Holiday rentals with beach access in Leiden

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Linda is a perfect host and communicated with us before, during and after our stay, answering all our questions. Finding the property and checking in was easy. The location is a very quiet residential area, with reliable transport links (tram and bus) to all the major sights of interest, shopping centre and railway stations. The property itself is a beautiful art deco apartment which retains a lot of its original features, without sacrificing 21st century comfort and amenities. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and has everything you need to prepare and cook a full meal and there is a dishwasher (hurray!). Shower is great with an unfailing supply of hot water and having a washing machine and tumble drier was a real bonus as we arrived with a lot of laundry. The neighbours were friendly. If we come back to Den Haag, we hope to stay here again as it's a great base from which to explore both city and seaside.

We stayed with our dog for 4 nights in the accommodation and felt right at home. Brigitte was a great host who was always available! The stand can be reached on foot in 15-20 minutes. For a few days off, we would book the accommodation again and again, as you can rest very well here :)

The flat is in a lovely 17th century house on the canal. It is a 15 minute walk from the station which is very convenient if you’re travelling around to other places as we did. Marjan is very nice and communicative.

We slept three nights at the Bubblehouse. The hosting was super warm. Yvonne was available and very kind throughout our stay. The house and location is just beautiful. The beautiful tranquility of the countryside surrounded by tulip fields. My partner and I recommend it!

We stayed 4 nights at Niels' and enjoyed every second! Niels was very flexible with the check in, gave us a great introduction and also provided us directly with useful tips regarding the area. In addition, he always responded directly when we had a question. The apartment was great! Everything extremely clean and perfectly equipped. The sea view and the short distance to the beach were the absolute highlights for us. We can absolutely recommend a stay and will definitely come back!

We had a lovely week at the end of February. Sometimes it was a little fresh in the apartment, but Sylvia immediately improved that. The location of the apartment is top, everything is within easy reach . The communication was always prompt and very nice. The apartment is hard of hearing, but that didn't bother us at all, it is also pointed out, so we were prepared.

Elisabeth was a fantastic host. Her place was the perfect quaint home during our return visit to Wassenaar. Even though we knew the area well, Elisabeth gave us new recommendations and was very inviting to the area. She walked through everything with us upon arrival and the kids loved the idea of the (monk)key. Her home was well kept and it felt like home. The church bells in the morning was the perfect complement to waking up and enjoying that cup of coffee on the back patio. The home is conveniently located walking distance to local restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend Elisabeth if you ever find yourself in the area. After living here for some time it was nice to be back in Wassenaar to visit. When we visit again we will be sure to stay with Elisabeth.

This is a lovely home in a quiet and stunning setting on the water. Great for families with kids. This is a great location to explore the lake from and has lots of amenities available for the guests to keep kids busy. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend a stay here.

Tulipa was such a gorgeous place to stay. It is beautifully finished and very comfortable. We stayed on a family holiday with three generations and ten total people - and everyone was perfectly accommodated for. The en-suites are high end, the beds are very comfortable and the open space upstairs is lovely. There’s lots of free on-street parking, and it’s a few minutes walk to a bus stop which takes you to a train station. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent stay at Karin's, in a nice, spacious, very clean apartment. The private terrace is an asset. Communication was excellent and Karin was always very responsive. The seaside resort of Noordwijk is 10 minutes away by car. Be careful if you are a light sleeper, there are many animals at Karin's (horses, chickens, dog) and they wake up early!

We felt comfortable right from the start. The tiny house is very tastefully decorated. It has everything you need, but no unnecessary junk. Good kitchen equipment. Easy check in and out with key box.

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived at a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. What a wonderful place to stay. The house is fantastic and in a wonderful location. We used as a base for visiting Efteling as well as all the local towns in the area. A truly magical space! The hosts were always on hand for advice and information. Corrie met us on arrival and greeted us with a super tasty cake also. Cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you!

The location was very good, you can be on the beach in 3 minutes. It was very secluded. Good bus connections for those who come by public transport. On parallel boulevard plenty of great restaurants plus a shopping street. Not so big shell selection on the beach, but if you get up early in the morning you have better chances. Beautiful level beach well suited for long walks.

We had a lovely long weekend in Zandvoort. For a few days, the apartment is absolutely sufficient, the village center is right outside the front door and it is also only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Despite the attic and bright sunshine, it was quite cool when the blinds remained closed. Suus was always available for questions. Communication was very straightforward right from the beginning. Absolutely recommended for a relaxing time in Zandvoort.

Staying at Tess’s place felt like being at home, in the best way. The interior is just like the photos; colorful and spacious and cozy. Tess was a wonderful host, giving space but always responding quickly. The location was perfect, I found walking the streets and canals nearby to be so peaceful, while the city center (few minutes walk away) was invigorating and vibrant. It is a pleasant 15 minute walk to train station, and grocery is right around the corner. Lots of small coffee shops as you wander around. I loved coming home at the end of the day (or in the middle of the day just to enjoy the sunlight and the space). Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Wanting to take a VAN + Bike getaway in the Netherlands , Margriet's place immediately interested us. It is well located (North Sea, Keukenoff, Amsterdam, Delft ....,) ,in a very quiet area. It is equipped with all the essentials, clean .... and totally matches the description made. We were very well received by Margriet who gave us a check-in gift and also a departure gift. Despite the language barrier, we were able to communicate easily. It felt very available and very discreet at the same time. We enjoyed our stay. Mireille and André

We had a wonderful time, the cottage is very nice and cozy, equipped with all comforts and with a large balcony on the sunny side. The nodes for cycling are everywhere. A beautiful environment between the great rivers. Bicycles to borrow are available in the shed ( with a swallow nest) Our stay in one word:: great. Thank👏😀 you Goodbye.

We loved everything about our stay at the Studio. The picturesque town of Uitgeest left a very warm feeling in our hearts, the studio was very cosy with nicely thought out details and a comfortable bed. We would have loved to spend more time here exploring.

Everything was just as expected! Really a nice place to visit and worth returning to.
