Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Meade

It's rare that an Airbnb is better than pictures - this one was! We had a great time here over the weekend. Very peaceful and restorative. There is so much care that has gone into this house.

We were looking for a cabin that was private and updated and this property did not disappoint. We had no neighbors and the property was immaculate. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. Quaint area approximately 30 mins from Raystown Lake, with many wineries in the area, Brookmere Winery and Vineyard Inn being our favorite. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were very nice. The kitchen was nicely appointed and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the fire-pit and hot tub. I would highly recommend this cabin. Our host Susan was easy to communicate with and prompt to respond. 5 stars all the way!!!

This property was amazing. It was even better in person than the pics show. We loved every moment here during our week-long stay from Florida. It has the perfect Pennsylvania woods scenery and is so peaceful with the stream running right through it. Eric was super prompt with any of my questions. We used the hot tub practically everyday, we enjoyed the fire pit, lounging on the porch and walking around. My kids (6&8) absolutely loved playing in the stream and of course making s’mores. The inside of the cabin was impeccably clean and cozy. There were plenty of towels. The beds were very comfortable and felt new. Everything we needed in a kitchen was available. I would stay here again and again.

We had a really lovely cabin trip here! It is rare to find an Airbnb where the place is even nicer in person than in the pictures, but this one exceeded expectations. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had 6 people in our group, which included a 5 year old. Everyone had enough room to spread out and the kid loved the game room, upstairs playroom and player outside. We are going to miss coffee and wine out in the screened in porch morning/night. Great place to stay and I would highly recommend.

Nice cabin for a family getaway. Although not modern, it was decorated like a Cracker Barrel, which is homey for most people. Lots of space, and had plenty of games .

Thought I should only give 1 star for how the place was described. The pictures didn't do the house justice, it was much nicer than I expected! The kitchen was great and connected to the living room so preparing dinner we were not excluded from the group. The location was secluded and peaceful for relaxing in the hot tub. Really close to Gettysburg for enjoying the history. Thanks for a great place for the weekend.

The cabin was spacious and well-kept with modern amenities. Well stocked with everything we forgot to bring. Beautiful outdoor space. We had an outdoor fire at night and sat on the porch in the sun in the morning. Located close to the hike and mountain biking we had plan. We will definitely go back and found the peace and quiet we were looking for.

I surprised my husband with this trip with our son, nephews and brother in law for a birthday guys weekend. They were so happy with everything! My husband said it was the best weekend! Such a beautiful place! They didn’t have one complaint. Loved the set up and fishing and scenery! I’m so thankful they got this experience! My husband definitely wants to go back!

Loved staying at this sweet little cabin! It was a little smaller than expected but the coziest cutest thing ever! I agree with Heather that this place is best suited for older kiddos and adults, loads of cute decorations and the loft could really trip someone up if they weren’t careful! It was such a peaceful, private place and it really felt like we were in a cabin to ourselves despite being in a neighborhood! Super close to a bunch of amazing wineries, hiking, and downtown Frederick, it was perfect! Thank you Heather!!

Todd’s place was all that we hoped for and more! If you’re looking for an off-grid, relaxing, retreat in nature, choose this place. The home was perfectly accommodating for anything we needed and it was amazing to unplug from our phones and the world around us. Brought 3 dogs and they were able to roam and explore freely. It was truly relaxing and peaceful!

Our one-night birthday getaway was pleasant, private. We appreciated the strong shower water pressure after a long hike nearby and empty fridge to keep our snacks and drinks in. The window ac unit was able to keep us cool. The view from the back was awesome and we were grateful that Brittany responded so quickly allowing us to check-out a little bit late. Would stay again!

We loved staying here with our teen daughter and dog for the Thanksgiving weekend. It's so peaceful and private. There was a walking trail along the creek for the dog (and us). The cabin was very tidy and warm. The hosts were very quick to respond when we reached out to them. If you have littles you'll love that all the beds are in one room. My daughter did not like this haha so she decided to sleep out on the couch (didn't use the pullout) and found it to be very comfortable without the snoring parents! You will love this place!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Very relaxing, beautiful cottage and east, smooth communication. It was perfect for our four person retreat weekend.

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend. Location is beautiful. Cabin is perfectly simple and thoughtfully supplied. We loved the decks, the birds, the creek and rain sounds. We had a point of confusion on check in and Susan was responsive and kind. We both very much hope we can visit again.

Angela was a great host and we loved the cabin! The cabin felt private, cozy, and was the perfect place to both start and end the day. Angela was wonderful to work with and helped to really make us feel taken care of during our stay. Cannot overstate how peaceful and scerene the location is! The perfect place to sit back on the deck with morning coffee and soak up the countryside.

The place was gorgeous and the hosts were great! Response time was less than 5 minutes and they were super friendly. The place was super clean and the hosts thought of every need! Even when the hosts were on their porch and we were on ours, it felt completely private. Great views of the land and creek. Great time and great place!

We a wonderful place! We wanted to quiet retreat and it fit the bill. Nestled in the forest, all you see and hear is natural. Yet the house had all the things so you had a quiet spot with all the modern features. We completely relaxed, cooked delicious food, went to a brewery and celebrated our anniversary in tranquility. Here are a couple of notes: Bring your stocks of groceries with you. There is Wegman’s closer to town but once you are there, you won’t want to pop down to get to the store. You really need a 4 wheel drive to get to the house because it is really off the beaten path. But it is totally worth it! It could be hard to fine but you are given step by step directions which are spot on. Bring a throw blanket if you use one home. They have a wonderful bed with a super comfy comforter! But if you like to read under a throw, no biggie just bring one! Tori is a great host! Very responsive! We simply loved this place and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

We loved our stay at C & O abode. It was exactly as described and as the pictures showed. The house is beautiful with amazing amenities such as heated floors, room darkening shades, sound machines in every room and toys and books in the kids room. We enjoyed the peaceful setting and beautiful decor. Jen was very responsive and even sent a long list of recommendations for things to do! The kids loved the crystal grotto caverns and the arial adventure park. Also highly recommend Harper’s ferry brewing for locals beers and delicious pretzels! We look forward to staying here again in the future.

The pictures don't do this cabin any justice. It was so beautiful and peaceful there! We seen lots of wildlife every morning. It was close to all the places we wanted to go and see. We felt right at home during our stay. We plan on staying again when we return to gettysburg. Chad was very responsive.

I had another great stay with Pamela. I couldn’t recommend the host and cabin more as she was very responsive and flexible.
