Holiday rentals with beach access in Long Island Sound

Stunning little spot, tucked away in a quiet and beautiful surrounding. The amenities were wonderful like fresh ground coffee, interesting books, and great vinyl collection. The layout of the house was really cool, including the winding stairs and lofty bedroom. All in all, the perfect spot for a little hamptons weekend.

Have stayed here multiple times. Very comfortable apartment and as described in listing. Private entrance and setting in nice walkable neighborhood. Johanna is very responsive and a wonderful host. Highly recommended.

We loved Jamie’s place. The location is PERFECT (right on the edge of downtown Sayville), and has convenient parking, too. Instructions to get in were waiting in our inbox as soon as we got off the plane. Super convenient to Islip airport. The space is immaculate. Perfectly clean, everything looks new and is imperfect working order. Well-equipped kitchen, with all the necessities. The AC is a STRONG unit. When it comes on - it’s ON! If You’re a light sleeper you might notice, but it didn’t bother us at all. Internet was fast and strong throughout the flat (although it’s not that big, of course). The friends we were visiting loved it so much they’re going to start recommending it to all their guests!

this was my 4th time staying at this air b and b and as usual I dodnt want to leave!!. Sarah and Phil where amazing. I love going to this air b and b becouse its so peaceful and calm and its like be at home. Alisa’s and Lena’s place is beautiful! Easily accessible with a private entrance from the back via stairs to the second floor it is a beautiful small apartment decorated with many thoughtful little items around a maritime theme. The place was cozy, clean, and had everything to offer that one might need. The location is very close to the newly developed Sandy Point Bird Sanctuary, a beautiful park along the beach of the Long Island Sound. Will keep this in mind to return to in the future!

Wonderful and cozy apartment! We were in town for a wedding and needed a clean and safe space to make home base. This was perfect. Would absolutely stay again!

Bridget, (the hostess with the mostest!) We very much enjoyed our stay in your lovely air bnb, it was perfect for our needs enabling us to be near family and friends yet have the quiet down time that was much needed. Being back in the old neighborhood was a super plus too, still a lovely area with local stores and restaurants and so many places to see and explore around town. Claudia is a wonderful and responsive host, who sent us helpful information and recommendations of area restaurants. Her home is so cozy and immaculate, with special touches throughout. It’s also in the heart of Fairfield, within minutes of anywhere in town. We’ll certainly be back!

We really enjoyed meeting Steve and getting his recommendations for things to do. Everything is very well thought out and planned for your comfort. Steve is easy to work with and very responsive. The view and interior design make it a soothing and relaxing environment. We enjoyed the proximity to The Hamptons and made it all the way to the Montauk lighthouse taking the old highway as he suggested. Gorgeous! We had really good takeout from JCs when we wanted to eat in and just enjoy the peacefulness of it all. One of our favorite trips!

We had a relaxing overnight with our two pups! The bay/sound area is so peaceful. Our dogs enjoyed swimming before the tide came in and we kayaked along the shoreline. The inside was stunning and had everything you needed and more! We door dashed lobster rolls from the Bonfire Grille nearby (10/10) and ended the night in the hot tub! Coffee on the sunny patio was a great perk, too! Thanks again!!

Very relaxing and peaceful stay at the Zenhouse for me, my husband and 3 month old boy. The guest house was relatively spacious and had all the amenities needed to relax with tea/coffee and grill food. Some of the fixtures in the guest house are a bit dated (e.g. bathroom, heater, etc.) but are all perfectly functional. The property is expansive with beautiful trees, streams and walkways throughout. Olga greeted us with a wonderful welcome including of the history of the property. We also enjoyed spotting the geese, chipmunks and other animals that roam around the grounds. We would come again when during warmer weather to enjoy the pool next time.

We loved Laura and Dana’s Big Easy home by the beach. It was big and comfortable and every detail had been thought about to maximize our enjoyment. Drawers and closets and cabinets were all labeled so we didn’t have to search for anything or guess where anything was. Literally every need had been anticipated! Amazing. The beds and bedding and linens and towels were abundant and soft and comfortable. The kitchen amenities were awesome, from an air fryer, to a full set of bar tools and blender, to great appliances. The decor was happy and cheerful and creative and fun. There were so many places to sit and enjoy, both inside and out. Do not hesitate to choose this wonderful place for a visit of any length. You will love it!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Eileen's beautiful waterfront home. The view from the living room and primary bedroom of the water was so peaceful. The kitchen was well appointed and the cozy living room made for a wonderful family gathering spot when we weren't dining out at the fabulous nearby restaurants, visiting wineries, or viewing local scenery. Eileen was incredibly responsive to small questions we had. We would definitely book again!!

My husband, our dogs, and I just returned home after spending a month at Sarah's house on Long Island. we truly didn't want to leave, it was so relaxing! The lousy May weather notwithstanding, the property was absolutely perfect for us. Everything was as described and we felt right at home. Sarah was super proactive/responsive. While we were only able to use the pool a couple of times (weather), it was great and the spa was awesome, especially in the evening under the pretty lights in the backyard! There were great spaces to work (hubby didn't have the full month off like I did) and to just chill. The house is located near many conveniences (I'm looking at you, Walmart) to pick up necessities and while we didn't cook for ourselves quite a bit, we were thrilled that unlike at home, the food delivery services were fast, reliable, and everything arrived at the perfect temperature! we can't say enough good things about our stay and will definitely be returning!

We loved staying here! It was so nice to go to the private beach. It was in a great location and neighborhood was quiet. He was very responsive and helpful when me or someone from my group asked a question. The house was very clean and we loved the nespresso! It makes me want to buy one for my house lol

We rented Kathi's place for our girls trip to Newport! It was plenty big and spacious to comfortably accommodate our group of 5. The best part is the prime location! Couldn't have asked for a better one - the Bodhi spa is right across the street, good restaurants that we could just walk to, plenty of shopping on the street. Kathi was always very responsive and even gave us early check-in, which we truly appreciated. Having free parking is a bonus on Thames St, you know if you have ever been to Newport! Overall we all had a fabulous time. Thanks Kathi.

We had a great time at Julie’s place. Would love to visit again…perhaps in the Fall. Loved the balcony overlooking the Sound. Julie was very responsive to my questions. She got back to me immediately. I would highly recommend Julie’s home!

Really great place with an amazing view out of the living room and dining room windows!! Perfect beach view, super close to the beach, and a great community. Very clean. Only thing that I would mention would be that the dining room light didn't work

Just had a wonderful stay at Robert’s place! The place was impeccably clean, and Robert was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our visit. While the manor has a charmingly vintage vibe and could use a bit of modernization, we truly enjoyed our time there. The warmth of the atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. We recommend for anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

I highly recommend staying here as a home away from home retreat! Our stay was relaxing and cozy with a peaceful view of the water. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
