Eclectic Gem with a Garden Terrace in Midtown

The apartment is located one block south of Piedmont Park’s leafy walking paths in Atlanta’s vibrant Midtown neighborhood. Some of the city’s trendiest restaurants, cafes, nightlife spots, and boutiques are just a stroll away. Atlanta's rail transportation called MARTA has its Midtown station on 10th Street just four blocks west with connecting buses at the station. Lyft and Uber are usually within a two minute wait any time of day or night so there is no need for a rental car. The streets are lighted at night and relatively safe for walking; however, just like in any major city, your attention should be focused on your surroundings and not on your smartphone. At just over 700 sq. ft., this one bedroom, one bath with full kitchen and laundry has plenty of room for two. The outside terrace is 300 sq. ft. and overlooks garden designed with a focus on Southern horticulture with Camellia, Hydrangea, Crape Myrtle, Rhododendron, Azalea, Hosta, Gardenia and numerous mature Japanese Maples. The location is in Central Midtown and a short walk to many bars, restaurants, coffee houses, two grocery supermarkets, numerous specialty shops and retail areas and of course Piedmont Park is 250 feet from your doorstep. In addition to Piedmont Parks jogging & biking, the Atlanta Beltline offers miles more with an entrance at the park and of course there is no charge for either Piedmont Park (except pool) or the Atlanta Beltline. Decor is an eclectic blend of family antiquities and modern comfort with a flair for the unique. To begin, Bert was an amazing host! Very responsive and always kind. We ran into some unexpected issues and he was so quick to solve the problem at hand. The location is absolutely perfect if you’re looking for lots of fun things to do and see within a walkable distance. I can’t put into words how convenient of a location this was for us. Would recommend Bert and his place without hesitation, and plan to visit again!

I absolutely loved this Airbnb! It was the perfect amount of space for 2 of us and is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. We appreciated the high-end linens and not having to bring shampoo/conditioner. It’s situated in the adorable Morningside area and close to restaurants and bars. When we return to Atlanta again, we will 100% stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and spacious home in Virginia Highlands! The space was perfect for our nearly week-long visit—super comfortable with plenty of room to relax. The large kitchen made it easy to cook meals, and the dedicated office room was a great bonus for working remotely. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Piedmont Park, Trader Joe’s, and tons of great restaurants and bars in the Virginia Highland neighborhood. It was the perfect blend of quiet and convenient. The host was very responsive and attentive. When we mentioned that the bathroom sinks weren’t draining well and the cleaning could’ve been better, she immediately came by to address it herself, which we really appreciated. She also allowed us a late checkout, which was incredibly accommodating. Overall, a great experience—we would absolutely stay here again!

David and Michael are awesome hosts! The location was stunning and comfortable, with the most beautiful balcony. We were able to spend much of our time walking through the neighborhood for most of our activities and restaurants and everything felt extremely safe! David and Michael gave us recommendations to go to the local Jazz festival and checked in with us via message and in passing to ensure we were doing well and enjoying ourselves! We were so lucky to stay at this location, and would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area! 😊
