Lake house holiday rentals in Lake Bridgeport

This was the perfect family weekend trip! EVERYTHING is fantastic from the home to the lake access. Easy access, VERY clean. There is virtually no internet, and it was not storming the first day. I think that should be clearly and visibly advertised, almost obnoxiously advertised. However that did not affect our trip and I still rate this 5-stars and one of the best lake houses we’ve ever stayed at! I would recommend this home to anyone in the area or staying in the area.

Mr James’ property was a calm retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of cities and daily life. A bubbling pond below wafts music of water upwards, and the air is filled with bird song and breeze. Mr James’ attention to detail is imprinted through the land, from miles of walking and UTV trails, to rock fire pits, pretty lantern lights to light each camp site. There are endless nooks and solitary retreats tucked away, perfect for reflection, conversation or reading. The lakes and ponds, walking trails and beautiful sites beckon so winsomely, you’ll find yourself meandering for hours outside exploring the wild and native land of Marluc Ranch.

The home looked exactly like the photos. It was even nicer than I thought it was gonna be. It was large enough for our big family. Had enough spaces for people to go off on their own and find some space. Yet it was cozy. Everything was top of the line. She thought of everything and had a lovely bottle of wine for us when we arrived, which was well needed because we had travel day long. We will be back!😎

Beautiful home in idyllic location. we had a very peaceful retreat after exploring the Dallas Fort Worth area.

The home was wonderful. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. We felt right at home and it was very clean. The view of the lake was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

Trent's beautiful lake home was perfect for our Father's Day gathering. The home was so incredibly stocked with everything we needed and much more. The lake views were beautiful and was fun to watch all of the boats go by. The landscaping was picturesque, beds and other furniture super comfy and inviting. Perfect place for a family lake getaway.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described—if not better. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the comfortable beds and quality linens to the fully stocked kitchen and welcoming touches throughout. The location was perfect: quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. Check-in was a breeze, and our host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and kind. We truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, stress-free getaway!

This is a lovely home to stay in. Garth really did a great job making this house very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here and the neighbors are awesome.

Raj’s home was perfect for our family trip. It was very spacious and clean. Raj was very response and sweet-leaving out toys & baby supplies for my daughter.

It was just what we needed for my family. The property was very clean and the neighbors are very friendly. Little did we know that the stay was right across the street from a food truck park that happens one day of the weekend and it was nice to grab some food and drinks from there. It was such a nice place for us to stay for the weekend. It surely made it feel like home. Thank you!

The lake house was as perfect as it appeared online. Lilian was a thoughtful and gracious hosts, providing us with all the information we needed, and the house was perfect for our weekend getaway. The dock was great for our boat. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was fully stocked, and the location was perfect. Very spacious and beautiful home . Easy access & large parking space (fit 2 cars with some room to spare). Accommodated 15 people well (2 large families) . Lots of games for the kids , peaceful neighborhood , Beautiful patio , and large open concept . The master bathroom was so nice and spacious . We were in town for a concert @ the Life stadium so it about a hour drive but worth being away from the busy city life & traffic. All in all would recommend .

This was the perfect little place for an escape. The kids had such a great time. Sara was very communicative and answered any questions we had. And the sheets are some of the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on.

I believe this was a fairly new listing. I had some questions prior to booking. Nina was extremely responsive, friendly, and clear in her answers. I feel as the pictures don't do this place justice. It was clean, spacious, and felt like home. I definitely recommend this place and would stay here again, if available.

Barbara’s home was absolutely beautiful and her kindness and accommodation was the best bar none. We have plans to come back at least one more time this summer and hopefully occasionally throughout the year going forward. Thank you so much, Barbara.

Tomie’s place was a great place to stay while in the Bridgeport area. It was so clean and updated very nicely . Hosts were easy to communicate with and check-in was very simple. The hot tub was a bonus and made for some relaxing nights on the deck, and the grill was great for outdoor cooking. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location right on the lake! Well equipped with everything we needed to have a great time. Looking forward to staying there again!

Enjoyed a last minute stay here with some coworkers for a couple days. The house is very spacious and the host was very accommodating and friendly.

I stayed at this location for several months while working temporarily in Decatur and Alvord, Texas. I stayed alone and found the area quiet and peaceful. Shawn was a great host and communicated often regarding grounds maintenance. This is a lakefront property with wonderful views. If I find my way back to Decatur or Alvord, I will call Shawn and see if his property is available. Thank you, Shawn, for a great stay.

Great weekend, lovely scenery and a awesome host.

We rented this house as my daughter was playing in a softball tournament in the area and we needed a place for the weekend. We stayed with my inlaws and my mom 6 of us total and the house was immaculate. Its a big beautiful home with absolutely everything you could think of for an amazing stay. The most comfortable bed we have ever slept in in the master bedroom. If its available I will never stay anywhere else if we are in the area. This is the Mecca of airbnbs. BEAUTIFUL PLACE!
