quiet and had cute wildlife to view such as deer and abundant bird species. The home itself was the right size for my pup Grady, my mom (who got to explore Jim Thorpe area for the first time!!) and myself. It was clean and felt cozy. An absolutely beautiful home with every possible amenity, a wonderful host and what a nice location! What more could you want? Home was perfectly clean, every amenity listed was in perfect working order, and so much space for my family to move around!

Location, Location, Location. Large spacious house, private setting, big yard, firepit (including wood) lots of games, tvs, etc., and right beside Ricketts Glen State Park. Great value, fantastic host, and exactly as advertised... perfect for our Memorial Day Weekend Family Getaway! Loved it! Thank you!!

This was our 2nd time around at Ryan's place. The place is comfortable and clean, suitably large enough for the grandparents, grown kids, and their young kids. The neighborhood is walkable, as we enjoyed strolling around the lake all 3 days. There is a playground and a small beach that you will pass. Despite occasional rain, we were able to enjoy our time, using the kayaks and the little kids did some fishing. We enjoyed watching the sunset and taking lake pictures. There are TWO refrigerators which come in handy, especially if you are feeding a big group! Ryan is a friendly host, responds to questions and puts guests at ease. Oh, did I mention what a GREAT price the place is? I always enjoy a good bargain. Thank you, Ryan!

It’s a neat little and private space. Our boys got the living room downstairs while my wife and I were upstairs. Even though there are neighbors, we didn’t even notice them during the holiday weekend.

One of our best experiences with Airbnb. We love to try different places with extra charm, and this place didn’t disappoint! Jim and Dee went above and beyond thinking of all the little Things when they put together this little zen gem. Tons of detail, lots of extra touches, snacks, wine, the famous muffins! Jim gave us a rundown on the history of the pizza capital and surrounding areas. Communication was great, recommendations were spot on for our pizza hopping adventure. We enjoyed walking the cemetery too down the road. We highly recommend this place and would love to stay again if we are back in the area!

Esther’s place was clean and beautiful. We felt right at home. In fact several years ago we lived in the same building as this apartment so we knew how perfect the location would be for our stay in Scranton. It is street parking, but there are always plenty of parking spots close by. Esther provided plenty of towels and the kitchen is stocked nicely. The living room is super comfy and the gas fire place a nIce treat on those cold mornings. If are are visiting Scranton, please do not hesitate to book this place. Esther will take good care of you!

The house was a perfect place for me and a few friends to stay for the weekend. Its location would be perfect for anyone using the mountain’s facilities. We were there as a launching point to Jim Thorpe.

Perfect Getaway! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an incredible stay at Silvia’s place! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The apartment was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The decor was served as a beautiful background for photos and added a nice touch to the overall atmosphere. The location was fantastic, situated within walking distance of local attractions, restaurants, and shops. Make sure to stop in on Thursday nights at Crotti’s on Ash for live music & show Luke and Jackie some love. Silvia was an exceptional host, quick to respond to my questions and was flexible with our checkout time. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or just a night away.

I’ve stayed in each of the units in Deana’s building and each is unique in its beauty, layout, and charm, while all of them are consistently comfortable and spotlessly clean. Unit three is particularly spacious with two bedrooms and plenty of space to spread out whether you’re traveling solo (like me) or bunking up with family and friends. It has everything you need and probably some of the things you forgot too. I stay here multiple times a year and have never had anything short of a wonderful experience.
