If you are looking for peace and quiet in nature and value simplicity and goodness, this is the place. The old half-timbered building, a former stable, was renovated with high quality and sustainably with natural materials. Clay plaster on the walls and the wood-burning stove guarantee an excellent indoor climate, and the walk to the wood-fired sauna promises absolute relaxation!

Lake Dümmer can be reached in just 10 minutes by bike or about 30 minutes on foot. Benches and a small swimming area invite you to dream. Schwerin is about 20 minutes by car. The Baltic Sea is about 1 hour by car. A Penny and a country bakery are just 6 km away in the neighboring village.

Kägsdorf beach 2

House with garden, beach approx. 1400m - walk 15 min or cycle 4 min. 8 km wild beach without resort tax between Kühlungsborn (3 km) and Rerik (5 km). Kägsdorf is a dreamy village between fields and forest. There are bicycles and a cart for kids available. Bookings in July and August minimum 5 days. Then come by, sit on the Hollywood swing in the garden or on the sofa in front of our panoramic window and watch cranes, deer and birds of prey. Relax, refuel and look at the stars at night!

Here you can actively explore nature on forest walks and bike tours, swimming in the nearby lake, or relaxing in the hammock in the large fruit tree garden, by the crackling campfire under the stars.
