Our home is located on 2.3 acres in Finca Los Pargos, 5 minutes up the mountain from Playa Negra Beach in a unique area, offering complete privacy and very close to endless beaches. The home has an open floor plan with large sliding doors to the terrace and pool, creating for ample space to enjoy the surrounding endless forest while enjoying all the amenities the house has to offer. The sun rises over the mountains and the sunsets from the property are purely magical over the Pacific Ocean.

You can leisurely stroll to everything in Playa Negra including six restaurants , markets, surf shops, yoga studios and of course our beaches. Very safe, comfortable and clean. This is not an anonymous rental with an absent host. I love sharing my life’s dream of tropical living and surfing with my guests.

The little blue house is exactly what one needs. Has a working kitchen, quiet, and best of all the beach is right there. It was nice to have a peaceful place to return to after busy excursions into the cities or whatever else. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely visit again

Me and my parnter had a great stay, the house is brand new, nice and clean, it has everything you need, very peaceful, great location, very close to the beach, restaurants, bars, mini market. The Host was always very nice, would awnser right away if any questions. We would definitely go back.

La villa es hermosa, cómoda y privada. Jefrey es un excelente anfitrión, es amable y accesible. Nuestra estadía fue en época lluviosa por lo que la calle estaba en muy mal estado, tomarlo en cuenta si vas con un auto tipo sedán, y la villa está un poquito alejada del pueblito donde se pueden comprar comestibles. Dejando esto de lado, es un lugar que vale totalmente la pena visitar.

This is a beautiful, peaceful haven in a lovely secure, plant-filled courtyard. Brian is kind, thoughtful and helpful. The space is cute, comfortable, and well-equipped. The design is fairly al-fresco, which helps keep the place cool in the heat but means there is not a lot of sound or visual privacy between the two rooms. Not necessarily a problem for us, but worth being aware of depending on who you are staying with.

Surfside Cabin Retreat in Playa Negra.

Rodolfo is a great host. Always willing to help and show you around the area. We stayed at Rodolfo's cabina for 5 weeks. The cabina was very comfortable, private and safe. It has AC and there are two patios. The kitchen has all the cooking basics and a good stove & fridge/freezer. There were howler monkeys in the trees, iguanas in the yard and plenty of birds. It was approx. 20 min walk to the beach. We didn't have a car so we rented bikes. We biked to the main beach (playa negra) every day and to mix things up we biked to 5 other beaches along the coast. All the beaches are beautiful, most of them are great for surfing. Playa Negra is especially good because there is a large "sandy beach" area without rocks that is good for swimming, playing in the waves, boogie boarding and learning to surf... there are plenty of shady spots in the trees. The beach also has a shower. Plenty of restaurants and basic groceries in the area (there is a much better grocery in Tamarindo).
