Holiday rentals with lake access in Lavon Lake

The home was great, absolutely stellar host and I would encourage anyone to stay here! But this trip was just about fishing so I have a few comments that might help others if bank fishing is your primary goal. If you're looking to catch smaller fish for eating, then this location is ideal. The pier that extends out to the water is both a huge positive and a potential negative. It allows you to cast out further if you want to, but unfortunately since it's right in the middle of your fishing area, fish can easily swim into the legs of the pier and get wrapped around the pier legs with the line potentially getting snagged or broke. I lost an incredibly large fish due to the long pier, but it was still an incredible experience to have such a large fish on the line. There is no doubt, if the pier was not there this would be a premier location to bank fish Lake Tawakoni. When I come back, I may bring a boat. :)

This house is beautiful and amazing. My family and I stayed a week and wish we were able to stay longer. Having the pool added to the overall experience with the house, although if they didn’t have a pool this would still be a prestine house. The beds were very comfortable and thr bathrooms were nice especially the master! Highly recommend staying at this local gem! Will be booking again in the future. Also the communication between the host was perfect, answered any questions and responded quickly.

A peaceful, beautiful and convenient location! Fantastic amenities accompanied by modern and clean interior and exterior furnishings. The pool is an incredible reprieve on a hot Texas day with a serene view of the natural beauty of the adjoining park. A true hidden gem that provides extraordinary ease of access to the entire metroplex of DFW. This location should be recommended to everyone! Keith is an extremely friendly host and quick to communicate!

Great location and Roxanne was very accommodating and responsive. House was very comfortable and fit our large group well!

Love staying at Jennifer’s place. Like the space, the proximity, the neighbors on either side, and when there was an issue Jennifer was immediately on top of it.

I normally don’t take the time to leave a review but my family and I felt this stay was for sure very memorable and it had a lot to do with where we stayed. We flew into Dallas to bring Thanksgiving to our oldest who recently joined the military. From the time of check in we felt such earth in this house. The host had remember the purpose of our trip and left my son and husband a thank you note for their service and wish us a happy Thanksgiving. They were very responsive when any questions came up. We were able to cook a really nice meal since the kitchen had all we needed to cook. I love the view of the back porch and lake as I made homemade meals for the family. I love the fireplace for the colder mornings and afternoons. The backyard was fenced so you had privacy. The bathrooms were stocked with brand name toiletries and plenty of towels. The beds were very comfy. All together, we had an amazing time and hope to be back to this property and highly recommend it for anyone traveling

SailingSaddle Ranch cottage is a great little farm house with excellent views! It’s so peaceful there. This lovely two bedroom cottage was perfect for our stay with our grandson in the country. Lots of room to run, play and explore! Two great porches for relaxing in the serene surroundings ! Highly recommend!! Hope we can return soon.

The apartment was very clean, well equipped, comfortable, well decorated, easy to access, and close to the highway. The bed was cozy, shower was huge, and felt very spacious and modern. AC worked well the whole time, laundry conveniently in unit, and close by to the garage which always had spots open. The walking trails around the canal and adjacent lake made for a nice way to get steps in after work. I enjoyed my stay and if I am back in DFW for business I will be staying again!

Loved staying here! Very comfortable, clean space. Zoe was very helpful and gave amazing directions around the property. It’s in a convenient spot next to restaurants, bodegas and anything else you could need. I highly recommend this place!

I had a wonderful stay. I spent four months here on a business trip, working remotely. The location was excellent; it was quiet, and Asongue was very friendly. I highly recommend it.

I stayed in just the guest house of this property where the main property is also an AirBnB. If you have a large group, this is a great location to rent both and a beautiful area in back to host nice group and guests. Separated nicely from other properties for a nice experience with lots of space and privacy.

My husband and I decided to spend a few days alone after our courthouse wedding. It was our first time in an Airbnb, and it was perfect. Lekien always answered all our questions and fast. The place is a very beautiful, you feel at home. 10/10 👌🥂

It was PERFECT. Very cozy, beautiful, comfortable, and Mario thought of EVERYTHING. He even provided a kennel in the living room to put our two dogs, a Chihuahua mix, and an Austrailian Shepherd, so we didn't have to lug our big kennels in from the truck. And the biggest deal for me: DIMMER SWITCHES! Do you know how many times I have wished for dimmer switches on lighting at AirBnB's? And Mario had them on EVERY ceiling light AND in the bathroom! I'm a blue-eyed guy, a little light sensitive at night and this and other features made me so comfortable! We had a dear friend over to dinner and Mario had everything in the kitchen we needed to cook grass-fed rib eye steaks! I found the bed extremely comfortable. No back problems at all the next morning. Heads up for some folks, it is a 3rd floor unit, which I loved because of the deck off the back, but for some you will need to take your time on the stairs. However, my friend's 80+ year old mother was able to make it up with some help.

Ace was an amazing host! The communication was top tier! The place was so beautiful and clean! It’s in a great location and well worth the price! I’ll definitely stay here again!

Beautiful little apartment with an amazing view! And such a great location, only a couple minutes drive to the convention center and restaurants. And The hosts were so helpful and quick to respond to questions, I would definitely recommend saying here.

Great location! Brandon's place was perfect for our family and small furry family members too. The sunsets are beautiful and there is lots to do nearby. The place was clean and the front porch is excellent for a some grilling and hanging. We will be back!

Kayla was an exceptional host. Everything was as stated or better. Very peaceful. They went out of their way to ensure we had all the extras. I would definitely recommend it! 💯 We will be staying again!

Tiny Bluebird was just perfect! The decor was fun and unique and the bed was very comfy! The host was terrific and responsive to any question. Woukd definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. The sound system is loud, we loved it! We pretty much watched movies most of the time. The place itself is so comfy and cozy. I had never stayed at a place where snacks and drinks were offered. It felt like we were being pampered. We honestly felt at home. The host was super friendly and responsive. We hope to be back soon!

The house was lovely and just described… Le Ann was extremely accommodating and very responsive. We would definitely stay here again.

Went for a couple of nights with my husband. Our 13 year old son and his friend came as well. House was easy to find and check in. House is very well maintained. Master bedroom and bath do not have AC only living room and other room do. We would have liked to shut our door for a little privacy but in the Summer it was just a little too hot for me. Master does have a good ceiling fan and a stand up fan if you don't run hot like me you will be okay. My husband was fine temperature wise. My husband and boys were able to fish and get in the water and had fun! Caught a small bass, couple of small cats, and perch. We also rented a jon boat which was convenient. Overall great stay for a few nights to relax!
