Cottage holiday rentals in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria - Cuenca del Guiniguada

We had a great stay with our two young kids. Really happy we chose to base ourselves a bit higher up and off the beaten track, got to explore a different side of the island. The home is very cosy and had everything we needed. The kids loved the patio/garden and we enjoyed a soak in the hot tub after putting them to bed. Lovely local wine and cheese on arrival as well, really made us feel welcome. Thank you!

un lieu magique... en altitude 1008 m donc peut être frais suivant la saison. la jacuzzi est une bénédiction et les 4-5 terrasse permettent de choisir le moment parfait pour profiter de la vue.... la voisine la Perdrix Rouge.... Et tous les autres oiseaux sont un bonheur.... Rustique, authentique et de qualité pour une retraite bienfaisante.... Merci Alejandro de partager ce lieu.....

La estancia ha sido maravillosa. Estaba todo muy limpio y ordenado, un lugar para descansar y desconectar, y disfrutar de la tranquilidad. Hay sitios para caminar y pasear por la naturaleza y el pueblo está muy cerca caminando. La cama es super cómoda. Había todo lo necesario para cocinar no faltaba ningún detalle. Lo recomiendo . Un sitio excelente.

We were travelling with two families (4 adults/4 kids) and enjoyed our stay in the beautiful finca a lot. Wonderful area, quite secluded location, very quiet, only one neighbor. Great view over the valley, nice location to explore the north of Gran Canaria. Friendly welcome by Antonio and Marta, who were always available during the stay. Very well-kept garden and plenty of play areas for the children. We highly recommend, thank you so much!

Cottage très sympa, bien situé à 10 min de Tejeda en voiture. Splendide vue sur les Roque Nublo et Roque Bentayga ! Jacuzzi sur la terrasse : excellent ! Ne pas monter en voiture car vous ne pourrez pas faire demi-tour. Se garer sur le terrain vague à gauche juste sous les maisons.

We spent a fantastic week in Sergio’s house with our family. Outside, we enjoyed the glamorous roof terrace, bbq and hot tub. Inside, the view on Arucas and the sea was fantastic, both day and night. The atmosphere of the house is friendly and accommodating, with cheerful paintings and lovely bedding. We weren’t bothered at all by the few hens around, the kids loved them. Sergio was always very quick to reply, very friendly and proactive. He offered precious advise on outings to the beautiful scenery closeby. We also went to various beaches and had a great time there. This lovely house is a great place for a family, but also for couples or other groups who are looking for a warm, quiet and accommodating base for fun activities on Gran Canary!

Great stay in the house. A quite and peaceful place. House as describe: nice decoration, beautiful garden and all amenities (BBQ, Jacuzzi, stove...). Oscar is a super host, he gives us some advice about what to visit and always answer to our questions quickly. We really recommend this place.

Der Aufenthalt bei Miguel war super! Das Apartment ist wunderschön und ruhig gelegen, wir haben uns direkt wie zuhause gefühlt. Auch die Kommunikation war super einfach. Rundum toll!

This is a beautiful house with great amenities and a truly stunning view down towards the coast. We loved breakfasts out on the patio, and time in the pool which is maintained at the perfect temperature. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom well-appointed. It had everything we might need during our week long stay. Ramon met us at the airport to guide us to the property via a supermarket the first evening. He was very patient when the car hire desk was running slowly with only one staff member! This was extremely useful as I would say it would be very hard to find the property unaided the first time, as it is up a little lane at the far end of the village. It also needs you to go past the driveway and turn around just along the lane as it is a steep turn onto the drive itself. Having been shown it once, we had no problem with finding it again. We agree with others that a high wheelbase car is a good idea for the village roads. Overall Ramon’s place is highly recommended.

Absolutely loved Yedras villa. Stunning inside and out with super comfy beds. The pool is bigger than it looks in the photos too! Looking forward to coming back x

Tolle und saubere Wohnung mit perfekter Ausstattung und schöner Aussicht. Hector hat uns die Wohnung mit einer Grundausstattung zum Wohnen, inkl. Snacks, Früchten und Essentials wie Milch zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Es war sehr ruhig in der Gegend, man braucht jedoch auf jeden Fall ein Auto um mobil zu sein. Hierdurch erlebt man die schöne Landschaft in der Umgebung aber automatisch mit. Großes Plus waren auch die Klimaanlagen in den Schlaf- und Wohnzimmern. Die proaktive Kommunikation von Hector war ebenfalls klasse! Würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

A beautiful mountain home, great for exploring the mountain region of Gran Canaria, and perfect for a family. We had pretty bad weather, so the pellet stove to warm up the kitchen was *very* welcome! Ana offered local suggestions and left us some local goodies to try. We had some problems with hot water for showers, but Ana is sending someone to have a look. Beautiful views and a stunning garden.

