Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Lake Lyndon B. Johnson

My husband and I rented Tyler’s home for 10 teens and a tween to celebrate a birthday and graduation. The pictures did not do her home justice. The kids were running from area to area in awe of all the things to do when we arrived. They stayed in the bunk room and we had a private room in the back as well as our tween. They immediately jumped on the paddle boat and kayaks. Jumped in the pool. Played games. There are so many options for cooking for large groups. It is so clean. We LOVED it and never felt crowded. We have stayed in more Airbnbs than I can count and this is our favorite!! Tyler communicated so well and did me a huge favor and I can’t even say how much I appreciated that. Thank you so much Tyler! We hope to return someday!!! Highly recommend.

Sherston's home was perfect for our large family gathering. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking and hanging out on the deck and swings. The garage apartment was perfect for a couple with a baby who needed their own space. The upstairs bedrooms were quite warm, even with the A/C on, but it was manageable with the box fans that were provided. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The grill on the deck needs a new grease tray and catch pan, but we were able to use it to cook burgers. We did spend the first hour sweeping up leaves and pollen from the outdoor seating areas, but I'm sure that 's hard to control with the number of beautiful oak trees on the property. The area was very quiet and peaceful with plenty to see nearby including Longhorn Caverns and Inks Lake state parks. The owner was very responsive and I wouldn't hesitate to book this place again!

We stayed at Matt & Jen's Place at Horseshoe Bay while in town for our son’s wedding, and it was everything we hoped for and more. What a lovely, fun home! There was plenty of space for our entire family, and the variety of games kept everyone entertained throughout the stay. One of the highlights was having a well-equipped kitchen — it had everything my husband needed to bake our son’s wedding cake, which made the experience even more special. The home was comfortable, clean, and truly felt like a retreat where we could relax and enjoy being together during such a meaningful time. If you're looking for a spacious, inviting place to host family or friends, this is it. We are so grateful we found it and would absolutely recommend staying here!

This place was just like the photos! Went for a getaway weekend with my girls. Everyone enjoyed the place, and had everything you need for a weekend stay in! Host was responsive at all times and so nice! Would recommend coming here or any homes this host has!

Loved the location. Very central and close to everything. They had a PDF with a list of restaurants and things to do. Perfect for kids and families with pets. Neighbors were very friendly. Nights were quiet and enjoyable. Highlight of the trip was the kids bunkhouse. I wasn't aware it was truly separate and the kids LOVED having their own space. Garrett and co were very helpful and friendly. Any issues we had were addressed immediately. Customer service was excellent! Would book with them again. They made the airbnb much more enjoyable and relaxing.

Great place to stay, big enough for large groups, great pool and hot tub and outdoor kitchen space that we had a hibachi chef come and cook for us. Blake always quickly responded and answered any questions we had. Would stay here again!

Nicely appointed, very clean and beautiful spot! Denise was a great communicator and even arranged for an earlier check in when our plans had us in the area a few hours earlier than expected.

We loved staying at this loft! It had a lovely view of the hill country and it is all shiny and new. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathrooms were nice with plenty of towels. My boys were obsessed with the pool/hot tub, little store and game room. We all played shuffleboard and ping pong for hours. It was a great getaway–close enough to stores and restaurants but secluded. I would definitely come back!

Very homey environment with modest accoutrements that were plenty for us. We enjoyed watching the neighbors goats. Great spot to bring your dogs. Small village of other rentals but far enough apart to feel private. Close enough to town to go out or grab provisions but far enough to get a little quiet. All around great stay.

Judy is a wonderful host! She communicated with us immediately. She showed us all the amenities of the property and the house when we arrived. The house was a cute decorated Texas theme pattern. She thought of everything in the house! Beds were comfortable! The living room had a pool table and a smart TV. The outside sitting area was very peaceful and serene! Lots of chairs to sit on and take in the views! The lake was beautiful as well as the pool! This was a little slice of heaven on Lake Buchanan. I wish we had more time because the area was beautiful, scenic, and relaxing! Thank you to Judy for hosting your home, being responsive, giving food requests, and providing extras on the lake. We hope to return soon!

It was perfect and as advetised !

One of my favorite places I have ever stayed! The house looked exactly like the pictures and was perfect for a quiet, peaceful getaway. It felt private and safe and the surroundings were beautiful. You can tell every detail was really thought out - my favorite part being the water color painting palette we found in the clubhouse. Even the coffee provided in the airbnb was from the local spot that was recommended nearby. I really could not recommend this place enough and hope to be back soon!
