We enjoyed the vacation very much, it was the most beautiful apartment so far. The furnishings are perfect and you can't get enough of the view of Lake Schwerin. The old town, the harbor and the castle are within a 30-minute walk; in about 5 minutes you can buy fresh fish or smoked fish and in about 10 minutes you are at a swimming spot with a great little bistro with deck chairs. From the apartment, we took various great bike tours around all kinds of lakes - just beautiful... I'm sure we'll be back!

A pearl in the north of Germany. what a wonderful characteristic house. exceptionally clean, equipped with all modern conveniences. Everything has been thought of. If only all Airbnbs would be so good. Great location with a nice view, tranquility and nature. Close to beautiful cities. It was a great holiday for us. We will definitely be back next year.

We felt very comfortable at the place! Everything was clean, lovingly furnished and provided with many small details that made the stay particularly pleasant. Everything was really thought of - even for our 2.5-year-old daughter there were toys and an extra cot. Communication with Lea was straightforward, warm and very reliable. We would come back anytime!

What a beautiful apartment, quiet and yet in the middle of it. Beautiful balcony, great view and wonderfully furnished. Top communication with Julia and many small amenities in the apartment, if you had forgotten something. Highest recommendation!

Our stay in the penthouse apartment was really great. The apartment is beautiful, very clean and is in a prime location in Schwerin in the middle of the city center. Many restaurants and shops, as well as the castle, are just a few minutes' walk away. Parking is possible in the vicinity for a fee, but Katharina has already provided us with tips for free parking before arrival. Even during our stay, Katharina was always available for questions. Overall, we felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Had a great stay at Renate's. Communication was impeccable and straightforward. The apartment was quietly located but still not far from the action. Renate and her husband Peter were always friendly and accessible. The apartment has everything a vacation home has. We will be happy to come back. 😇👍☺️

Hubert and Ursula's apartment is very nicely decorated, comfortable and very clean. It has everything you need. The surrounding area is particularly beautiful. There are great paths along the lake, cafés and restaurants are within walking distance and it is nice and quiet in the area. In the garden, everything that is there can be used, it is also very nice for children! We felt very comfortable.

We felt very comfortable in Sabine's apartment. We were even allowed to stay a little longer and Sabine fulfilled some extra requests like a wool blanket, etc. We would have liked a better blackout option on the Velux windows at night.

The apartment was clean and looked exactly like in the pictures. The location is great, you can walk to the castle and the city center in under 10min, the tram station is 1min away.

Very cozy, Franz also stirs up the oven when it's cold, lots of games there, you can ask Franz anything, he is very very nice

Lovingly furnished apartment in the heart of the city. Our highlight was the small balcony with morning and evening sun and a view of the cathedral. The apartment was very clean and well furnished. We didn't miss anything. The storage facility for our bicycles in the courtyard was perfect for us. We would book the apartment again anytime. Thanks to the hostess!

Great host with great tips, nice apartment and great amenities and perfect for a city trip to Schwerin. The only drawback is the pub downstairs, not everyone likes to sleep with earplugs and it was quite loud until late at night.

We had a great stay. Communication was smooth and the check-in instructions were very easy to follow. Once inside the apartment, you immediately feel at home — it’s cozy and welcoming. The location is perfect, right in the city center and within walking distance to all the main attractions, restaurants, and even a Lidl supermarket. The neighborhood is quiet at night, yet lively during the day, which made it a pleasant place to come back to after exploring. The view from the window was also a lovely bonus. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay in this beautiful city.

We were completely satisfied with the place. The premises are furnished with a lot of love for detail. The large garden with various seating options invites you to linger. Astrid and Olaf are very kind and accommodating. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment is very pretty and is very centrally located. In a few minutes you can walk to the pretty old town (with its many beautiful restaurants) and Schwerin Castle. Only the parking situation is a bit difficult. However, since we explored the area on foot or on very nice and well-developed routes with bikes, we looked for a free parking space a little outside.

My husband and I spent the vacation together with our 2 year old son in the apartment and were very enthusiastic. The check-in was very straightforward. The apartment is very well equipped and clean. It is clear that the house and garden are being taken care of intensively. The apartment is in a quiet location two side streets from the beach promenade. We agree with previous vacationers on the points of criticism. We also believe that a towel/linen package should be included in the price. The light of the WLAN router in the bedroom is really extremely bright. In addition, the pillows were far too voluminous. The three points are high-level complaints. We would book the apartment again without hesitation and always recommend it.

We stayed at the property for 4 nights. More than enough space for 6 people. Even with two bathrooms, there was no morning "scramble"! Everything super clean, wonderfully quiet. Shopping just across the street. Everything is great! We will be back.

I can't say anything bad about this place. Everything was as described and we had some relaxing days. Glad to come back

We spent a few very nice, quiet days in Thies' thatched cottage. Thies welcomed us in a very friendly way and was always very accessible when we had questions. That we could use the great spa area as a couple was our absolute highlight. Thanks so much!

The accommodation was really great! It's super big and you have a lot of space. The beds were very comfortable and there were even a variety of different pillows. So everyone could choose how they want to lie. The kitchen is super equipped and the view of the wide field is super beautiful. We would love to come back:)

It was our second stay at Quartierfreund, and we were completely satisfied again. The apartment was nicely decorated and well equipped. Especially the sauna and the bathtub were real highlights. Everything was clean, and the sea view from the balcony was simply fantastic. We had nothing to complain about and can only recommend the accommodation!
