Apartment holiday rentals in La Veleta

I absolutely LOVED this place! It was so magical, just like the pictures but better. The glass is actually reflective on the outside (mirror) but just looks like clear glass from the inside. I thought we would need to use the blinds but it was totally private. I also didn't realize it was an upper unit which turned out to be even better with the views. There is no shortage of great restaurants and coffee shops nearby within a 10 min walk. The pool and grounds are kept up daily. The AC kept us cool at night for a comfortable sleep. We pretty much had the place to ourselves! There isn't much storage but not a big deal for us because we packed light. Overall, a 10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend!

Place is nicer and is bigger in person, the private pool and patio on the main floor were great, the bedroom (downstairs) also has a private balcony. Great location if you have a car (which i recommend for all of tulum). AC worked great. The entire place was very spacious. The home is located in a nice and new private community of other apartments/hotels. Hosts were great, detailed, and responsive. Would stay here again.

Muy cómodo el departamento con todos los servicios y muy buen diseño y distribución, muy cómoda la cama, ubicado muy cerca de la zona de restaurantes y zona comercial de la veleta, volvería a hospedarme en este alojamiento, muchas gracias por las atenciones.

Daniela's place is located right where you want to be in La Valetta, so many choices for food and coffee and you can rent a scooter right across the street, always negotiate a better deal. Also right across the street are 2 dogs who are very calm during the day but were barking like crazy my first night, I got some ice cubes from the freezer and threw them at them, I missed but this confused them and they took the ice and quit barking ! Please read the hosts instructions so you are not standing on the street in 30c heat trying to figure out how to get in ! The room had coffee and a machine so I sat on the patio every morning, the sun peaks over the buildings at 7 so I found myself out there early to enjoy it. I brought my firestick which connected to the wifi easily so I could watch hockey and UFC at night. The food at La Consentida is the best but was very quiet although May is getting into low season. Also, Tlayudas El Fandango is amazing for take out.

This place was perfect for a romantic getaway! The location was great as it close to downtown and about 15 minutes from the beach. The hosts was great at accommodating our stay as they had ATV rentals available for us to get around town easier. They provided helmets and pick-up/drop-off of the ATV. Every issue we ran in to, they had a quick solution. Nice quiet area that felt safe. Would definitely recommend for an intimate space that is not too far from the party and beauty of Tulum!

This was my second time staying at this apartment, and I loved it so much the first time that I brought my husband back for his birthday, just two and a half months after visiting with my sister. That said, there are a few things first-time visitors should know: 1. Rent a car. The apartment is in a more remote area, and the road leading in is unpaved. It’s not difficult, but it might feel unfamiliar if you’re not used to driving on dirt roads. A rental car gives you flexibility and peace of mind. I wouldn’t recommend using taxis every time you want to go to the beach or into town—it adds up quickly and limits your freedom. 2. Fly into Tulum Airport. Now that the Tulum airport is open, it's only about 35–40 minutes away from the apartment. You’re only just a few miles from the beach and very close to the town, where you’ll find great restaurants, shops, and a more local vibe. If you’re a fan of Thai food, I highly recommend Sukhothai—it’s about a 10-minute drive. Overall! Great!!

Honnêtement, un lieu hors du temps ! Effectivement l’accès est un peu compliqué dans cette zone en construction mais les taxis trouvent généralement facilement, et on peut demander à l’accueil également de nous en commander un. Le lieu en lui même est juste magique, salle de sport face au lever du soleil et piscine extraordinaire. Cuisine d’extérieur, douche tout y était ! Je recommande c’était parfait

I enjoyed my stay so much that I’m giving it a 5 star rating in spite of a couple of issues. The bedroom a/c is not cooling properly and there could have been better communication and availability of a technician to take care of it. It wasn’t a real issue as the living room a/c kept the bedroom cool enough. The swimming pool needs upkeep, but this is beyond the hosts’ control (maybe don’t advertise the pool). Finding the apartment is hard as there is no signage, but people working at the complex were helpful. Also, the description never stated a power consumption limit, but apparently there is one. I didn’t leave the a/c’s on while away, so I hope I don’t get an extra charge. Having said all this, the stay was still 5 stars. The apartment is beautiful, we appreciated the full kitchen with washer/dryer, the location is very central if you have a car, it’s peaceful and we enjoyed the balcony and outdoor tub. Would definitely come back.

Hands down one of the best Airbnb’s I've rented out, extremely clean, peaceful and private, all amenities working properly. Lots to do around the area if you’re looking a for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Since before I landed I was provided clear instructions on how to get there. I am definitely coming back to this specific place when returning to Tulum. I can't miss a special shoutout to Axel for being one the most responsive and caring hosts I've ever come across. Very well done. This place has met more than my expectations.

