Cute clean house. Comfy beds and a clean hot tub. Enjoyed the deer walking around outside. Whitney was extremely nice and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

The house was amazing as well as the surrounding area. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking in the luray area. Close to everything luray has to offer . The house was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. we will most definitely be back

We had a great stay at Heather Mary's place! The location is phenomenal for exploring everything Berkeley Springs has to offer - we were able to leave our car in the driveway and walk to everything. The house has everything you could possibly need, was incredibly well organized, and was spacious enough for our party of 5 (1 grandma, 2 parents, and 2 kids). Our kids already keep asking when we can "go back to the cottage"!

This house is a gem! The location allows for privacy and great hikes while still being close enough to Luray and Sperryville for restaurants and activities. I’d absolutely return. The house was clean and as advertised. The hosts were very responsive! The creek on the property was such a lovely feature. The only note I’d like to make is the area must have had a lot of rain right before our visit. To access the house, you drive over a very small concrete bridge over the creek. When we arrived the water was over the bridge, and probably 5 or so inches at its deepest. We had a sedan and weren’t comfortable driving over. Jerry quickly gave us alternate directions, so all in all in worked out and provided some excitement :). But if there’s been a lot of rain and you have a low car, be aware!

A quirky and fun experience. James home gives you an updated kitchen and bathroom with a quaint old house feel. The beds are comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the short walk to town. The driveway was steep and we appreciated the ability to park in the lower spot also available. The little details like a HDMI in a basket and all the cleaning supplies was great. Having three small bedrooms for our group at this price was perfect.

The river is beautiful and the location is so quiet and private. We were able to see the bald eagle and catch fish, etc. Highly recommend if you want a weekend in nature and just time to relax and unwind!

We had an amazing girls' weekend! The house was cozy, spotless and perfect for our group. Dolly & Brendan were super responsive and gave us terrific recommendations for local restaurants and wineries - everything we tried was a hit. We loved being able to sit outside and unwind by the firepit. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful old farmhouse overlooking the vineyard. Only a couple minutes walk to the Muse Winery. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The power was out for a few hours the morning of our last day without communication until after it was back on. I'm assuming there is an electric well pump since water pressure dropped significantly during that time.

You would be hard pressed to find a better place to stay. The house was very comfortable and relaxing. When we’re back in the area this will be our go to place.

One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed at! Perfect location for our few days at Shenandoah National Park. Property is quiet, peaceful, lovely porch with comfortable seating, and pet friendly. The cottage was immaculately clean, organized, and cozy. Comfortable bed, fully stocked kitchenware, binder of local recommendations and information about the property, light switches were even labeled so we didn’t have to go searching for the right one. The extra living space next to bedrooms has a cabinet of board games we enjoyed, and would be perfect space for kids to play. Hosts are also extremely communicative and kind. On the last night of our stay there was a thunderstorm with tornado possibility, and Valerie kept in touch to ease our concerns and coordinated a plan for us to join them in a neighbors basement should the weather worsen. Luckily it did not progress that far, but we really appreciated Valerie’s quick responses and willingness to help. Cannot recommend this spot enough!

Absolutely wonderful stay! Josh and Judy were excellent hosts—friendly, responsive, and made everything so easy from check-in to check-out. The cottage itself was the perfect amount of space for our visit and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in the DC area. The location couldn’t be better! The neighborhood is incredibly safe, and we loved being able to walk to so many phenomenal restaurants nearby. Having access to the garage was a huge bonus and made our trip so much more convenient and enjoyable. We love Alexandria and can’t wait to stay at Josh and Judy’s cottage again during our next visit. Highly recommend!

This place is a great gateway for a family with dogs. The pups loved it as much as us! Stunning views, extremely private and peaceful. The hosts were wonderful. I’d recommend this spot to anyone.

A cozy, peaceful, and secluded escape in the mountains! There were some severe thunderstorms in the area while we were visiting, which misted the mountain view and also reset the electricity (Wifi out and hot tub got cool again by the time we noticed). Kitchen is stocked with appliances. The place is decorated beautifully and looks just like the photos. We ran into a few issues during our stay but Olivia and team were very responsive, friendly, and quick to address the issues. Looking forward to staying with Olivia again!

It was a great place for our family to all stay in one spot during a family wedding event. The area is nice and walkable. Very easy to get to downtown. The house has everything you need.

Exact description! If your looking for peace and quiet, you found it! Preston and his family were great hosts. Communicated very easily. Also gave great recommendations for local ideas of travel. The orange tabby cat outside the door every day was extra special. She warmed my heart! The bathroom floored was heated, an extra bonus! Thank you Preston and family!

We are so happy we stayed in this beautiful home. Spotlessly clean and the host supplied coffee, water and other treats, like toiletries in case we had forgotten toothpaste or shaving cream. Close to good restaurants and beautiful parks. Would definitely stay here again.

Cottage in the Plains was terrific! Emily communicated well and made things simple. We loved the beautiful scenery and surroundings of Virginia horse country. Everything was so peaceful! We had a 4-day event in Middleburg and this location was perfect to save time and money compared to those who stayed in local hotels. Plus, the four of us were able to spend causal time together that we wouldn't have in a hotel. Middleburg is very quaint with a nice diversity of shops and restaurants. I highly recommend Cottage in the Plains!

We had a wonderful stay at this converted historic cottage, which had all the modern amenities and preserved historic charm. It is just a stone's throw from Wheatland Springs Brewery, and near to several charming towns. I will note that there is not a walkway to get up to the house, which could cause a problem if you have mobility issues. Thank you for a great stay!

This farmhouse cottage was perfect for our anniversary weekend getaway! The space is just beautiful, and the location is convenient. While you’re a short drive from shopping, restaurants, and vineyards, the cottage is tucked away on a quiet country road in a way that makes you feel “away from it all”. Stephanie provided us with eggs from her chicken coop, and we loved making breakfast in the mornings before heading out for wine tasting and shopping :) Stephanie was also a very responsive host which is always appreciated. We highly recommend booking this cottage, and we hope to be back soon!
