Gorgeous quiet home on the lake. Host was quick to answer questions and provided great resources and references for home and surrounding area!

Amazing house with great lake access. Easy to rent a boat and park at the dock. Made use of the fire pit and the big deck was a great spot to relax. The kitchen is very well supplied. Would love to return.

Cooper’s landing is always amazing stay! This was my third time staying and every single time has been accommodating to our needs in every way: from dinner reservations (and all of our indecisions), to dietary needs (vegetarian), to early morning breakfast needs and so much more. All staff members are easy to communicate with, polite and friendly.

Comfy beds decent pillows. Quite small but cozy. The included breakfast at the restaurant is nice.

I really enjoyed staying at this property. I was here for 4 months for work in town and had no issues. There are a good number of travel trailers on the property but the house is in the back corner so it still had a good sense of privacy. At night there are so many stars, you could sit up all night and still not count them all. There are chickens and roosters that roam the property and give it a wonderful sense of being in the country. The heating and air conditioning works wonderfully, the bed is very comfortable (maybe bring a pillow or two), the kitchen is minimal so maybe bring a grill or a plug in burner for cooking food, otherwise you're about 5-10 minutes from town. Shirley communicated great, if you ever have any issues she's quick to address it. I will definitely be staying here again if I ever come work in town again.

We spent 5 days at Blue Pointe on Lake Gaston, after having to cancel our mountain vacation due to Hurricane Helene. We couldn't have asked for a nicer vacation, and have now decided that we are "lake people". The house was very cozy and welcoming. The layout was perfect for our family - my son, his wife and young children took the bottom floor, my husband and I had the main floor master, and my single adult children slept upstairs. My young grandchildren and dog played safely in the fenced yard, and we appreciated the Poop disposal station. The whole family enjoyed playing on the large property and fishing off the dock, and also the availability of the kayak. The weather in mid-October was absolutely perfect and we were even graced with the Northern Lights and a morning visit from a bald eagle. We had to make up our own beds and there were missing linens, but the host fixed the problem quickly when we reached out.

There was some issue to check-in but Lisa was ready to help. Overall we found a solution so I should say Lisa is good host.

Carlissa’s place was the perfect overnight stay for us on our road trip. The place is very clean with all of the required accommodations. I also made a mistake with the initial check in dates, and Carlissa adjusted our booking within minutes after hearing my inquiry. Super helpful! Highly recommended!

Cozy, peaceful, idyllic, and serene escape. We loved it! Our dog loved it too; sorry that she barked at the horses constantly. We really enjoyed all the extra snacks too.!

Been quite a few spots on Airnb. Catherine and Shawn are truly the best host I have experienced….and not even close. They enjoy sharing their slice of heaven to those who appreciate all it has to offer. Gorgeous property to get out and explore and take it all in .It’s a trip my son and I always look forward to.

We had an amazing time at the carriage house. Between all 3 doggos and the amazing trails and all the beautiful horses on the ranch, it was a truly enlightening and relaxing experience. Oli the ranch hand is a truely helpful and kind person. We stayed for a month and had packages and he always helped out with tips on local site seeing adventures and we even got locked out once and he was so responsive. We are travel, nurses and coming home to such a peaceful and serene setting was truly priceless. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to disconnect from the world and just relax and reconnect with nature. Expect to drive at least thirty minutes to town for larger shopping centers and one hour to Raleigh.
