Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Norman

Stunning place by the lake - perfect for our family with small kids. We booked very last minute, and everything was great. Amy was super responsive and helpful, and sorted out some minor issues really quickly!

Loved staying here, it’s a cozy little spot right on the lake. Neighbors are so friendly, since there’s a shared dock, you do walk through the neighbors yard just a little to get on the dock. Loved waking up to the lake everyday. My son LOVED seeing fire flies and catching them. Only two things missing, the cushions for the outdoor patio furniture and bath mats to step on after a shower. The location is perfect, not far from Publix and general shopping needs. 10/10 would love to go back again :)

Such a wonderful time together with our adult children’s families, and a beautiful home with so many activities available to enjoy. We all loved it. Communication with Nikole was easy and efficient. We would to stay again sometime.

Absolutely beautiful home! The views from the porch are just amazing. The house was spotless and kitchen was very well equipped. Perfect home for a family vacation. Nice modern furniture and bed linens were good quality and comfy. Jessica was very helpful with any issues we had and quick to respond. Would highly recommend!!

We absolutely loved it! The house was very nice, clean and all the furniture (including the beds) were comfortable and cozy. The lake views were beautiful and there was plenty of things to do. We made amazing memories with our family!

The Driftwood Manor was a beautiful stay both inside and out pictures do not do it justice and it is located conveniently by alot of stores. The private beach is amazing to have and the house is incredible with great views. Would highly recommend

This was perfect for our small family reunion. We rented a boat (which was magical) and enjoyed the lake every day. We had a few minor problems but they responded immediately. One was the lock on the front door, and the other was with the android pad…but it all got worked out. Thankfully they responded immediately to phone calls. The house was very clean and the best supplied Airbnb I’ve ever been to. They even left us all the ingredients for S’mores, popcorn and a bottle of wine. Couldn’t have asked for more. There were 3-4 thermostats in the house which kept the temp nice and comfy for everyone. My kids and grandkids loved the movie room and we had lovely backdrops for our photo shoot. The dock was covered and convenient. The kayaks needed cleaning but with the boat, we didn’t end up using them. The hosts were wonderful and easy to communicate with. Loved this house and will rent from them again (possibly a smaller house).

Spent a few days boating and playing at Aaron’s. House is located on a quiet inlet but close enough to the main lake that you can be skiing,etc in no time. We hung out on the screen porch with the beautiful lake views. It’s so nice that Aaron allows dogs so we were able to bring our lab who had a great time playing in the water. The fenced yard was a plus too. We didn’t do significant cooking in the kitchen (this was a vacation) but fired up the grill and used Door Dash for sushi delivery. If we had wanted to cook, kitchen was well stocked. Super comfy beds/linens, good water pressure, cold AC. It was a great holiday break and we would love to come back one day.

This place was so lovely. They had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. So beautiful and clean. And if we had any needs they responded immediately.

We loved our stay! The spacious layout of the house was perfect for a group, and it was great having our own dock and lakeside fire pit. Very private, quiet, and clean. John was extremely responsive and friendly with anything we needed. We highly recommend and hope to visit here again.

My family’s stay at the Sporty Lakeview Ranch was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we walked into the house we felt at home. The house is decorated beautifully and is very accommodating for a large family. The kitchen is fully equipped with every appliance needed to prepare large meals. A binder was provided with information on how to operate fireplace, grill, and fire pit. All the bedrooms were nicely decorated. The bathrooms were very spacious and well stocked. The backyard was a family dream with an outdoor kitchen, beautiful fire pit, and a variety of games available for family fun. Our family’s favorite was playing pickle ball, baseball, basketball and eating s’mores by the fire pit. We hope to return next May.

We really enjoyed our stay at Tammy's house at Lake Norman. It was the perfect house for our Memorial Day getaway. The house is fairly new with plenty of space and accommodations for guests. Our families both have little kids and the house came with a crib, high chair, and plenty of toys and games to keep them busy. At the same time, this house is immaculately decorated and would have been equally great for a girls weekend or adult vacation. It's right across the street from the lake and has really nice views of the water. Everything was a quick 10-20 minute drive (restaurants, mini golf, bowling) and Door Dash also delivers, so while it felt remote on a private street, it's not far from all the conveniences you need. Tammy was also very communicative and offered easy check in/out instructions, so everything was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful stay, Tammy!

Picture-perfect lakefront sanctuary. In town for tennis tournament, and the “Lake House” as we called it was the best spot to rest and recharge. The house and its surroundings made time with friends and teammates even more special. And the late checkout gave us the peace of mind to play our best in the finals without distractions. Thanks for everything!

we loved Rhondas place! so peaceful by the water, plenty of areas to hang out inside and outside for the family and we loved all the small details for that 70s vibe. Also Rhonda was incredibly accommodating and responsive. Definitely recommend!

Great place. Very responsive host. Loved the covered dock with table/chairs for morning coffee and relaxing in the evening. All the necessities were available in the kitchen, very well stocked. Good fishing (bass and bluegill) right from the dock and backyard, great for kids. Multiple kayaks and paddle boards onsite with an easy launch from the backyard and numerous life jackets available. Very pleasant location in a quiet cove. Would stay again.

The place was very nice and met our needs. We feel the price was more than we anticipated after seeing the cleaning fees and other fees added, you learn from other places we've stayed in the past that the cost was our biggest issue. We only had a full day and a half with the family which we felt could have been a longer stay for what we paid. Anyway it is a very nice place for those that have bigger pockets.

I have nothing but great things to say about Julie and the house. She was always very responsive to questions and very nice. The house was amazing! The views were amazing! Inside the house it was clean and very inviting. Everything was super comfortable. We spent the entire weekend enjoying swimming, kayaking, and fishing. My daughter even pulled in a 10 lb catfish right off the dock. There isn't enough nice things to say about this one. Julie is an amazing host with an incredible place.

My extended family came into Charlotte for a wedding at Camelot Meadows, which is about a 10 minute drive away. This beautiful home was exactly what we needed; space, tranquility, beauty, peacefulness, plenty of room, and comfort! It was a total of seven of us, and we each had plenty of room, comfortable beds and large spacious bathrooms to share. The house is beautifully decorated with all the amenities you need while away from home. The view of the lake and the backyard area is incredible. We plan to come back to NC and stay at this home. The owners were wonderful at communicating everything we needed to have a nice stay. Thank you

fabulous location and property. close to everything you would want to do around LKN. very much enjoyed the outdoor space and all of the amenities this home had. Would totally do another round here, but for a longer stay next time.
