Lovely home, and a great location. The bus stop is very close by and the buses are frequent. Worth noting that the bedroom curtains still allow light through so expect to have bright mornings!

We absolutely LOVED staying here. It was truly incredible! The host, James, is genuinely so kind and thoughtful. He always responded quickly and when we got in a pinch, he was proactive and super helpful. The loft is so beautiful - I wish I could live there. It is an easy walk to anything you want to do in the city. It’s close to everything and in a gorgeous part of town. If you’re coming to Edinburgh, you MUST stay here. It is truly breathtaking and exactly as promised online!!

Wow!! Just WOW!! Not only was this little studio just perfect in every way, Jo and Mike are simply two of the nicest and most congenial people we have ever met! They are absolutely the greatest hosts we’ve ever experienced! We stayed here to wind down a long holiday and, boy, we are glad that we did. The studio itself was very spacious and comfortable. It had every single thing we needed and then some! The grounds were spectacular! Very peaceful and serene. The gardens were beautiful and very meticulously cared for. The perfect place to sit in the mornings and listen to the birds sing and enjoy the aroma of the wide variety of beautiful flowers. After a long day of exploring the area, the garden swing was a great place to sit and quietly reflect on the days adventure. If you want an incredible place to stay with the nicest host and hostess imaginable, don’t hesitate to book this gem! You will LOVE it!!

Audrey was a lovely host, and the place was great for the things we wanted to do. Having the car made it easier to get to Edinburgh, which was only 20 minutes away, and we also went to Glasgow. Parking was no issue, and our cat loved it, having a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for nice walks, scenic drives, and a peaceful stay.

You could not ask for a better view! The space was comfortable and thoughtfully designed. It was easy to get everywhere from here. Overpackers beware— the three story stairs are no joke, but absolutely worth the view!

Pier and Monica were great hosts – their flat is very clean and tidy, and in a convenient area to catch transit to local attractions. Their house info binder is super detailed and helpful, with info not just about the flat but also the local area and attractions. The hosts made sure the to provide not just everything needed, but also the little things (thanks for the welcome note and milk for coffees!) that made the flat feel like a home away from home. They were very prompt and easy to communicate with. Thanks for a great stay!

Ideal location for a break away. The flat, located in a quiet street, is spacious and comfortable. Just a short walk into the City with multiple restaurants, shops and bars, plus of course the stunning Abbey and its grounds. Live Music venues visited included PJ Molloys, Alhambra Theatre, etc. The small garden at the rear was an absolute delight and felt so peaceful with just the sound of birds tweeting in the evening. Bliss! The kitchen was very well equipped with all modern conveniences, including a full oven and hob, as well as a washing machine, digital kettle, and microwave. All stylish too. We loved staying there, and would very much like to return in future.

Great location in Leith, with good restaurants very close by, a Tesco (supermarket) within 5 blocks and just steps away from the electric tram that takes you to and from the airport and the center of Edinburgh. Denise was very proactive in sending us instructions about how to access the keys and enter. The flat was very quiet with heavy drapes for helping us sleep off our jet lag. Well-equipped, not far from the shore but close enough to walk to everything you need. Lovely place, really.

We found Darrin's apartment comfortable, clean and very well stocked. The welcome basket was generous and very much appreciated. Lovely garden view out of the kitchen and lounge room windows and although the building is on the main road, Darrin's apartment is at the back on the ground floor and is surprisingly quiet. Penicuik has an interesting history and is a great spot from which to explore the local area and Edinburgh. We took the bus into Edinburgh on two of the days we were there, about 45 minutes, with the bus stop nearby. We would happily come and stay with Darrin again.

Beautiful accommodations, exactly like pictures. Very clean with modern amenities and bonus Scottish snacks. Quiet & safe neighborhood within walking distance to almost everything, we would definitely stay here again!

We stayed the last four nights of our stay in Scotland at Lorne and Frank’s place and it was a great way to finish off our trip. Their home was absolutely gorgeous and they were great hosts. The one thing that my wife and I commented on over and over again was how comfy the bed was. We loved our stay in Stockbridge which is such a lovely and vibrant neighbourhood and this unit was such a great home base for all our adventurers. There are lots of pubs, restaurants and shopping nearby and city centre is very walkable from this location. There are also lots of bus stops you can walk to quickly to get you to just about anywhere you want to go.

A beautiful and spacious apartment. The bedrooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Very impressive views. It was very easy to get a bus into the centre of Edinburgh. We really appreciated and highly recommend the jacuzzi bath after running the Edinburgh Marathon!! Bulhar was great with communication. Also some extra touches were really appreciated - shampoos,conditioner and shower gel and other toiletries available to use in the bathroom. Also some soft drinks and teas and coffees available as well, which was very generous. Would definitely recommend this lovely apartment.

The Secret Orchard is a substantial, historic building. Fabulous inside, with modern fitting but still retaining many of the original features. Very comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed the garden (Matt's tomatoes made me jealous). My wife thought the chickens, running free, were gorgeous.

Lorraine’s place was great, big living space and comfortable beds with an apartment full of great amenities. 9 of us across 2 apartments was very spacious. Would definitely stay here again. 5/5

Me, my fiancé and dog all absolutely loved our stay. The bnb is located in a beautiful and peaceful part of Scotland and Aimee was super helpful. Aimee was there to welcome us and show us around and super helpful from the beginning to end and happy to answer any and all questions. The indoor hot tub was super relaxing and paddock was perfect to tire out our big puppy. Would recommend the stay to anyone and would love to come back one day.

This was a large, comfortable apartment, perfectly located for walking all over town.

Very romantic, comfortable and clean ideal for a weekend away with lovely scenery and trails. Shopping is minimal take what is needed however teas and sugars were provided which was lovely and the hot tub was gorgeous.

Total luxury! Every detail was immaculate and couldn’t of been happier. With shops only a short walk away and plenty of easy street parking in a very nice,safe area, this is a great option for passing through or traveling for work. Loved relaxing in the spa bath at the end of a long days work and washing the jet lag away for a peaceful night sleep. Quick tip, there is no salt or pepper and the milk is only satchels. Plenty of pod coffee in all the flavours.
