This place was nothing short of amazing. The photos did not do it justice, as soon as we opened the door we were impressed. The room was immaculate, the bed and linen was great quality and the room smelt amazing. We enjoyed a wine tasting where we were easily able to walk back to our room, there was also a picnic basket that we took out and enjoyed some wine while still being at the vineyard. I would stay here again and certainly would recommend it to anyone who is looking to enjoy a peaceful environment.

Jim and Louisa’s pod is a perfect private Haven, walking disrance to the beach, beautiful garden for a little dog to run out at the front, and the pod had all the amenities needed for a relaxing getaway. The hot spa at night looking at the stars is a must. Definitely recommend!

What a little gem of a place! Absolutely loved the Provincial cottage at Belle Le Vie. It looks exactly as the photos and description. It was super clean, cosy and comfy. With a forest view, very private from nearby cottages, you could hear the birds and rustling of the trees. The place has netflix to enjoy at your leisure and the spa was great for two people. Breakfast was also a nice touch, with home made loaf of bread, muesli, fruit, yoghurt, milk, tea & Map pod coffee machine. We will definitely reccommend and return to this goegeous cottage. Absolutely charming little cottage abode full of character! we absolutely adored our stay here, and the bathtub was just heavenly! so much care and attention to detail, from hand written notes to a generously equipped kitchen with treats to boot! treat yourself to this magical stay ✨

We stayed two nights at the Gate House Cottage. It was perfect! The cottage was very clean and had beautiful furnishings and decor. The architecture and stain glass windows were gorgeous. I am a fussy person and I couldn’t fault it. Quiet. Super comfy bed. All the little extra touches and yum breakfast supplies. Everything we needed for our stay. We have stayed at the Island many times and this was our first st Rhyll. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Great stay, short drive to the beach. Spa and sauna were easy to use with clear instructions from Paul on how to use both. Complete privacy separate the main house to the back where the bungalow is Would definitely come back again :)

Joleen and I loved Jan’s place. Honestly it was well worth every penny. We really appreciate the time and effort you have put to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. We will definitely come back, thank you Jan and Pete!

Such a fab little cabin and location! Everything you need for a relaxing stay and the property itself is so much fun for kids (and adults)! Our kids absolutely loved the basketball court, the trampoline and swimming pool & spa. Peter was very friendly and switched on the hot tub for me. The grounds and cabin itself are kept really well. The beds are comfy, the split ac/heater works quickly and the kitchen has all the latest appliances to ensure you have an easy stay. Would definitely recommend and return!

Great little cottage in a beautiful bush setting. Plenty of space for two couples, with comfy beds and everything we needed for a relaxed stay. Peaceful location, yet still an easy drive to Lorne. We really enjoyed our time here!

I couldn’t speak highly enough of Fiona’s amazing farm stay! Such a beautiful cottage in an amazing location. So peaceful and relaxing, my fiancé and I wish we could live here! Everything about the stay is as advertised and so much more. Fiona is a great host and did an amazing job organising a beautiful bouquet of native flowers and a bottle of champagne on arrival for my fiancé. My dog had so much fun on the property. Rustic, charming, intimate cabin nestled on a hobby farm made me feel down to earth again. Roaring fire, home-made cookies and easygoing owners welcomed us after exploring the very many dog-friendly trails and gardens in the area. Big thank you, just what we needed.

The log cabin, surroundings and views were amazing. Both rooms comfortably appointed and the kitchen and dining area well laid out and functional. There is a steep gravel driveway leading up to the carport, so if you have a city car, be careful when driving up, especially if it is raining. There’s some steep stairs up to the cabin, but not too much of an issue. The cabin itself is very comfortable and with the ducted heating and fireplace in the lounge room it’s very cozy. The rooms have their own air conditioning to warm things up as well. The views are absolutely stunning especially in the morning. Coffee on the enclosed veranda with those views are definitely worth it. It is a bit of a drive up and down the mountain to get to places, but there are also very nice places close by to get food and breakfast in the morning. There’s a botanical garden nearby in Olinda which is a must see.

We had a fantastic stay at Mt Madison over the weekend! Sharnie was a great host—very prompt and easy to communicate with. The place was amazing: clean, beautifully set up, and incredibly comfortable. We had one of the best sleeps we’ve had in a long time. Even our chocolate poodle, Lily, felt right at home and slept soundly in her own little bed we brought along. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing and pet-friendly getaway

I really enjoyed my stay and really appreciated the quiet serenity and privacy offered at Botanica Retreat. The gardens are beautiful offering a very peaceful setting and was exactly what I needed for my break. It’s very close to the village, close to walking paths and has everything you need. It’s very homey, beautifully appointed furniture, linens, decor etc, and Karen offers some really nice touches to make it feel like home. Will definitely be back!

Red and his family were so welcoming and friendly . Just a lovely place to stay close to the Bells Beach WSL surf competition which we were there for. If you are here for the surf - this is your place to stay . Red was easy going and a cool guy . Loved that we could walk to the surf competition- though the 25 min hike is only for the once who can jump fences and walk in bush - just up my alley . Still if you don’t want to walk the drive is a few minutes to the beach. Thank you Red - hopefully we will be back next year. Keep singing and playing your guitar - you are darn great at it . The perfect little hideaway tucked just outside the centre of Woodend, this little cottage was absolutely delightful. The wood fire made it super cosy inside on cold nights, the beds very comfy with beautiful linen sheets and the overall country ambience was just what we needed. The local roos paid a visit most mornings and the views over the dam with the ducks at sunrise and sunset was just beautiful. This place was our favourite accommodation of our whole trip.

Really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was perfect - really cosy, comfy beds and sofa and the kitchen had all the appliances and equipment you need. The location is lovely with a wonderful aspect to wake up to each morning. Having the Domino Trail on your doorstep was an added bonus. We also really appreciated that our hosts went to the trouble of providing good quality fixtures and items in the cottage. It meant everything worked and it was a pleasure to stay there. Such a beautiful part of the world. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. If we’d realised it is such a beautiful area we would have stayed longer than one night. Well worth the money with so many options. A great place for a family holiday. The unit was perfect and so clean. Highly recommend staying here.

My friends and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hidden Valley House over the long weekend. It rained all weekend and it was the perfect location to cozy up by the fire. The cabin itself is very beautiful and the large windows looking out to the view make you feel like you are sitting right among the trees. James was extremely helpful before our stay, he called me to explain all of the details that we needed to know about the house. The location is not too far from Melbourne, but feels very secluded and surrounded by nature. We even spotted a kangaroo and a koala on the property while we were there! We were a little bit apprehensive about the composting toilet, but it was totally fine and it was very cool to know that the house is completely off the grid. We would love to visit again in the future!

We stayed at the Myrtle Loft, it is absolutely so beautiful! Lewis has been a wonderful host and very communicative! Every room is equipped with a heating device, only the living room you’d have to know how to start and operate a fireplace.
