Holiday rentals with an accessible-height bed in Long Island Sound

It is in a good location, and the apartment has everything you need. The host is well-communicated, and we enjoyed staying there.

Cozy and unassuming, Gina makes you feel at home. Fresh, homemade continental breakfasts were great! It is pet friendly, but ours stayed home. We wouldn’t hesitate to bring them next time. Nice fenced yard. We were in town for a graduation at Q Law. The unit is just a few minutes drive to downtown Wallingford and the Q campuses.

This was a fabulous spot for an extended weekend in New York! Super accessible to many subway lines, spacious (for NYC, this place was massive!), modern, clean and comfortable. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was well equipped for making small meals, the rooftop was beautiful, and the staff were responsive and nice. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect beach rental! The apartment is exactly as described and better. Checkin was easy and the apartment was welcoming, super clean and well appointed. The beach is literally across the street and others are a short walk. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings and walking the beaches in the morning. Mary makes every effort to make your stay feel like home. Literally hated leaving!

I loved the stay; this was my first time but i will def come back again. Everything about the property was loved by my entire family.

The location and comfort can’t be beat. We stayed at the professor’s flat for a full semester while I was teaching at Yale and it was perfect for a couple and a cat. We even had a couple of friends visit and stay over comfortably during that time. We truly lived in the place like it was our home, because it felt like it: it was cozy, and despite a smaller kitchen than we’re used to, it was well equipped, and we were able to cook a lot and even host dinner parties. It’s very conveniently located to everything in New Haven/the East Rock neighborhood & we walked everywhere. Also very convenient to the freeway. A parking spot was included in our rent as well. Remy, Hilary and Sal were always responsive and ready to take care of anything that needed attention. Remy also gave us and all the tenants extras like baked goods, and samples of her great Italian cooking on occasion (around the holidays). They also gave us fire logs for the fireplace we used our entire last month in town.

A fantastic host she responds very quickly if you have one question. Beautiful apartment with lovely beds in a safe neighborhood with cheap shops nearby, which is quite a unicum in New York/ New Jersey. * * * * Restaurants nearby. Near the station which takes you in 30 minutes to Exchange place where you take the subway to New York (WTC) In other words, highly recommended.

We absolutely loved this place! Great space for a family, and so walkable to restaurants, walking trail, dog park, etc. Our host was extremely responsive and accommodating. Thank you!

We had a lovely time at your home! The house was immaculate and the backyard was great for our kids and dog. The short walk to Cove park was nice and the park had great amenities. We also visited the maritime aquarium in Norwalk and the drive wasn’t horrible for being near-city driving. Elena was very prompt in responding to help requests and was very helpful. Million dollar views of Holly Pond and the Long Island Sound. And the beauty of the backyard is understated in the listing!

Meghan and Dan, i cannot say enough wonderful things about your home. Perfect place to recoup from surgery. This is a pristine home. This is not an ordinary place, they took a lot of care in choosing everything. I even mentioned these are not “ curtains “ or average linen. This is true upholstery, textiles that are soft and last! The Rattan carpets Matched well with the decor. I would definitely recommend staying for any reason! I would call it a very American Cottage! Worth every penny and solitude! Thank you again

Marie was very helpful, responsive, and informative. Her place was in a great location and close to the beach, and very clean. The beach passes, beach chairs, and beach toys were a nice added touch! Would definitely recommend!

Tracey’s home was newly renovated and wonderfully so. The beds were the among the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in , including nice hotels. The en suite bathroom and shower was nicer than hotel quality. The kitchen was chefs quality which made sense when we found out that Tracey was a restauranteur and runs the local golf club’s restaurant. He kindly made us some cookies upon arrival, but we did not get a chance to eat at his restaurant…which looked great…as did the public golf course. Tracey was a superb host, friendly and always available with good suggestions. Our kids loved playing in the back yard, rolling down the hill. They want to go back to “Mr Tracey’s House” as do we. Danbury was a nice alternative to Hudson valley with fewer tourists, yet still good hikes nearby as well as some good restaurants and a train museum that are kids enjoyed.

This is my 3rd time staying at this beautiful oasis, and I can't wait to go back! We were on a girl's trip and we all felt very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, curling up on the super comfy couch, playing the games at the house, cooking delicious meals, and the nearby Pinball Museum! It was my first time walking home from the boardwalk, and I don't know why I didn't do it sooner! The neighborhood homes are beautiful and spring is springing! Tracy is an amazing host and she made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Can't wait to go back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the beach!

We had a great experience! The house was very clean when we got there and met all our expectations. Shane was a very responsive host, while we did have an issue with the state of the hot tub, he quickly sent someone over to fix it! Overall a very good place to stay for a larger group!
