Hotel holiday rentals in Long Island Sound

Great location! This was close enough to downtown that we could easily walk to the waterfront or stroll along Thames. It was pouring rain on our first night, but not to worry — we were just a three-minute walk from delicious Italian food. Easy to grab morning coffee and pastries as well. We were also in a quiet enough zone that car shares arrived on time but there was no congestion or bothersome street noise by us. Inside the house was perfect too! Spotless and exactly as described. Beds were comfortable, water was hot, checkin and checkout was effortless. Last but not least, the price was right for our girls’ trip. We would definitely stay again!

What a charming home. Cozy room, loved the electric fireplace..spacious private bathroom, super clean and great water pressure (I love a good shower)! Justine and David were super friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. We hope to stay again next October!

Good location and we'll maintained property

five stars for uniqueness and charm. We have friends in the area and have had a hard time finding pet friendly accommodations. I was a little hesitant because I didn't know the area and it seemed like a small older place. It is both. after reading the reviews I thought I'd give it a try and I'm really glad we did It was very clean. very well thought out charming and the best part was the kitchen and restaurant and bar. A small local place with fantastic entertainment. We didn't have to leave the property. just an easy walk downstairs to really unique, delicious food and wonderful entertainment. The girls that work there, Tam and Carly really know what they're doing. they are hard-working and professional and they make a great hot toddy. We will stay there again the next time we visit our friends. It was just very easy and comfortable.

We had a great stay! The host was super communicative and made sure we had all the information we needed to find the parking lot, check in, etc. They even gave us a heads-up when the weather started to turn, so that we could plan accordingly. The room was comfortable and very spacious, and the location was super convenient. Even with a winter storm hitting, we were able to walk to coffee shops, great restaurants, and multiple bookstores. Would definitely recommend!

Jimmy and his family are incredibly kind and gracious host, super accommodating and tries their best to make every stay as pleasant as possible. The room was very spacious and clean and location was perfect and central to all.

We had the best time!! Leanne was so very friendly and absolutely she is as cool as TWIN GABLES which is saying a lot! We had a gracious welcome and tour and then chatted about the sister hotels and their locations. Our bathroom was SPARKLING and modern and efficient. The artwork through the property was colorful, fun and interesting and a great intro to Woodstock. I just cant believe I was able to secure the room via Airb&b what a total surprise and JACKPOT!!….GOOD karma abides at Twin Gables in Woodstock, NY. I hope to be back and also visit the other hotels all in unique town.

Great little place to stay in Harlem! Close to a subway station and delis on the corner. Shared bathroom was easy and no issues. Very nice having a common area to leave luggage even after checkout.

This place is really special. The beautiful trees, the quiet, the chickens pecking about in the garden - peace. The house is impeccably kept, all of the linens were top notch, AC in every bedroom in case it gets warm. Super comfy. By far the best part of staying here though is spending time with Doris and John. Chatting with them felt like hanging out with good friends. We immediately felt at ease and at home, and we were already talking about when we could come back as we were driving away. The whole experience was a balm for the soul.

Super great stay at Hero. Very clean and peaceful.

This is the best location on this side of the north fork. Unbeatable proximity to the beach. The bed is also big and comfortable. Matter of fact the whole room is large. It could use some upgrades but it has those two most important things. Oh! And good food on site! It’s also close to town and to 67 step beach. I will definitely be back in the warmer weather!

A very nice hotel, room was very clean. the host was very helpful with my questions and I appreciate that they allowed me to check-in an hour early. will definitely book again.

My friends and I had a nice stay here for a night. I would recommend and stay here again. Check in and check out is not very flexible I would say but is smooth. Other than that I don’t have any complaints about it. It is at a hotel so the host just refers you to call the front desk instead of reaching out to them for any questions that need to be answered after check in. The pool looked incredible but we unfortunately did not have time to use it during our stay this time. The lobby and hotel room decor is so lovely.

Absolutely awesome stay. More amenities than I originally thought. It was really awesome to see an oven there! Definitely will be back again.

We stayed for the weekend and we couldn’t have had a better time. This spot is right on the beach, with a private sandy beach area shared with other people staying at the hotel. The day bar was so much fun with a live DJ playing mixes.I recommend bringing your own beach chairs if you want to set up on the beach (that’s what we did). The room is in close walking distance to coffee shops and eateries. We went to”Montauk Clothing Store” on the last day to buy souvenirs. Royal Atlantic is an incredible spot and we look forward to visiting again!

This was an incredible stay! Every detail was beautiful made the suite feel like home - we loved it and would definitely visit again!

I was visiting for my daughter’s graduation at Yale, so unfortunately did not take time to use the fully equipped and clean kitchen, or sample some of Sascha’s cooking. The home is situated next to one of the 2+ mile trails around Maltby Lakes, where I enjoyed morning walks in the forest and along the lakes. The home concentrates on supporting native plants. I would like to return in the fall for more homemade chocolate and sample some of Sascha’s vegetarian cooking, which includes cuisines from South America and Asia. The stay was enjoyable with clean comfortable rooms and friendly atmosphere.

We really enjoyed everything about the Wavecrest, from the location to the room itself and the ocean view. We appreciated the decor and the cleanliness. Wavecrest made everything easy and relaxing. Information was readily available for restaurants, directions, and things to do. We definitely plan on returning with family in the future.

Wonderful place, very modern, clean , designed and furnished with a lot of love. Also the garden was extraordinary, and we loved the fire pit! Nery was very friendly, proactive and professional.

My partner and I had a lovely time at their place ! The room was clean and beautiful. Loved the sunlight coming in every morning. The neighborhood was nice and the highlight was the cat! Highly recommend :)

This was a repeat stay and, like the first time, the area was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Estela was very responsive to queries, and very amenable to my checking in early. This is a great place to stay in a lovely area.