We enjoyed our vacation very much. Was so nice to come home each evening after exploring to a beautiful pool and handcrafted cocktails. Such a nice space. Panza restaurant (onsite) had wonderful food and very friendly and helpful staff. Love the idea of incorporating resident artists and wellness into the Aflora concept. Aldea Zama was a good location for us. Was able to bike to Tulum Town as well as the beaches and Tulum ruins. Booked a cenote and cooking tour with a local guide via airbnb experiences. Was one of the highlights of our trip! 100% recommend staying here responsive and helpful hosts!:)

We ( my wife and daughter) were there from the 12th to the 16th of May 2025. It's a beautiful place with a small pool, 2 bed rooms, 2 bath, and 3 air cons. It's better to come in your car to this place as it would get better to visit all the places around. Shawn was always there to reply to the messages and I would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Tulum.

We stayed at several AirBnbs on our recent adventure to Tulum, and our stay at Casa Arca was by far the greatest highlight of them all! From the incredible hospitality during our initial check in (complete with wine, fruit, and fresh juices from the local market!), to the extremely quiet and peaceful neighborhood nestled right next door to all the wellness activities at Holistika, we immediately felt comfortable and right at home. We never wanted to leave! The home is impeccably clean, and is so well-appointed that it’s stocked with everything you could ever possibly need while on vacation. A true home away from home. We absolutely loved spending sunsets on the rooftop, and lazy mornings in the incredibly comfortable master bed. The home is just like you see in the photos, yet somehow so much more amazing when you get to see it in person. Huge shout out to the very responsive and helpful management team! We hope to be back to visit again soon!!

Tucked away in a peaceful corner of Tulum, it offers a serene escape while still being close enough to explore the vibrant town and beautiful beaches. The design and decor are absolutely stunning – rustic, warm, and full of character, with thoughtful touches in every corner. You can feel the love and intention that went into creating this space. The lush garden, the refreshing pool, and the calming ambiance made it feel like a private oasis. The hosts were incredible – warm, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed, from local recommendations to transportation. It felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being welcomed into a home. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or a tranquil spot to unwind and reconnect with nature, Casa Mestiza delivers! Highly recommended!

Marni was an excellent host who was very responsive and kind! The location feels very safe. There is security into the neighborhood and it is far from the tourist areas/ noisy streets so you’ll need a car but I wouldn’t have had it any other way ( car rental was also so cheap) Parking is easy, the neighborhood is pretty, and we felt like the best restaurants were local in the area ( Aldea Zama) Thank you!

This Airbnb is beautiful, the pictures don’t really do it justice! When I arrived for check in my phone was dead and thankfully the helpful security was able to call the host for me and get me into the apartment and I really appreciate that. I loved the location of the Airbnb as it’s located in Downtown Tulum near many restaurants and gift shops. An ATV/ Bike rental store is two stores over and I enjoyed being able to walk right over and rent one. I would love to stay here again the next time I visit Tulum!

Hermoso el espacio y su estética , la azotea con piscinas; increíble. La prolijidad en la transmisión de información de parte de Marcos, nivel súper experto definitivamente. Respondió todo con inmediatez y precisión, todo el tiempo atento a resolver. La estadía fue hermosa ahí! Para este alojamiento consideren arrendar auto o moto ya que es alejado del centro, el terminal y supermercados. Tiene pequeños almacenes y restaurantes cercanos para abastecerse de todos modos.

We had a great stay here. Lots of space especially with two floors. Comfortable bed, sheets and pillows, and furniture. Lots of light and a great space on the second floor to hang out and have fun. The views from every window are really nice, and the private pool on the rooftop lounge is quite unique and special. Washing machine definitely a needed bonus for us. Fully functional kitchen, although we didn’t really need to cook with all the great food options around. The restaurant on site was simple and delicious and the staff were wonderful. The property itself is gorgeous, with greenery everywhere, peaceful walking paths, nice pools, a cenote and a basic gym with AC. Would recommend renting a scooter or be comfortable walking on a bumpy dirt road to get to the main street and cross it to reach la valeta which is totally walkable. Or take a taxi to aldea zama nearby which is walkable and cute. Beach was about a 10 minute drive and city center a 5 minute drive.

El apartamento superó nuestras expectativas: es muy lindo y limpio, lo que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera sumamente cómoda y agradable. La piscina en el último piso es, sin duda, uno de los grandes atractivos; vale totalmente la pena disfrutarla, ya que ofrece un espacio perfecto para relajarse y aprovechar las vistas después de un día explorando Tulum. La ubicación es excelente, con restaurantes y bares muy cool a poca distancia, lo que facilita acceder a la vibrante vida nocturna y gastronómica de la zona. Jardar fue un anfitrión excepcional: siempre proactivo, nos brindó excelentes recomendaciones de lugares para visitar y estuvo al pendiente de nosotros en todo momento, respondiendo casi de inmediato a cualquier consulta. Muchas gracias, Jardar, por hacer una súper experiencia.

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nick and Gem's Air bnb! The apartment itself is beautiful and comes with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. It definitely gives off "home away from home" vibes. The garden area is gorgeous- having bamboo trees as a divider between the patio and pool is a great touch and adds a level of privacy from the other villas. Nick and Gem are fantastic hosts and great communicators. We really appreciated the handover they left us and took their advice to eat at an amazing restaurant called El Bodegón which is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. It's so good we ate there twice ☺️ Overall, we can't wait to come back!
