Beautiful, spacious, clean, modern villa, with a friendly and responsive host

We stayed at this house for the second time. It is a very good equipped house that beautifully located very close to the beach

Our stay at HotelPraxis was incredible and Polimnia was the most gracious host I have experienced in my 10 years in Airbnb. She was close by but never intrusive, left snacks, fruits and water in the fridge, dropped eggs off, recommended restaurants and incredibly, made baked goods of some traditional Greek treats that were so delicious. My family was overwhelmed by the beauty and privacy of the Blue Lake Villa. And the home is lovely, fluffy towels, great water pressure, comfortable beds. What a treat! We will definitely return! I highly recommend.

Beautiful house in a peaceful location. Stunning views and only a short ride to beaches. Christos was the perfect host, quick communication and offered great recommendations.

Karolina and Jadwiga are very pleasant hosts and the communication between us was always very quick and helpful. Check-in works perfectly. However, Google Maps showed us the neighboring building. However, the accommodation is written outside and accordingly you can find it that way. The accommodation itself is excellent: modern kitchen and bathrooms, beautiful rooms. And the outdoor area with sunbeds, umbrellas, tables, chairs, BBQ areas and beach is phenomenal! The only thing that is a bit disturbing: you are directly on the main road and in the house itself you can still hear this noise well.

Beautiful location providing absolute tranquility. Enjoyed our stay of 11 days from beginning to end. Accommodation was superb, with everything you could ever need. All fixtures and fittings seemed brand new and were immaculately presented. Outside area was spacious and in a word fantastic. Although we had no problems, I feel Vardis would have dealt with anything we would have needed, efficiently and professionally. Vardis came to meet us at check in and was a real pleasure, even carrying in our suitcases. We met his father who came to clean the beautiful swimming pool during our stay and was lovely to meet him. we spent a week in this villa. it is perfectly equipped, clean, modern. the heated and large pool is very pleasant. it is 10 minutes from kissamos. The host was very helpful and responsive from the beginning to the end of the stay.

The villa is beautiful, the setting too. But there's not much to see in the area apart from La canne, or you have to go far

We immediately fell in love with this villa! The quality of absolutely everything in and around the building is extraordinary. The pictures cannot truly capture how beautiful and well-designed this place is. From the tasteful interior decor to the immaculate outdoor areas, every detail has been carefully thought out to provide both comfort and luxury. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway. We can’t wait to return!

Andreas could not have been more helpful. We truly enjoyed our experience. The Villa was very well appointed and perfectly located in Agia Marina. We had peaceful sleep and it was good to spend time relaxing by the pool. We will return in the future. The food locally was exceptional and a couple of evenings in Chania well worth the short trip. Thank you for such great hospitality!

Beautiful villa in a great location. If your are stunned by the pictures, you sure will be stunned by the villa itself - it is simply a gem. It lies at the top of a hill overlooking Kissamos. If you don’t mind a short, steep walk, you can even reach the town (and a supermarket) per foot. If there is anything to criticize then it is the kitchen equipment - a few more big bowls for salad etc would be great. Ioannis is a great host, super friendly and helpful. We are definitely coming back.

The place was better than I expected. In reality, everything looked bigger than in the photos. We were therefore positively surprised. The view of the sea and mountains was beautiful. The hosts made a great effort and communicated wonderfully. We could imagine coming back.

This is a 10/10 Villa. We have travelled a lot and this is by far the best Villa we have stayed in. We were a family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children aged 2, 4, 9 and 11). The views are stunning, the pool is big, all the rooms have private bathroom. Jacuzzi is also perfect for when the sun goes down! Theo was a wonderful host helping us, giving good recommendations and suprising as with some nice gestures. This Villa really is a Gem as the name suggests. As for the surroundings - it is 100% private! For me the best part was that there is a nice local village to walk to every night. There are some amazing Tavernas/Restaurants with delicious food and reasonable prices (also a mini-market). There is also a nice beach with a good restaurant and a nice cozy beach bar - it is only a 10 minute walk from the villa. And if you rent a car then it is a 10 minute ride to the Rethymnon old town, which is also a very nice place with lots of shops and restaurants. The Villa was worth every euro!

Another big thank you to Giorgos and Maria for their hospitality. A very big sandstorm from the Sahara disrupted everything on the day of our arrival. Our hosts did their best and even the impossible to clean everything and allow us to enjoy the villa in the best conditions. The villa is beautiful. Everything is planned so that we can relax and make the most of it. Full of good intentions, the products available allow us to feel comfortable as soon as we arrive. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, well-kept, and lovingly furnished place. Everything you need is there. The host was super friendly and gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and the surrounding area. Upon arrival, the fridge was already stocked with drinks, fruit, and other items, so there was no need to go shopping on the day of our arrival. It was a perfect stay, and we would love to come back.

Beautiful well equipped house in a perfect location within easy walking distance of a supermarket, beach and restaurants. What makes this house absolutely exceptional is the host, Stavros. He couldn’t have been more welcoming, meeting us with some very welcoming groceries including his homemade wine and olive oil. We will absolutely be back. We had a lovely stay at Stelios Villa. Incredible beautiful surroundings, it’s a short walk into Kalyves, we didn’t realise until day 3 but there’s a small parade of beach bars and restaurants if you walk a bit further than we had been for first 2 days. The stay was lovely, the house was beautiful. We really enjoyed the village and it’s relatively slow pace. Stelios was very responsive to messages and very helpful too.

We’ve never experienced an Airbnb like this – in terms of both the villa and the hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Eftychis and his wonderful mother – you made our stay unforgetable! We were seven people, including three children (one toddler), and everything was just perfect. The villa is spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely well-equipped – the kitchen had top-tier appliances, and the baby gear was modern, clean, and like new. The house is set in a peaceful location with a breathtaking sea view. When we arrived, a delicious homemade Greek salad and cookies were waiting for us – such a warm welcome! Eftychis was available via chat the whole time: kind, helpful, and always with great local recommendations. This place truly combines beauty, comfort, and care. We’d come back without hesitation. What a wonderful stay!! Barbara and her family were amazing hosts - they really make you feel at home. The property is a beautiful oasis close enough to Chania town while also being a private escape with an incomparable back yard pool area overlooking Suda Bay.
