We really enjoyed our stay in Silverton! The house was very comfortable for 4 adults and 3 kids.. The location was perfect, so easy to walk around town and get to trails! We appreciated the dog-friendly touches as well.

We had a great, quick stay. Location is great. We have stayed here before and they have it down. The grounds have lots of activity for all ages.

Most beautiful view and peaceful surroundings! We love working with Madison and have stayed here twice. Home has everything you need and more! Great for families!

We came to town for our son’s wedding at the Sunnyside Chapel which was in walking distance. The house has the charm for the area and breathtaking views all around. We had a large family with us and used both the house and the garage apartment. The kitchen was a great gathering place for all of us as it is very spacious. I will say, we have never paid this much for a stay but for our large family to be all together it was defiantly worth it. It is a 5 min drive to the cute Main Street and grocery store. There was plenty of refrigerator space for all your drinks and food. Very clean and nice towels which is always appreciated. Very responsive host who went above and beyond. I would not hesitate to book again and highly recommend.

The cabin was exactly what we needed — 5 minutes from town (Creede), with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, and a nice, low-key space to hang during our (limited) downtime. Although I wouldn't say the kitchen was supremely appointed, we had everything we needed for making breakfast, lunch and small dinners there. The loft is spacious with a queen + 2 twin beds (good for us plus our three young kids). The downstairs bedroom was cosy and enjoyed a separate entrance (good for a couple). The bathroom pocket door didn't have a latch which was ok. We had a super fun (and, I admit, rather late) night at the fire pit under an amazing starry sky. They seem like they're building out the amenities a little more, which will be great. The owners are friendly, helpful, accommodating and easy to reach. This region of Colorado is insanely underrated and the cabin location offers great access to everything in the area. I highly recommend catching everything at the Creede Repertory Theatre.

Really awesome house in the middle of town but also quiet and peaceful. Perfect combination. Walkable to all the restaurants.

The house was great! It was very cute and close to spots in town that we wanted to go to. It was larger than we expected, which was awesome! The stairs were quite creaky, which made for loud mornings, but that is to be expected with an old house. We had an issue with the coffee pot and Angela was very responsive. I would definitely recommend the house!

I’m sorry to say that due to a family emergency I was unable to stay with Anne. I did call. She took the time to listen to me and make the necessary adjustments.

We booked late in the day and Phyllis & Arlen responded promptly and accurately so we had a place to stay that night. The cabin was rustic, but clean and had some really interesting boulder features around the house with nice balconies and a gas burning stove for some fun character. I wish we could have stayed a a bit longer and enjoyed it more. One request - although the kitchen was complete with pans, glasses, plates, coffee maker, etc. there was no coffee. Especially since we arrived so late, it would have made the stay perfect, if we had some coffee available in the morning. Maybe a baggie or two with some coffee to use, and we could have gotten more later at the grocery store. Thank you!

We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. We had a beautiful view of the mountains to wake up to each morning that set our moods for the day. The place was exactly as advertised and perfect for our trip of 4 adults with plenty of room for additional adults/kids. We brought a few cooking supplies with us but ended up leaving everything packed in the truck since the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. Our main purpose for the trip was to ride the Alpine Loop on the Polaris Ranger and there was just enough to park the trailer and the truck in the designated parking area. Awesome communications prior to check-in as well as mid-visit check-in just to make sure everything was going smoothly which we greatly appreciated and no issues with the check-out either. Julie was great to work with and will definitely save this as a favorite!

This place is as promised. No running water and bring your own sleeping bag/pillows. You may also need a fifth of whiskey. But an absolutely stunning trip to seclusion. I really liked the place. Be prepared to hike a bit and pack up some firewood if the weather is cold. I did not need to light a fire in August. Electricity is minimal, enough power to charge a couple cell phones and run a light partially through the night. Absolutely a cool experience, just don’t expect a shower, unless it rains. Hosts were excellent. The outhouse is lovely.

What an amazing find! Bill and Sandy's cabin sits in the middle of what has to be one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Much as we wanted to hike and fish (well, try to fish), we had trouble leaving the porch with its amazing view of the pasture, the horses and mules, the beautiful hillside, and the distant reservoir. The silence, except for a few bird calls and an occasional whinny from a horse, was so peaceful and inspiring. The cabin, as others have said, is spacious and well-stocked, even to the point of having a good supply of firewood, kindling, and old newspaper for the woodstove and the outdoor firepit. The cabin is also something of a museum, full of antique ranching gear and other fascinating items. Can't say enough good things about it. And Bill and Sandy were great hosts. We enjoyed Bill's anecdotes about ranching and the general area. One of our most memorable vacations and all too short.

Charles's place was a perfect mountain getaway for our family!! The cabin is immaculately furnished with everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen and laundry, cozy bedrooms, tv, wifi, games, books and a spacious deck with BBQ. The views were spectacular, complete with the sound of rushing water from the Cimarron River, visiting chipmonks and deer grazing close to the cabin! 🦌🏞 We enjoyed fishing and kayaking at Silver Jack, hiking the East Fork and Wetterhorn Basin Trailheads, and visits to Ouray (Box Canyon & Hot Springs) and Telluride (gondola to Mountain Village). Charles was a superb host - thanks for a wonderful stay!! Highly recommended 🌟🌟

We really enjoyed the serenity of the place. We really enjoyed disconnecting from the world around us. Seeing the wildlife was amazing. Looking up at the stars at night really refreshed us. We will be back.

Loved the cabin. Perfect base camp for hiking in the area and visiting Lake City. Staff at the lodge were super friendly and helpful.

My husband and I rented this cabin for Valentines weekend, and it was exactly as described. The owners are on property but it felt very secluded as the back porch where the hot tub is, is private and away from everything. This cabin was very homey and we absolutely loved the fire burning stove, after sitting in the hot tub out in winter it was what we needed to come and warm up by. The owners supplied the wood for us, and had it started before we even got there. They had all the amenities that we needed to make food. We absolutely loved this little get away and want to do it again.

We travel a lot and have stayed in many places, but few were as pleasurable as this place here in Ouray. It is obvious someone has spent a lot of time and investment fixing up this older home. It is very comfortable quite lovely and the hot tub was awesome!

Truly fantastic spot, with the river running in the background for ambient noise, giant trees, amazing deck space + hot tub. You're going to want to bring an eye mask for sleeping unless you like being woken up by the sun. No window coverings in 2 of the bedrooms with eastern facing windows.

Wonderful, comfortable place to stay! We can’t wait to come back.

This was a great experience to stay in the cabin that we were in.

We had been back country camping and needed a place to stay for a couple days to get some work done and get in a shower. Lots of great amenities with a walking trail that leads to town. Love the front porch swing and picnic table, made for a great place to get a little work done while also still feeling like I was on vacation.

This was a wonderful location, right on the river and close to everything you want to see. Highly recommended!
