Family-friendly holiday rentals in La Porte

Thanks for a very comfortable stay @ your Airbnb. Would recommend it to anyone who visits Houston.The place is ideally located, within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. Having a Garage and laundry facility was super helpful . Trent is very responsive. We had a plumbing issue. Trent fixed it at the earliest. Thank you Trent for an enjoyable experience.

Mary’s Seascape Condo was excellent for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 older children). Queen bed & pillows were comfy, kids loved the jumbo built-in bunk beds. Mary was very responsive to questions & even accommodated an early check-in for us. Location is great— out of the way of much of the Seawall traffic. The private beach access is a total selling point, but the entire place is amazing. We loved our stay & definitely plan to book again.

We enjoyed our stay. House was as described & was stocked well. Our only disappointment was in the containers/tops lacking in kitchen. Sleeping was perfect for our crew. We loved the lower level & outside seating— great outside access for our large group. We did wish there could have been some flexibility on check-in without fee but we understood. Kitchen was stocked well and house was decorated nicely. We did however find the temperatures of house to be very hot upon arrival and it took a while to cool off. Fridge was broken when we arrived(caught next day), it did throw a wrench in things for us (some food was unsafe to consume) but the matter was handled quickly & we appreciated the speedy fix and accommodations in the meantime. Very responsive host who remediated the situation and was apologetic throughout. Couldn’t have been handled any better. Easy to get to beach & instructions for house, beach accesss & everything else. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a RESET.

Love the place . Right in front of the beach, its my 2nd time renting from her and i love it. Last time it was more of a pool view and beach was a little away but this time the beach was right in front. Loved it! I think she has 3 different kind of condos there but this one so far was the BEST!! The view was Amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was our first family vacation with our toddler. Everything went smoothly and we were able to create great memories. Gary & Anna were very responsive and helpful!

Great family house! Loved that it had a pool for the kiddos and for days we didn’t want to spend at the beach! Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Definitely will be back!

Tom was an amazing host. He met us right at the front door, was very knowledgeable and thorough. The house was equally amazing. Highly recommend staying here. We had a fabulous time!

This place was absolutely perfect! My teenage son loved the fishing my 10 year old loved the kayaking and my husband and I loved how peaceful the surroundings were! Definitely coming back!! Thank you Robin for this magnificent stay!

Wonderful place to stay including beach supplies and 6 person golf cart to get to beach. House was only 1 1/2 blocks away from beach so it was great for taking walks on the beach. This beach area is away from crowded beaches in Galveston town and offered considerable space when relaxing on the beach. Very clean home with good size kitchen and wide open living area. Hostess maintained frequent contact to make sure everything was going well and if we had any additional needs. Highly recommend this home to stay at when in Galveston area.

This home has so much character! It is super cute and charming. My boyfriend and our two pups stayed for a few days. Loved the fully fenced in spacious backyard. Paul provided so many great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area! Great location, only a couple blocks from the beach.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Edgar’s home! The location was perfect—just a quick 4-minute walk to the beach, which made it so easy for us to go back and forth throughout the day. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the beautiful backyard—it was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some family time. Edgar was a great host, and we’d definitely love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

This was very accommodating as far as location. Very convenient to and from the city. As long as you’re ok with one bathroom, this place is great for a stay right outside the city.

Kim’s place provided exactly what my soul needed. This was our first getaway in 2 years after caring for our senior Great Dane who passed at age 12 on May 21. My husband and I enjoyed BCN, a Michelin Star restaurant only 8 min away. Kim’s home is close to the River Oaks shops, lots of restaurants and coffee shops and vintage clothing shops. You can walk to Trader Joe’s and Target! Her neighborhood is walkable which we and our dogs loved. As for Kim’s place, the space is welcoming with her beautifully adorned glass art, cold a.c., great shower water pressure and temp, comfortable bed and a fully equipped kitchen. Kim’s garden is magical with gorgeous plumeria plants throughout. I enjoyed sitting on her enclosed screened patio and taking it all in and listening to the gentle wind chimes and the birds singing. Kim is responsive and available for everything you need. I 100% recommend you stay here.

Absolutely adored the place....well decorated, well maintained and very clean...was loaded with amenities and everything needed for comfort and feel at home. The shower was hot as I like and bed very comfortable. I brought my own white noise machine but did not need it because one was already provided. The hostess was very attentive and prompt with responding. The views of beach was therapeutic and amazing. Casa Del Mar staff was very friendly and professional. My husband and I spent 8 days in Galveston and it was perfect.

Wow! What an incredible place and an incredible host. We've stayed at over 30 Airbnbs and this is the only host that has gone this above and beyond - stocking the kitchen in anticipation of our Thanksgiving feast, a doggie basket with toys for our pups, a gorgeous pecan dessert and yummy pasta/sauce on the kitchen table, a zoom call to welcome us and to find out what else we needed (she ordered us more kitchen utensils & a fan from Target). The home feels like a home. Super clean, lots of character - high ceilings, lovely woodwork, lots of light, a sweet fully fenced in yard, and large comfy bedrooms. There are two bathrooms but everyone ends up using 1 upstairs as their main bathroom since it's the one with a shower - not an issue for us just FYI. The neighborhood is super walkable - so many gorgeous homes on every block. Easy to get to the Strand, beach and Broadway. Two thumbs way up for people with or without dogs! Simply amazing. We originally got the house for summer 2024 but the hurricane burlin had ruined it and we had to leave after just one night and Gloria was very understanding and professional and allowed us to reschedule for another time. We recently stayed there and continued our stay there and everything was just as we expected, everything clean, everything we needed to cook with was there, the patio was awesome to sit on day and night. She even recommended a hidden spot to see some peacocks and it was a fun adventure. Overall, you won’t regret the stay there!!! 10/10 highly recommended

Great Condo!!! Great location… ocean across the street. 3 pools and a hot tub- all areas well maintained. The condo was so cute and very comfortable- well stocked with necessities and more.

Beautiful and comfortable AirBnB that provides the perfect beach experience. With a good size pool which is PERFECT for little ones with shade and shallow ends. The house itself was very clean and decorated to feel like a home. The neighborhood itself is remotely quiet, not a high-end neighborhood but it provides a sense of Galveston culture. The house is walkable to the beach and many restaurants, as well as the pier. It’s overall a PERFECT house and location to everything. The host is very responsive and friendly!! We will be back!

I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and genuinely committed to making sure I had a great visit. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, yet quiet and peaceful for a good night’s sleep. I couldn’t have asked for a better home away from home. Had a wonderful stay at the Phoenician. Alan was so helpful and accommodating. He responded immediately to any requests or questions I had and could not have been kinder. The apartment is in a very busy area called the Galleria-around the corner from all the best shops and restaurant with easy access to major thoroughfares. The apartment is small, clean and quiet. loved our stay. the house easily accommodated 3 generations with different interests. the bedrooms were a good size and the open living/dining area made it easy to gather. the hot tub was a huge hit with everyone and the outdoor shower made it easy to get the sand off. Great house!
