Our camp is off road, off grid, on the edge of the BWCA. 2 cabins, sauna, outdoor kitchen pavilion, fire pit, beach and dock on Fall Lake near Ely. 20 minutes to town, 3 million acres of wilderness out the door. Fish, canoe, swim, explore woods and lakes. Spend your time here or use as basecamp for backcountry trips. See deer, eagles, loons, moose, bear, or hear a wolf howl in the distance. LED lanterns, propane cookstoves and refrigeration, get water from lake, or nearby well. Life on the edge.

Rustic cabin overlooking Lake Vermilion with dock

The cabin is located on 3 acres with two other cabins that are rentals and a home that we live in. There are three large docks with boat parking for guests and power. It is about 25 steps down to the lake so we do not recommend staying here if you have mobility issues and want to get to the lake. There is a private fire pit just for this cabin as well as a shared fire pit at the beach. Nestled in the woods, but not on the lake; within a few miles of 5 public boat launches providing access to Lake Vermilion. Local bar/restaurants close by. Private and serene, located on the second story of the home's garage. Private entrance with a deck. Room for boat and snowmobile trailers. Small dogs welcomed meeting some general criteria.
