Comfortable, clean second floor condo a short drive from Bayfield with wooded view from kitchen window. Working jacuzzi and adequate cooking supplies. Jon was quick to respond to questions.

The place was lovely! You can see the lake out of the back door. Couldn’t be closer to the beach. The front bedroom was also lovely. Thanks for hosting us!

Guy golf trip, eight of us went and the house was perfect. Enjoyed the views and playing cards on the big table. Biwabik Pizza is the greatest! Only five minutes away We would go back again

The place was perfect. It had everything we needed and then some. Also, it is incredibly close to one of the alpine ski lofts for Giants Ridge (literally right across the street). We will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful family get-away and Rick's home was the ideal place to stay! The location was perfect. The views of the lake were spectacular and the home was cozy with many thoughtful amenities.

It was a perfect place for a get-a-away! Clean and comfortable and the option of kitchenware was sufficient for some basic cooking. I would definitely recommend for a single person or a couple, maybe not for a family with multiple children; everything is so close together it would be hard to not wake up the kids or vs-versa.

Jereme, was so helpful with all aspects of our 4 night stay at this Beautiful spot near the Poplar River. Skiing out was a breeze and we had enough snow to ski all the way back as well. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and pool at Caribou and everyone enjoyed this wonderful skiing experience. Great host and great spot at Lutsen Mountains!

We had our crew stay at Shawn's property. They enjoyed the amenities and the location. Shawn was very easy to communicate with and was quick to answer any questions we had.

I really enjoyed my 4 nights at Knife River. Paula was very responsive and the home was well equipped and had everything we needed. I enjoyed the near by river trail, smoked fish shop, and candy store. Two harbors is only a 15 minute drive as well. My dog is fearful of other dogs, and this was a great place for her to take a break from city living and enjoy nature without too many other dogs around. I would love to visit again in the winter since it seems there may be some local events going on during that time!

This is a wonderful off grid get away. We did a winter trip and pulled sleds with skis. Brought in water, coffee, and food. Made fires in the stoves for heat, and had a couple great saunas with cold plunges in the lake. Everything required work which is what my group was looking for. Wood to split, fires to feed, and lanterns to see at night. Close enough to ski back to the car and head to Ely anytime we wanted. Would recommend for unplugging from the busy world. Still had cell service if needed, but we stayed on airplane mode for the most part.

Five friends had a great stay at The Trailhouse. We spent time at an event in Duluth, then explored Duluth and visited the lake. The house was a convenient drive to everything we wanted to do. Matthew was very responsive if we had questions. Everything was clean. Big functional kitchen, open to the dining and living room. Take the scenic drive from I35 on 210, if you can. It was beautiful.

This is a great little place in Ely. Easy to get to and the fenced in yard is really great. Aubrey is incredibly quick to respond and her place had everything you could want. I'd stay here again for sure.

This is a sweet lil house . Has all amenities you need . The host communicates in timely manner. We loved the gas fireplace , games and fire-pit. The host supplied all the firewood . We had a wonderful stay. Very private too.

Where to start? Larry, this was so far and above what we expected! The house and furnishings were beautiful! We have a sleep number bed at home, but the beds were so comfortable we didn't even miss it! You have the house so well stocked with supplies it unbelievable. And the view! WOW! It's super hard to please 6 adults, but you did! We were at an assembly over the weekend and told people about how amazing your place is, and they all wanted to know where it was and how to rent it! Honestly, we didn't want to tell them because it feels like we found a shining gem and didn't want to tell!! If you'll have us again, we would LOVE to rent from you again! It was a fun place to stay and perfect location for Grandma’s marathon! Only 15 min from the start line. It was great to be able to have a fire and s’mores after and watch a movie in the theater room! We felt right at home using the kitchen and being able to spread out with so many beds/bedrooms!

Staying at this cabin was a very special and serene experience for our family! We brought groceries and our fishing poles and Jim’s place had everything else we needed. The view is incredible and we enjoyed watching loons on the water throughout the day. We had a couple of questions during our stay and Jim was very responsive. We hope to stay here again and until then, I’ll be dreaming of that view. Thanks for sharing this amazing home with us!

What a place and what a view! A great time was had by our family of 7 in this amazing place. We had lots of great communication from the host on our stay. It was a place that we shared great meals with the well stocked kitchen and grill, played games and laughed around the amazing north woods dining table, and we were able to get to all the parks and attractions that we wanted with the convenient location on Hwy 61. Thanks so much for a great place to stay...we've already recommended you to a number of friends :)

we had a great stay, there were a few mechanical issues that were solved right away for us. my only real issue was the price was a bit high, especially compared to some nearby rentals, however it is a beautiful place to stay.

Jon's place was great for me and my wife with our 2 small dogs. we were the first renters of the season and there wasn't any coffee, so Jon immediately gave me a $15 refund. great directions for hiking trails, nice quiet place and great location for visiting the Apostle islands. we would definitely stay there again.

Can’t say enough great things about this cabin. Such cute decor, clean as a whistle, such a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, awesome location. We would head back in a second!

Thank you Shawn, Everything was clean, convenient, and comfortable. All in working order. The view is spectacular. We so enjoyed the deck overlooking the Lake...peaceful. We were here for the golf and it did not disappoint. Two are in the top 100 public golf courses. We will make this trip again and definitely stay here.
