Lake house holiday rentals in Loch Tay

Eight of us stayed over New Year. We were a mixture of ages (+ a four legged member) and the house worked perfectly for us. The location was perfect with a couple of options for eating and drinking within easy walking distances. The house is beautiful with stunning views and very well kitted out. It is a large house but had a very cosy feel which we all commented on. Highly recommend a stay here.

The lodge was unbelievably beautiful and the pictures don’t do it justice. Felt like a dream and the host was great. Made sure we had what we needed for a peaceful and pleasant stay. Probably one of the best views we’ve had while enjoying our breakfast. Would absolutely recommend East Lodge and will have to come back

We had the most wonderful stay at this property with our family and honestly didn’t want to leave! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so welcoming and cozy. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like home.Thank you Hannah!

We have a lovely stay and enjoyed the amazing views!! Elizabeth was incredibly responsive and quick to help when we needed anything. We would highly recommend! There are two small things to just be aware of in advance. 1) There are quite a few stairs getting down to the home. Just a caution for anyone with mobility impairments. 2) Selecting “get directions” through Apple Maps or Google Maps in the listing link does not take you to the correct place, nor does manually typing the address. You can get there by using the home’s coordinates or searching for Auchenheglish Mid Lodge.

We can’t say enough good about this beautiful space. The suite and grounds were Prestine. Decor is beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The overall space was very comfortable for 2 couples. We will happily recommend this suite and area to all friends and family travelling to Scotland.

The accommodation has everything you need and a lot more besides. It’s incredibly comfortable in every aspect. Views from the decking of the loch are stunning. We had a most enjoyable stay and highly recommend to anyone wanting a luxury accommodation in a beautiful and tranquil location.

We had a lovely stay, at this gorgeous picturesque cottage. We enjoyed the artwork, the walks from the door, the treats that were left for us and the log fire! The rooms all had en suite which was great for a large party.

Lovely, well kept and presented home. Everything you need. Close to town (easy walk) and great walks nearby. Short drive to the base of Ben Nevis. Recommend the Larder Cafe, next to the Highland Soap Co. Only about 15 minutes walk. Great food!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is so peaceful and the surrounding area breathtaking. The house itself is superb and well equipped to service a large number with several bedrooms and several bathroom with a well equipped kitchen. Our only issue was trying to locate the house on arrival but it’s worth the journey

What a wonderful place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ederline Farm. The cottage and surroundings were beautiful. A real home away from home feel. Willa was a wonderful host and the kayaking on the Loch was one of our favourite activities to do. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful holiday, we are already looking to plan a return visit!

Stunning home but the views are the main attraction! Brenda helped me have the most stunning small family wedding and the photos I have are gorgeous. My family loved each of their rooms they are really modern and the beds nice and firm. Thank you Brenda!

10/10 Stay! We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Sir Stuart’s house. Everything was perfect from start to finish—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable for the whole family. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, going above and beyond by giving us a personal tour of Fingask, which was a real highlight of the trip. We all loved it so much that we’re already looking at dates to return once the weather warms up. Highly recommend!

Lovely cottage, very comfortable and well-equipped, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Peaceful rural area with some nice walks and local wildlife around. The pool and jacuzzi were also super clean and a great addition. Highly recommended!

A Perfect Highland Retreat – Stunning Views & Thoughtful Touches Our stay at this charming cottage was nothing short of breathtaking. The views were spectacular, with wildlife right outside the living room window—it was so therapeutic to simply sit inside and take it all in. The cottage itself was incredibly well-equipped. The amount of cookware, tableware, and glassware was unbelievable—everything we could possibly need (and more!) was provided, making meals and relaxing evenings effortless. Henry was a great host—friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and his kindness truly made our experience special. We couldn’t have asked for a more idyllic getaway and would love to return one day. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay, the East Wing is far larger than we expected, whilst remaining extremely cosy & quirky with lots of art work, blankets, games, etc. It only sleeps 6 but the living spaces are roomy enough for 8+ people! Washing machine and central heating were unexpected benefits having recently been renovated, without losing any of its charm. Already thinking about when we can next visit!

Very clean and spacious house 10 min. From Oban. Nice bar and restaurant next door. Check in and out were easy and Hazel communicated very well. I would definitely recommend.

It's one of beautiful airbnb property I stayed till now, the location is amazing with beautiful lake , words and pictures can't describe the location. one the best property in Scotland if you want a relaxed and peaceful holiday with all facilities. Vitali the helper was very kind to show around. will definitely stay again in future if I happen to be in Scotland.
