“We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay at in Oahu! I loved the amenities provided! I appreciated the little things (i.e., paraben and sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, natural hand soap, utensils to cook, beach towels, and so much more!) The AC worked great and was very fast in cooling the room so we were quite pleased. The bedroom was the perfect size (very spacious) and the mattress was comfortable. Overall, the location and amenities were wonderful, especially if you’re planning to stay in North Shore.”

“I got married in Haliewa and got Ashleigh's place to house my bridal party. There was 8 of us that stayed there and it was the perfect amount of space with room to spare. Upon entry, I was immediately blown away by how clean the place is. I couldn't find a speck of anything if I tried! The house was in a great location for us, right across the street from Foodland. It was nice to have 4 parking spaces since we had a lot of rental cars. There was a nice little lawn with a great view of the ocean. The kitchen was so nice, clean, spacious and very organized! Ashleigh was very quick with responses to any questions I had and check out was super easy. Did I mention how clean it was?! I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope that I get the opportunity too! It was beyond perfect for my wedding weekend.”

“This was my first time at an Airbnb. The prices of other accommodations in Laie were way beyond my budget. This lodging alternative to the local resorts suited my needs as a solo traveler perfectly. This is a private home located on a residential street which has a surprising amount of pedestrian traffic, which underscores its convenient proximity to shopping at the local strip mall, an LDS church, and BYU-Hawaii. The room has a separate entrance via a patio on the left side house, and is exactly as depicted online with a charming beach theme. Any questions I had were immediately resolved by sending a text message to Amber's phone. The room is equipped with a small food preparation area and a large metal sink outside the toilet / shower. Every possible need a traveler might have was anticipated and provided for. What I found most interesting was that previous guests would leave something random in the refrigerator for the next visitor, ranging from condiments to unopened bottles of liquor. I mention this specifically because Laie is a "dry" town where most stores are closed on Sundays. You can't even find a bar at the Marriott. As a non-"temple ready" Mormon, I was climbing the walls throughout my stay in Laie craving coffee and alcohol. so I was absolutely delighted to find some left behind in the room. The one drawback to Laie's rural location is that TV service is spotty, and even though there's a nice large flat-screen TV in the room, you have to content yourself with streaming services like Netflix and Vudu, and this is customary throughout the area. The locals I met didn't watch news channels like CNN or MSNBC and weren't well-versed in current affairs at all. However, this may be a good thing because why would anyone come to a place as beautiful in Laie and lay around in bed zoning out staring at television? If you are specifically interested in Laie because you want to see the LDS Temple, BYU-Hawaii or the Polynesian Cultural Center, this accommodation is a perfect central location. If you want to branch out and drive further north to the surfer havens on the North Shore, this may well be a more cost-effective alternative to choose for lodging as home base. I was completely with the room, Amber's skills as a host and especially the price. Highly recommended!”
