Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Monroe

This home is gorgeous! The view is incredible. The home was well maintained, updated and so bright and airy. The lake had quite a bit of boaters but it wasn’t disruptive. We even saw sea planes taking off and landing. It is just as Natalie described it. She was very receptive and even texted me to let me know of a farmer’s market that was open while we were there. Highly recommend this home.

Came for a birthday vacation and I def chose the right place to stay! The airbnb was close to Disney parks and gift shops. The home was just like the photos, everything was clean and beautiful 😊 The pool was so refreshing and clean, plus had a nice view of the pond. We even decided to stay an extra day, Dinara was super accommodating. I definitely recommend!

This location is hands down my favorite property in the Orlando area. The house was so much better than the pictures and descriptions! We had so many options from the multiple game rooms, the theater, the pool to keep the entire family occupied, we really could have skipped the parks and still had a great vacation. Chris was extremely helpful, sending information and instructions well in advance of check-in. He was very quick to respond to any message I sent. The kids said on the way home that this was their best vacation EVER! They can't wait to stay at this property again when we come back to Orlando.

The Host is very responsive, he is very helpful and respond to your need right away. The location is beautiful and private with a little touch of a Lake in the backyard, so peaceful. There is several thing inside the house need to be upgrade, but other than that it is a best place to stay for a large group.

Stefan’s place is in a perfect location, especially if you are going to Disney. The directions he gave on how to find it were very clear and easy to understand. We liked the fact that it was in a very quiet and private part of the gated community. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the lanai with a view of the water.

This is our second stay here and our favorite by far!! We love coming to the lake with our boat but this house just adds the extra peaceful vibes. Clean and comfy and always a great stay!!!

We had a wonderful time at the Mermaid Cottage. Steve, Amy and their son were wonderful hosts. Steve was so easy to communicate with and immediately solved any issues that we had. We were very happy with the inside of the lovely cottage and totally enjoyed the front porch and beautiful backyard. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood especially to downtown Mt. Dora. The neighbors were extremely friendly and we got to know many of them. We highly recommend the Mermaid Cottage. Thank you Steve&Amy for a lovely vacation. Karen&Doug

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Spacious dining area, bonus Florida room AND a separate screened in patio. Plenty of room to entertain, hangout and relax! The house is updated with a retro vibe that I really liked. Stocked Keurig coffee bar in the modernized retro themed kitchen was very nice. Guest bathroom is very nice and spacious but the master bath is a little cramped for a bigger guy like myself but still very nice. 5/5 stars, I would definitely stay here again.

As depicted in the photos, this is an older single wide trailer. Nothing fancy. But it has everything you need, is comfortable, allows pets, and is extremely well equipped and clean. Spotless actually. We did not use the provided kayaks or paddle boat, as we chose to go to the nearby springs instead. We had an awesome trip.

Absolutely amazing ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ we stayed for 2 nights as we made our journey driving up to Montreal. My family did not want to leave 🤣 Amazing location and activities! Not only that but Laura’s communication was amazing (way before we arrived, during and after). She has so many little things that most Airbnbs don’t bother with or don’t think of, like beach towels, extras in the bathroom for convenience, batteries and honestly the list goes on and on! I thought this trip was super personalised and was a perfect get away for a family or couple. The neighbour was super friendly as well! Thank you Laura 😊

This place was really special. We came for Mother’s Day weekend and really loved Sarah’s place to relax and unwind. We went kayaking in a nearby spring and the next day we took a little drive to Mt Dora to do some shopping and get lunch. I couldn’t wait to get back to the house both times. I just wanted to sit with a cup of coffee looking out at the lake! Cooking in the kitchen is lovely. The view from the kitchen is breathtaking and it’s so functional and well stocked! We felt the beds were comfortable. The place charmingly decorated with so many details! The showers were HOT with great water pressure. The bathrooms were pretty big too. A little ways off the dock there’s an old (non functioning) light tower that now serves as a perch for a hawks nest! We loved spying on them with our binoculars. We saw lots of alligators too and really enjoyed watching one of them catch and enjoy a fish. Sarah was always available to answer questions. I have a feeling we’ll be back!!

My family vacation at Ever After was wonderful and all 15 of us had a great time. We celebrated the birthdays of 3 of my 7 grandchildren. Each loved getting a chance to decide what we would do on their special day. Of all the activities that were offered, we enjoyed many, but ended up mostly lounging around and in the pool and spa. We all had fun on the pool slide but the kids were obsessed with it, riding it over and over again all day long. The themed bedrooms were impressive and the details that went into decorating them were amazing! Just to clarify for anyone thinking of booking a stay, the main house with the pool is a few minutes walk from the guest houses and the bedrooms are split between the 2 guest houses. We all really enjoyed watching movies in the theater room but would have liked to watch a few on the outdoor screen. The mosquitoes were bad even with the sprays and candles we used to keep them away so we didn't do much outside at night. Thanks, Andrew, for everything.

We had a lovely stay. It was so nice to come home to a clean comfortable home away from home at the end of the day. I love the decor!

We stayed at this home with our family of 6. It had all the games, toys, and entertainment a family with four young kids could ask for! We had friends come over and visit us while we were there, and the big backyard with all the entertainment and the pool enclosed from the rain kept our two families happy while they were there with us. Night time, the backyard has lights, as well as the pool, there’s an electric fireplace that could warm us back up quick in the in betweens from our pool time. Just so well thought out how they put seating in every nook of this home, so no matter where our kids wondered, we had a place to relax while they played. We visited a couple springs about 30/40 minutes from our place (that require reservations online now - heads up), and even went to Sea World, and the beach a couple days. All only 1 hr - 1.5hrs from the house. The house felt like home away from home! Thank you for the wonderful home!

If in Orlando, look no further. Michael's place is definitely where you want to stay! The house is cozy, comfortable and spacious! But the ourdoor area is absolutely incredible!! It feels like your own personal oasis that you do not have to share with anyone. The sunsets from the pool and hottub are stunning. If you want a relaxing vacation poolside or a place close to all the action of the parks this it!! You will not be disappointed! The Millers

This modernized Old Florida gem is amazing. The cottage is cute, clean, amd comfortable but when you get to the outdoor living area... holy moses what a vibe! We lounged on the daybeds, swam in the refreshing pool, and enjoyed the lapping of the waves from the lake. Private, with lush green tropical foliage around. 2 story dock great to throw a fishing line or watch the sunset.

Me and my 4 children had a great stay at Christian's. Restful when we needed a break from the heat and lines of Universal and between the movie theater and pool kept everyone very entertained. Would definitely look to rebook this home in the future.
