Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Lower Lough Erne

We had a fantastic time staying at Shelia's place (The Snug). Situated in the quiet village of Dunkineely located between Donegal Town and Killybegs, the accommodation is the ideal base to explore this part of Donegal. The enclosed large garden, which has a wonderful view over the bay, was perfect for our dog Molly. The people of the village were very friendly, there is a Mace 1 min walk away should you need anything and you'll receive a warm welcome (dogs too !!) in Macs Bar if you fancy a pint. We didn't need to contact the host during our stay as we had no problems and everything about the place was perfect. My only complaint is we didn't stay longer. We plan to make a return visit.

To say this was just a b&b stay is an understatement. These people made us feel like part of the family, they even went above and beyond with their hosting. I felt so safe and welcomed in their home meeting their family and dogs lol. We will definitely be back!! Love from The Loughran family xx

Both Fionnuala and Damien were fabulous hosts, they are very friendly, generous and caring. The house was very clean and tidy, has everything we needed for a fantastic stay. Parking is just in front of the door, there is a full kitchen where we prepared most of our breakfasts and dinners. A washing machine was definitely a big plus and a separate bedroom which has a comfortable bed. They have a dog, Bertie, who love to play catch. Host even baked us a brown bread which was simply delicious, something we will miss for sure. Highly recommended and we would love to be back one day.

Kevin was the absolute host! He checked in with us to ensure we had settled into the apartment and if we required anything further. The place was lovely, spacious and clean! The added bonus was the secure parking! We would have loved to stay longer! Definitely recommend staying here!

Great value for money! lovely decor, Modern, clean, peaceful surroundings on a golf resort, perfect parking- 10 metres from the front door, great showers in both bathrooms. An all round brilliant stay. Good and fast communication from Ryan, very helpful with a couple of small things we asked. Couldn’t recommend any more! 👌🏼

We had a great 2-day stay! The location is perfect—just a short drive to Glencar Waterfall and the Gleniff Horseshoe. The place had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Geraldine was a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. Would definitely recommend!

A beautiful spot right on the edge of Lower Lough Erne. Fabulous views from both the living and sleeping quarters. Great kitchen, supremely comfortable super king bed, and a shower that could knock you off your feet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks Richard.

Our family of 4 enjoyed our 2 night stay at Carmel’s place. We arrived to find a basket of bread, butter, milk and sweet treats which was a lovely surprise after our drive to town. Her home was roomy, comfortable and quiet, and a short drive to all the great places Sligo has to offer.

Wenn du ein ganz besonderes Quartier im Norden Irlands suchst – mit Herz, Ruhe und einer Gastgeberin, die einfach alles übertrifft – dann bist du hier genau richtig. Wir durften ein paar Tage an diesem wunderbaren Ort verbringen, und obwohl das Wetter nicht auf unserer Seite war, hatten wir eine wunderschöne Zeit. Das Haus selbst ist ein kleines Juwel: liebevoll eingerichtet, perfekt ausgestattet – wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Die Lage? Traumhaft ruhig und doch so praktisch, dass man schnell in alle Ecken von Sligo und Donegal kommt. Aber das Allerbeste war Karen, unsere Gastgeberin. So viel Herzlichkeit, Offenheit und echtes Interesse am Wohl ihrer Gäste haben wir selten erlebt. Sie macht diesen Ort zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Für uns war es mehr als nur eine Unterkunft – es war ein Stück Zuhause auf Zeit. Dieses Airbnb können wir von ganzem Herzen weiterempfehlen.

Brian's Place was in an amazing location for a base to do a number of activities. Very spacious would make a great place to stay for a family. It has a great view with an awesome sun room. Brian was a great host, very responsive. I would recommend Brian's place to anyone. Would stay there again if I every find myself in the area.

Shamrock cottage was so beautiful. The location , the views are breathtaking. The house is so nice, clean. Loved every minute here. A fair warning the lockbox was hard to find, hidden behind trees and hard to open as it is dark in there but Anita was very helpful and kept talking me through it. But eventually it was all worth it. The lake view is so serene, the cows were so friendly too! We left some stuff behind and Anita was so wonderful trying to help us get our stuff back. She also went out of her way to help us find us a golf course. We really enjoyed our stay at shamrock cottage.

We had a really nice time at Erinona House. To give an idea of "how" nice we would convey this comparison as follows. Erinona House ranks number ONE out of the many houses we have rented for holidays both in Scotland and the US over the past 40 years. We have actually NEVER had better response and assistance anywhere else than what we had with our host Conal ! Kudos to whoever designed Erinona and we give thanks for the opportunity to experience it. If you are looking to visit Fermanagh in NI, then you need to give Erinona House a chance to provide you a great stay.

Amazing place to stay

we had a fantastic stay at Karen and John's place in Ardara. location was perfect for exploring Ardara and its surrounds. Karen warmly welcomed us and left provisions for breakfast, a really nice touch. highly recommend Karen and John's place in Ardara.

Fiona was a very responsive host and very quick to answer any queries. The apartment was amazing with stunning views out over the water. Was so well equipped with everything you would need for a stay. Very peaceful location yet close to carrick on shannon. So much to do in the area too. highly recommend for a stay

This was a lovely place to stay in Sligo, right next to downtown restaurants and the beautiful abbey. Dympna was very friendly, checked us in in-person and give us lots of good recommendations about where to eat and what to see. The flat itself was super cute, we decorated and clean.

My stay at The Snug was wonderful. It was in a great location both to town and also to explore other parts of Co. Donegal. Claire and Brendan were easy to contact and very friendly. They had great recommendations for food in the area, and had a handbook full of recommendations for activities for the area. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