We reisden voor de eerste keer naar Gran Canaria en wilden het eiland leren kennen in plaats van een typische zonvakantie. We hebben hele mooie dingen bezocht en gezien op Gran Canaria. Hierdoor waren we ook op zoek naar een authentieke verblijfplaats, ver weg van het massatoerisme in Maspalomas. En of we dat gevonden hebben ... Wauw, wauw, wauw! Wat een uitzicht vanop het dakterras of in de veranda. Je kijkt recht op een mooie vallei en ziet er elke dag nieuwe dingen (tip: gebruik de verrekijker uit de woning). Het wolkenspel in de vallei en de bergen is ook prachtig om te aanschouwen. De woning zelf is heel authentiek en erg gezellig ingericht. De hosts hebben hun best gedaan. Naast de witte muren met (typisch Spaanse) houten afwerking is er zoveel decoratie aanwezig dat je elke dag nieuwe dingen ontdekt. Het is zeker niet kitsch, maar 'et aangenaam om rond te turen vanuit de luie zetel. Er zijn verschillende hoekjes waar je als familie samen of even apart kan genieten. Top huis!

Wir haben uns in unserem Urlaub in Antonios Ferienwohnung super wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist schon geräumig, mit allem ausgestattet und vor allem perfekt sauber. Die Betten und Kissen sind sehr bequem. Der Ausblick aus dem Wohnzimmer ist einfach traumhaft. Es sieht wirklich alles so schön aus wie auf den Bildern. Vielen Dank Antonio!

This is a beautiful traditional house with everything you need for a relaxed holiday. We loved the sun terrace and the upstairs sitting room was a lovely place to relax in the chilly evenings. Lots of attention to detail and beautifully decorated throughout. The village shop and bar was great (not open all the time, check times locally) and we walked up to Santa Lucia a few times as well - great bakeries and other facilities. The only negative during our stay was some intrusive construction noise in the village which we understand is totally out of control of the host. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Salvadors place was fantastic however the place is extremely remote u will need a car as taxis wont arrive at the house all the time. Dont let that take from the places itself though its amazing. There is nothing in walking distance except one very nice restraunt and beautiful sights.

Wir hatten eine super schöne Woche in Ben und Carmens Haus und können die guten Bewertungen der anderen Gäste voll bestätigen. Die Unterkunft ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Doppelbett ist groß und sehr bequem. Auf der Terrasse mit dem kleinen Garten kann man bei schönem Wetter ganz wunderbar die herrliche Ruhe und den Blick auf Santa Brigida genießen. Mit einem kurzen Fußmarsch erreicht man schnell den Ort Santa Brigida, wo es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants gibt. Ben und Carmen waren tolle und aufmerksame Gastgeber, die uns mit leckeren Aufmerksamkeiten begrüßt und viele Tipps für unseren Besuch in Santa Brigida gegeben haben.

Das war unser erster Urlaub auf Gran Canaria, und dank der bezaubernden Unterkunft bestimmt auch nicht der Letzte. Die großzügige Terrasse mit Blick auf das Meer ist einfach traumhaft. Tag und Nacht wird man mit den Klängen der Wellen verwöhnt. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Essen zuberereiten ging problemlos, da die Ausstattung sehr vielfältig war. Das Badezimmer ist sehr geräumig und hat einen zusätzlichen Ausgang auf die seitliche Terrasse. Rundum ein gelungener Urlaub. Vielen Dank dafür, liebe Maria.

Incredible stay. One of the best airbnbs I've ever been to. Highly recommend. A general warning, it's a long windy drive to get anywhere from this home. It's worth it to me for the privacy and the space but if you're looking to see a lot of the island, it's not crazy accessible.

We had a wonderful 4 days at Casa Elea. and spent most of our time on the veranda with stunning views of the valley. I missed the house after we left. Getting there by motorbike was initially a bit of a challenge but we soon got to know the way. A path next to the house joins the trail connecting Santa Lucia to Tunte which have shops and restaurants. Communication with Esmerelda was very good and the neighbours were super helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out without our phones. I would not hesitate to recommend Casa Elea.

We had a really great time in María's accommodation. The contact with María was always very fast and friendly. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and we had a great time with our baby. The place is very nice and we recommend visiting the local restaurants and bars nearby. There is also a small supermarket just a 2 minute walk away where you can buy general groceries. We can fully recommend the accommodation.

Our family (with a 6-month baby) had the pleasure of staying in this house for 2.5 months, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The location is perfect—peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to everything we needed, but a car must be. The house is spacious, clean, and very well-equipped for both short and longer stays. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed, good kitchen, and the beautiful garden area. You have to like cats, as at least 6-8 lives in the garden - they are peaceful. The host was responsive and kind, always ready to help if we had any questions. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and relaxing place to stay.
