Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lake Vermilion

An excellent place to escape to pure relaxation and peace. We all enjoyed our time on Strand! Thank you to Deb, the caretaker for being so kind, helpful and even mailing back items the kids left.

My family and I had such an incredible stay at Jennifer’s lake house. It was the perfect combination of spacious, cozy, and private for us to spend our Christmas week there. The location and wintry weather had us feeling like we were in a snow globe. The house was even decorated for the season, and had more than enough room for the group we had. Makes me excited for the summer months, as I would absolutely book here again!

House was very clean, has lots of fun amenities, like a hot tub and indoor and outdoor saunas. Lake is very quite and peaceful. Kitchen has all the comforts of home with lots small appliance, cookware or bakeware you would need. Our family really had a lovely long weekend.

We had a beautiful week with beautiful weather at this wonderful home. Every morning we were greeted with the sunrise over the Lakefront. The house was just as described online and Joy was a great host and very responsive.

Another fantastic stay! We will keep coming back for the comfortable home and natural beauty of the area.

Thank you for sharing your paradise with us! Our family enjoyed the private, peaceful cabin. Thanks for having all the necessities well stocked. The kids enjoyed swimming and paddle boarding from the dock, fishing on Lake Vermillion and cooking dinner on the deck. The views were breathtaking! We were all sad to leave but plan to come again next year!

This was exactly what was presented in the listing and exactly what our little family needed. The cabin was clean, furnished wonderfully, and right on the lake with a great view. We went up to spend time not only on the lake but also in near by cities and the location was perfect. We were able to make a day trip to Ely and visit the International Wolf Center and the North American Bear Center one day and another day visited Bear Head State Park and Sudan Underground Mine. Lynn and Asad were extremely welcoming and helpful. We were able to spend 5-7 hours swimming on the beach at the lake and used the vintage paddle boat, and kayak. It was an all around great experience and my 13 year old daughter already has asked to make this trip a tradition each year. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael's lakeside retreat. The photos represented it well and we were especially pleased with the detailed directions for the route off the highway. The fireplace was a treat. Our only struggle was remembering which switches controlled which lights… even though many of them were labeled, we still had to guess/remember several times. The heaters in each room were effective and the kitchen was well-stocked. We certainly recommend Michael's North Bay Getaway.

Went to Vintage Vermilion with my buddies for our annual fishing trip, and it did not disappoint! Lake Vermilion is by far the best lake I have ever fished, and I am already wanting to come back. The space is perfect with many cabins, activities, and amenities. I would highly recommend two things to those coming here. Pack a lot of bug spray and get your groceries before coming to the cabin! The mosquitos are on a new level at Vermilion during the mornings and nights. The nearest grocery store is about a 40 minute drive away from the resort so be sure to stock up before hand! Would HIGHLY recommend this spot for fishing and a peaceful getaway!

We had a wonderful stay with 8 adults, 4 kids, 2 dogs! There were multiple living areas which was great for kids and adults to spread out as needed. Another highlight was all 12 of us fitting at the kitchen table. We rented a pontoon through the property manager which was another fun part of the weekend. We cooked all meals at the home which was well equipped to do so! The coffee area was darling and we also enjoyed the sun room! They really thought of everything here, would love to return!

Such a beautiful, secluded cabin! Great location, beautiful house and a beautiful view with lots of things to do!
