Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lombard Street Reservoir

I really enjoyed my stay! Lorraine's communication proved to be very helpful when Lorraine forewarned me in advance of a technical issue on the Airbnb app that would have made check-in more difficult. I was able to check-in seamlessly because Lorraine had noticed and anticipated that it might be an issue. Also, such a small but thoughtful detail - I loved that there were shampoo and conditioner available for those of us with texture hair in additional to the typical options. It's often overlooked by those in the hospitality industry that many standard hair care products are damaging to textured hair, so this really stood out to me and I appreciate the thought a lot. Aside from that, the home was clean, and very pleasant. I would absolutely stay with Lorraine again!

Arron was the perfect host. He was proactive with information and also quick to reply. He went out of his way to accommodate our stay and make sure all went well so we could enjoy our trip as much as possible. The place was very clean and conveniently located to the stadium. Arron offered to store our luggage after we checked out so we could still do activities before our flight. We also booked his transportation services to the airport. He was punctual and pleasant, and we arrived in plenty of time for our travel. Arron set the bar high for our future travel and we would stay here again without hesitation.

My 20 year old son and girlfriend actually are the ones who stayed at Bob's place. They raved about their stay and wished they had booked for more than one night! They HIGHLY recommend staying here and loved the way it was decorated and Bob's welcoming nature and the location sounds perfect for exploring SF by foot! My husband and I will book this place next time we want a San Fran getaway! Thanks for being such a responsive host, Bob, to both me and my son!

I had another fabulous stay at Josh's place. I really love the up grade to the bathrooms, just don't forget to bring your shower shoes. There's lots to do and see in this area. I highly recommend staying at Josh's place when visiting San Francisco.

If you plan to sight see the city then only stay here if you are strong willed otherwise, you may have a hard time leaving the extremely comfy bed each morning or you may find yourself spending way too much time in the amazing sauna. It’s also possible that you decide the rooftop garden, with its stunning colors and hummingbird resident, rival any park in the city. If you think your need for food will drive you out, think again because you will be greeted with home made baked goods so delicious you would expect them to have come from a European bakery! So, think very carefully and make an informed decision!! Should you decide you have the mental fortitude to resist locking yourself away in this cozy yet high-end retreat for the duration of your stay, you will find no shortage of walkable things to do and places to eat. If you happen to enjoy Pho then I highly encourage you to make the trek to Pho 2000. Don’t expect fancy—just delicious!!

Excellent, amazing area. This apt is a perfect spot to crash in for affordable lodging in Marina. Better option than the hotels in that area unless you want to overpay. Everything in walking distance.

I had the loveliest stay at Joanna’s spot. Friendly tenants, wonderful host, and the most gorgeous home I’ve ever been to. A affirming stay & I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Joanna again.

Joys place was amazing, the view from the apartment is insane over San Francisco. It was clean and tidy and had everything you needed. The bed was so comfy. Joy is a really good host, replied to my messages really quick and made sure everything was alright which goes a long way! Deffo recommend!

Excellent base for visiting SF. Central location, walkable to North Beach and Chinatown. But still a quiet area. The home is cozy and comfortable. The host Keith went out of his way to assist when we needed some help. Great experience!

Barbara was one of the best hosts, if not the best, that I have encountered over my many years of travel. She was responsive to messages and was just so polite and friendly with recommendations and tips for navigating San Francisco. The little touches of snacks and special drinks were really appreciated. The room decorations with the wine histories / business books and mid-century furniture and lighting made for a wonderful space to relax in. The bed was very comfortable.

The cozy casita was absolutely amazing. It was perfect for my weekend getaway. I had plans in emeryville it was very close. The details of the casita were well thought out. I felt the love that was put in. Would definitely stay again.

Supada's place was the perfect spot for what we needed. It was quiet, offered walkable access to everything, and was by far the most reasonably priced Airbnb in the area. Also, Superhost indeed! The communication was always clear and timely. Thank you, Supada!

Emma was extremely responsive and very pleasant and kind to deal with. She had helpful photos of the home and where to enter, including door codes, as well as helpful labels throughout the home! I was impressed with her organization and response time! The fridge went out while we were there, despite being brand new, and Emma refunded us for the groceries we bought that went bad, which I was very happy with. I did think there were two beds in the one bedroom based on the photos, but realized if I had paid more attention I would have known it was the same bed with different blankets. This photo did throw me off. Otherwise, the home is very much as advertised. The area is very safe and walkable with a gorgeous park across the street with lots to do, and great access to multiple forms of transportation. It is also within half an hour of the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, China Town, and other tourist attractions. We had a fantastic trip and would love to come back!

Sharon’s apartment was everything we expected and more! We had plenty of space, we loved the decor inside and the views of the city and the bay were spectacular. The living space and bedrooms were super comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen had everything we needed to make coffee and meals. The neighborhood was super quiet and we loved all the great cafes, restaurants, and markets all within just a few blocks. We would love to stay here again!

The place was excellent placed for what we wanted to do. We got to see a lot of things in the two days we stayed in there.

My daughter and I just spent four nights at this outstanding Airbnb. The location is not to be beat, the outdoor living area is beyond phenomenal for San Francisco and the home is spacious and beautiful and well stocked. The area feels and is very safe and absolutely lovely. Was wonderful to have access to the cable cars right at the corner. Ray was so helpful and responsive and shared so much wonderful information. This was truly beyond our expectations and I highly recommend this wonderful place! Thank you to such amazing hosts for helping make our vacation all that much better!

Lovely place in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Amazing views if you walk two blocks north. You can walk to the Lyon steps which has lovely views of the bay and stunning homes surrounding it . Fillmore St has a lot of shops and restaurants and is a fairly flat walk from the apartment. Get a croissant at La Boulange on Pine St. absolutely fabulous.

The house is very suitable for families, the surrounding facilities are complete, the only regret is that parking is a little inconvenient.

We had the best time in San Francisco and it was largely because of our accommodations at Drew’s place. The location is ideal for touring the city, the quaint roof top happy hour was a nice touch, the bed was super comfortable and the suite was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was helpful with a map and ideas of things to do around the city, and we were able to leave our luggage with the bellhop before check in time. You can’t get better than this place! We would absolutely come back and stay here again.

Had a great stay at Carly & Allies home. The sisters are fantastic at communicating and made very clear instructions. The beds were very comfortable and the area is very walkable. Also some great restaurants were near by. Had a great stay and would highly recommend staying here. Thank you for making a home away from home.

I loved staying at Clinton's place!! the apartment was beautiful, spotless, and the views are unmatched. Nothing like watching the sunset over the Golden Gate Bridge from the roof terrace. Thank you Clinton! You are a great host!!.. I highly recommend this stay!!

We had a fantastic stay! The place was impeccably clean, very quiet, and cozy. It's in a prime location with plenty of outdoor activities and restaurants just a short walk away. Plus, Andrew was super communicative and offered excellent local recommendations and tips!

Ellen’s place is a true gem—spacious, well-appointed, and in a fantastic walkable location to lots of restaurants and shops. The décor is charming and felt warm and welcoming, far from the typical rental. We had wonderful weather and loved sitting on back patio where we could even see the Golden Gate (a rare find!). Ellen was great to work with – very responsive and accommodating, making our stay seamless. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable home with three generous bedrooms and a dedicated parking space (so rare). We hope to stay again.
