Family-friendly holiday rentals in Lopez Island

I was traveling with 3 kids (pre teen and teens). We all loved our stay! There was so much to do and absolutely everything we needed for anything we could think of doing. We enjoyed ping pong, biking, s’more’s, kayaking, games, cooking meals, watching wildlife (seals, a huge sea lion, weasel, bald eagles), and hanging out with a friendly black cat that visited. I cooked a couple meals and had everything I needed for cooking and storage. The view was amazing and north-facing which made me upset that I missed the strong auroras by 1 day :( I wish we could have stayed longer!

Carol’s place was AMAZING! The kitchen had everything needed to make meals for dining in, which we did a lot of because THAT VIEW!! We didn’t want to leave, just wanted to sit and watch for marine life. We saw seals, dolphins, eagles, and a family of 6 sea otters playing. When the evening started to cool we moved our binoculars to the hot tub to continue enjoying the views and serenity. My family agreed the beds were comfy and we all slept well. If you are looking for a go go go vacay Pender Island is not your place. If you want easy hikes in gorgeous surroundings, peace that reaches your very core, and super friendly people I definitely recommend Pender Island! The didc golf course has discs for public use and was really fun! Driftwood shopping center has all you will need. We recommend Sea Star Winery and a stop at Bee Wild distillery for tastings. We HIGHLY recommend Carol’s place!

We had such a lovely time here. John was very flexible, responsive and clearly cared that we had a good stay. The hot tub was clean and we took their two person kayak to the little island where we swam! It was beautiful and really made our 24 hours in Bellingham worth it. We also loved the restaurant and bakery recommendations they gave us. Can’t wait to be back some day!

The place was beautiful and private, with many deer wandering freely. The cabin was luxurious, with a great kitchen, a hot tub, a huge wrap-around couch and a deck with plenty of seating. Autumn, the host, was very accommodating and easily reachable by phone. Beds were comfortable, showers were hot, and we had plenty of extra linens, including towels. We have stayed in many Airbnb accommodations, and this was one of the best. Thank you!

Wow!! What an amazing place to say. Our family spent several days here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Beds are very comfortable, the house is clean, and the hot tub outside is great after a long day of hiking. The view lives up to the hype, it’s absolutely fantastic!

Amazing stay with family. Everyone including the kids had a wonderful time. We had great weather in May and got to take advantage of the beach and kayaks several times. Nearby golf and tennis was great, two guest played 9 holes and a bunch of us played pickleball. Everyone was sad to leave and we all said we would love to come back. Such an amazing property in a beautiful corner of the world. Thanks for sharing it with us!

This house is incredible. The location is perfect, walking distance to many food and drink spots. There is an amazing coffee shop right on the corner. Sauna and soaking tub are relaxing. The house is clean and organized and has clear instructions. Hosts are helpful and knowledgable. Highly recommend!

We had such a lovely stay. The home is very charming and fully equipped with everything you need to be able to stay in on a rainy day. We loved the location, as it’s right next to a super cute town that has a beach, lots of restaurants and shops and the OI market. Highly recommend this place!

We came for a weekend Renaissance Faire and while we very much enjoyed the Faire it was great to come back to a place where we could relax, be comfortable and enjoy the quiet of the countryside and the views. CarolLynn was very helpful whenever we had a question and showed us around her beautiful property. I will most definitely consider staying here again.

Very relaxing, peaceful spot! The sauna and cold shower was a great touch, and a perfect morning refresher to get you woken up and started with your day. Zoë was an awesome host and was quick with responses throughout our stay!

Nigel was a fantastic host and extremely responsive to any questions we had. The place was in great shape and in an awesome location right by the water.

This was the second time we stayed at the Haidaway each stay was for a full month. Clearly we love it there, lovely accommodation in a super location. We did lots of hiking and sightseeing. Five stars all the way!

We had a very lovely stay at Brian’s cottage. It was tucked away within the trees and was very peaceful with a beautiful view. Everything was very clean and fully stocked with anything we might need. He left lots of information regarding restaurants and hiking near the area and also had lots of books and guides about Olympic National park which we took advantage of. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely recommend.

An all around great place. Located within walking distance to the water and restaurants and all the amenities you could possibly need for your stay.

We had a wonderful stay. Billie was friendly and approachable, and so wonderful. We enjoy the clean and comfortable place, and swimming pool. The place was very close from the main shopping/restaurants area and it made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you for everything Billie!

The hosts had an incredibly clean suite. It had plenty of room with an extremely comfortable bed and the most comfortable sofa bed I’ve ever slept on. The bathroom amenities were not cut-rate products, but high quality. The view of the water was spectacular; we even had the added bonus of seeing some wildlife in the backyard from our window. The indoor pool was the incentive that kept my 4- year old grandson on his best behavior. It was depressing to have to leave. It felt like we were at home.

Beautiful condo, full of amenities, comfy bed, gorgeous views. Perfect for longer stays. We were only there for a couple of nights, making it hard to justify all the air BnB fees, but not the hosts fault. Would certainly rent again when we have longer time to visit my grandsons.

We had a great time at Anna's house and immediately felt right at home. It had everything we needed. It felt perfectly secluded and private in spite of the neighborhood being relatively dense. The view of the lake was beautiful. We appreciated the house's proximity to Bellingham and the area's sprawling mountain bike trails. Grateful for our time there!

They were always available to answer any questions and made sure everything went smoothly throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!
