Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Placid

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in Wimberly. The house was easy to find-using the instructions listed in the check-in instructions. It was extremely clean and smelled fresh without being overpowering. The master bedroom linens were exceptional quality and made us feel at home, while our teenagers slept comfortably in the upstairs loft. Most things in the home were labeled and many had QR codes to access videos to explain functionality. We are already thinking about planning a trip back to this property.

We stayed here for our baby moon and it was perfect! So relaxing and peaceful. Thank you for all the wonderful recommendations and easy communication.

We had such an amazing time! We fell in love with this cabin! We loved our time so much we stood an extra night! Debbie was very responsive to our messages. I love how private this place is. We had such a relaxing time! We can’t wait to come back!

Great place! This is exactly the perfect spot if you wanted to get away and did not have any plans. It was very peaceful. The trail was empty when we arrived but had a lot of water the next day. There was a hot tub that was available and it was wonderful. Sean and Ren were great hosts.

Está a la orilla del Rio Guadalupe, rentamos tubos e hicimos un paseo inolvidable. Las piscinas muy limpias y mucho lugar para caminar en un ambiente natural. Lo visitamos 3 jovenes y un adulto mayor y todos la pasamos fenomenal. Definitivamente regresaríamos!

Awesome weekend getaway and exactly as advertised. Rare combination of history and modernity - you can picture yourself in the 1800s and then hop in the AC! We went to celebrate a birthday and found David’s place to be perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the goats, the local plums and goat cheese, and just wish we had more time to explore the area! Highly recommend for couples looking to escape for a weekend. David was friendly and informative. He lives on part of the property but you still feel secluded and private.

Wow this was such a great lay out and space for the square footage. super clean and in short driving distance to many places (HEB, restaurants and Greune). Neel was super responsive and detailed in the arrival notes. Would stay again for sure!

Jeffrey was so very accommodating and sweet. He went above and beyond for our stay. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and we got to see the longhorns right in the yard about 5 ft away from us. very spacious and very clean. we will definitely be back again. thank you Jeff for everything.

I absolutely loved staying at Andria's. The bungalow was beautifully decorated with extreme attention to detail. It had magnificently high ceilings, a fully equipped kitchen with everything I would possibly need, amazing views, gorgeous bathroom stocked with nicely scented toiletries, was incredibly private and peaceful and in perfectly pristine condition and very clean. The proximity to the delightfully charming downtown Wimberly was 15-20 minutes away on uncrowded roads. While I love the downtown area, it was nice to come back to the quiet and rural peaceful environment at Andria's. I was sad to leave but I will definitely be coming back to stay here again. I wish everywhere I travelled I could stay in an Andria styled and managed Airbnb. Thank you again Andria for such a wonderful stay!

One of my favorite airBNBs! Immaculate, full of plants and lights. Comfy bed, and it was bliss listening to the wind with the amazing view of the canyon. We loved hiking the trails on the property and the kids loved he trampoline.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. We brought our dog along and the Isaac & Mindi were cool with us having her off leash after communication. The outdoor shower was a hit! Tight space but was completely fine with us. Small detail to be aware of that the breaker shut off four different times. We had the microwave and coffee maker running. But then we just had the microwave running and the power still switched off. We ended up getting it working after switching the breaker. Other than that, real great stay! Owners weren't invasive and they were very responsive

If you want a peaceful comfortable place to stay this place is for you. Your host is very helpful in answering your questions before and after you get there. I added a new restaurant in the log book because of the great healthy food options. HEB is also a great choice for food. We were quite busy on our stay here but, relaxing on the last day allowed us to gather with the grandkids to enjoy the donkeys and cows they had, so much fun 😁 Only feed them carrots and cut up apples. I was distressed to learn that a previous guest fed them cigar butts and they died. You will definitely enjoy the privacy and quiet and cleanliness and the attention of your host when needed. 5 Stars from me.

Beautiful home in a quiet area. Enjoyed the area and local restaurants. Home was clean and comfortable with so many welcoming touches. Host was responsive and accommodating. Will stay again in the future!

This is an immaculate little cabin. Very rustic but well done. This place has amazing windows! They are super industrial quality and kept the cabin at a comfortable temperature. Nice bed with foam mattress which is always comfortable. You feel quite remote but close to everything. Beautiful view and lots of wildlife. You are definitely immersed in the Texas Hill Country in this little cabin. We were visiting for a wedding an a larger mirror in the bathroom would have made make-up easier but I'm not complaining! We enjoyed our stay.

Best air BNB ever! I cannot begin to explain how amazing this place was. The cabin was perfect for 2 people. The hosts are incredible. The most friendly people you could imagine. They were so accommodating. San Antonio was a short drive and we were able to avoid the chaos of staying in the city while still enjoying it. At night we could get anything we could need in the local town or by door dash. Our hosts made excellent recommendations and went above and beyond. Even Luna the cat made sure we had the best experience possible! It’s not possible to find a better deal for what was included with the stay. The cabin was stocked with whatever you could need and the pool area was amazing and we had unlimited access to it. I cannot recommend this place enough. It was our own amazing vacation oasis. They deserve more than a 5 star reviews. Truly an incredible stay that we will remember forever.

Ashley and Roman’s cabin is beautiful. So peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Location is perfect close to everything you might want to do but yet far enough from chaos and noise. You can see the sky at night very beautiful. My kids really appreciated the snacks and the s’mores station was a hit. Thank you for letting us stay in your house we will definitely be back.

This airbnb and this place by the water is the perfect getaway to unwind for our family of four. Beautiful and well kept, a cute and very clean cabin and hosts thought of every little thing their customers need. My boys loved all the games that were provided too. The outside looking through the lake/river was absolutely beautiful, they even have a hammock to relax. We truly enjoyed our stay in this property, we don't want to leave. Give this place a go if you want a relaxing weekend, nature and convenience.

Erin is an excellent host! We timed it right for the Texas Water Safari this trip and it was cool to watch! We have been staying with Erin since 2023 and she continues to make improvements and adjustments that enhance our stay. The property is unique, historic, and peaceful. We will definitely be back!

This place is the perfect peaceful escape in the hill country. The location is great with town being only about 8 minutes away yet there is plenty of privacy. The host is so sweet and the place was exactly as described. The bed is very comfortable and the hot tub was such a great relaxation. We will for sure be back soon!
